CGi Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 if NMM doesn't respond, there's something wrong. Likely a .NET based error. Try optimizing and updating .NET. Some .NET versions have to be dl'ed and installed manually. NMM works flawless for me, unless it's a bug inside NMM, like the readme handler a while ago. :/ i didn't mean to insult you, but alot of people easily jump on the hate-train, not really knowing what it's all about or what's going on at all. We all better be carefull and watch our words and explain our thoughts/experience. Saying something negative without having an real reason to explain, is why the Nexus community goes down the drain, imo. it's way to easy to say that something sucks. But without delivering any reason, it's just pointless. Still people like to agree, for whats-o-ever reason. if you're good installing mods manually, there you go. i just used you as example. But you should remember, that people get consufed, when installing mods manually and thru NMM or other mod manager, loosing track of the installed files and to which mod they belong. You really should consider switching over to MO. As nice and handy as MO is, it's doc can and will be confusing for unexperienced users. But you should have a hell lot of fun with it, as you won't need any backup plan, as long as you don't touch your mod archive. installing mods, nothing will be overwritten nor replaced. All a matter of the order you install/arrange your installed mods and of your load order. And what does "Labster" mean? Must be slang, as my favorit dictonary doesn't recognize it. Silly non-native english speaking me.

I didn't mean it as some smug way of saying "We're better than the Nexus", or anything like that. Come on now. Everyone busts their asses to maintain their sites, and I'm not calling the Nexus a waste of attention. It has great things yada yada, but my joke was funny, until you undid it the funny, so there! I can see it now! CGI wants to kick my ass. jbezorg was right...don't take me completely seriously. I make jokes, often at others' expense (kinda...I guess). They tend to respond pretty funny too. I want to represent LL in a positive way, so I apologize if I've offended. I'll give you 1 free punch...

I'm gonna have a good laugh if that's what happened . If not, there are some people who will kill you even if you're marked essential. If someone is super strong, they should be able to kill you outright, if your health is low enough, with a good power attack. Find someone who's overpowered, and let them give you a good ass beating. There is such a guy at Hag's Rock (I think that's what it's called). It's the mission that Silus (at Dawnstar) gives you. Pieces of the past, the Mehrunes Dagon Daedric quest. He gives you 3 different locations, but this one is west of Markarth, and I don't even know how to get there (mountains block me. Can't find a path). I just fly there. There's a Forsworn there who just wrecks my whole person every time I fight him. Actually I did toggle TIM on and off. And yeah, if I get beaten down and my HP is 0, and someone super strong guy gives me a super strong power attack, only then I'm able to die properly. But if I jump off from the High Hrotgar for example, when I hit the ground my HP goes to 0 and won't regenerate. Plus my character stays in that weakened state, so I have to load the last save. What I'm looking for here, is whenever my HP reaches 0 for any reason, I should die. Unless I'm not to be enslaved of course.

I do see this error coming up in log but i dont think its related, no crashes or anything... Got both running and they play nicely.But you should be aware, that Vilja is heavily scripted and due to this different (in a good way) to vanilla and most other mod followers.She's best left out of sex mods. She can be enslaved, but things will become wierd. Why's that? Because the scripts running on her, try to reset her animation and ai to what the scripts want her to do. And this will conflict with sex mods. if you're unlucky, your save game will screw up. if you're lucky, the game ctd's and if you're even more lucky, just her ai screws up and this can be reseted. She seems to work fine with other sex mods, but you really need to reset her ai afterards, as she will start acting strange later ... way later. in case of SD, she's a pretty good protection against enslavement, unless you give her skimpy equipment, which will lead to what i wrote above. But you can get Vilja to work with SD and other sex mods with less hassle, by using the console to kill and/or resurrect her, as this will free her of some scripts and ai packages ... and some inventory slots that she'll be able to use than. You still better reset her afterwards. Again: This does not mean, it's 100% save to use her in sex mods. By resurrecting her, it's more likely that it will work, that's all. Things can still screw up and ruin your save game. So use the resurrection method, fuck her brain out, but don't save afterwards. Save before and use this save game for your regular gameplay.

I use boss for my load order to try and counteract with it. it might be another mod I have installed. I might have to clear her from load order since I let her sit in my game for a while. I was not sure this is the first adult mod besides ap skyrim that I have installed. I just know adult mods have a habit sometime of screwing up main stream mods.

To determine the position for sex mods, install FNiS Spells, let BOSS sort it in and place all sex mods somewhere between FNiS Spells and followers. if you got an SexiS mod installed, BOSS will sort it in after FNiS Spells, so you can safely load all other sex mods right after the SexiS mods. Yes, SexiS and it's mods are recognized by BOSS. So you got 2 ways to determine the position for sex mods. it's how i do it and works flawless for me.

I get the bound and kneeling animation 100% of the time and I even get to follow master around a bit, it always crashes, however, just as the master is about to start the sex animation. It's not an overload as I've check the crash logs and nothing spikes before the crash. Just got the Spriggan quest to work and now everything else goes nuts... This kinda stinks :/ Review the requirements for this mod and every mod required by this mod. Make sure you've met all the requirements because a CTD can be caused by attempting to use something that belongs to a mod you failed to install. Trust me, that was the first thing I tried... Guess I'll wait for the next version.

Or something is only partitially installed -> reinstall all pre-requisites and SD (completly uninstall them before, dont just overwrite), load a clean save and see if it works. (if you installed manually, check for left-overs from previous installations. Mainly old scripts.)

Use BOSS and afterwards sort SD in manually. Everything thing else is overkill, looking at the amount of mods, you use.
