Which readme? Where did you get LSpatch01.exe? (It's not in the lost spires file and not in the PSE lost spires fix.)

Double check the settings in your Player Slave Settings Spell. If you are enslaved by perhaps a bandit, think about what settings you have. Slavery mode: anything but 'off' Mobil slavers: has to be on If you try the console cheat: set IchPlayerSlaveQuest.TraderToggle to # as Polonium suggests, go ahead and set it to 1. If it still does nothing after 5 real minutes... recheck what you have installed. Anything that effects leveled lists of bandits or messes with factions could have a bad effect on this. Does the bandit continue to use you every (event time setting) seconds? @phlynx I am using Map Marker Overhaul and only one of the keys work for me. If other mods that you have use that key, perhaps it allows you to reset them to another set of keys...or perhaps edit your copy of this esp to change them. @AisuEnzeru When you were trying to exit after getting the sword- Was that the trapdoor overhead, the ladder leading up to it, or the big door beside the ladder? Mem still havent gotten it to work i let it sit while enslaved by bandits for over an hour and nothig tried those console cheats and they didnt work just says "missing variable name in set command"

If I start a new save I can get as far as silverhome, but as I try to enetr, the game CTD's as it starts to load. Once in the port, talked, killed, went to Silver Vine Tavern to get next job and game CTD'd as it tried to load up the tavern Does this help any further? And is there anything I can do to get BU working again?

Dragenx: You do not need Lost Spires for ESP (I do not use it myself). That ESP is just if you have it and need the fix. heatherleoni: That sounds like an issue with Bravil Underground. I am on an older version of that but I will pop into Silverhome and see if the same happens to me. *Edit: Just had a wander in Silverhome and it is fine for me. I assume your Bravil Underground was working fine before PSE. I have not amended Silverhome in PSE (no edit showing in CK). Using the base interior model is the closest I get. Not sure what could be clashing. Although I am on a slightly older version I cannot imagine too much difference in Silverhome itself.*
Gaebrial Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Had a slight problem recently, possibly because of two PSE quests clashing. My character had spoken to Shifty Bert, and told him to get lost. That night, she slept in the All Saints Inn in the Temple District. When she awoke, a Perverted Burglar captured her, and had his wicked way with her a couple of times. Then, he promptly vanished, and I got the message about being passed on to a new owner. Only there wasn't any new owner, and my character couldn't move, or even look around - the camera was fixed, like when you are paralyzed. My character also had the 10k bounty from Bert, so I was wondering if there was some kind of conflict between those two sections of the Rough Streets script. I reloaded, and this time when my character slept, she got the message about somebody nearby chasing away an intruder. Only problem was, there wasn't anybody nearby. My character did have a 'follower', but he was resting in the Tiber Septim Hotel. With my character having rested and received the 10k bounty from Bert, I saved the game before she went outside to get arrested. She got arrested and abused by the guard, followed swiftly by a CTD as Oblivion proves once again that it can't handle the thought of guards carrying torches. When I reloaded my previous save, I found that my character no longer had the 10k bounty. I presume this is because it isn't a 'proper' bounty, as it doesn't appear as your 'highest bounty' statistic. Setting 'IchSQ02RoughStreets.ShiftyBert' to 5 sorted that out, and my character was free to be abused by the three Khajiit brothers from the Black Horse Courier for the next three days.

Something Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 At this rate there's gonna be more options available in the Settings spell than anything else also, is it just me or is the "minigame" just before Hello Sailor absurdly difficult? I dunno, but there's some problems i've been having. The Quicktime button presses* require me to be a bit too fast. Even worse is that the message warning me about the incoming quicktime events (I do think the warning was helpful) miscommunicated how the game worked. It told me to PRESS either I, O, or P, not hold them down. I died like 5 times (or rather, I reloaded 5 times) before I figured out how you're supposed to hold the buttons. Secondly when you have to hold down a different button i'm not sure whether or not you have to release the button you're already holding or not. I tried both methods numerous times and I always end up dropping the spoon. I can't tell whether or not I suck, there's a glitch that's causing the game to be unusually difficult or what, but I think it could be easier. A possible suggestion would be to change it from having to hold down the buttons to simply pressing them once, while making the button presses come more frequently. I don't know how the code works and i'm no programmer so I don't know how hard this would be but it's just a thought. Other than that it's a great mod i've had a lot of fun with. Also I have an idea for additional encounters: Benirus Manor's ghosts are lonely. So very lonely, and it's so hard to get some good help around the house when you're dead. The Imperial City Arena doesn't operate in the nighttime? That's what they want you to think. You've been invited to attend a sumptuous banquet at the Court of Mania/Dementia. Clothing optional. I expect those last two to be repeatable in a matter not un-similar to the Tea Party encounter.

It may be possible that one of those keys are being used by other mods. I have 'map marker overhaul' and it took me a while to realize that was the problem. If you are using LoversPayBandits- Just check the OP where it says: Gaebrial's ESPs There is a patch to help with that. In any case you do need to check your load order. I believe most folks are running PSE below LoverswPK.esp. Mem

Added those requests from two pages back. set DASanguine.CaroRefVAR to GetSelf is set DASanguine.CaroVAR to GetSelf as that is what PSE has as the variable name. Altmagr: Odd. With that command he should appear within a minute (just the time it takes to walk to you). Something: You do just need to press those keys for the code to pick them up (logically anyway ) but I just advise holding the relevant key for the duration of the message just to make sure Oblivion wakes up long enough to notice. Thank you for the ideas. Getting a bit of burn out at the moment, so could be a while before anything happens although I do want to do something in Shivering Isles.
Someone92 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I've noticed that you can still escape a submission (Willpower = 1) if you have some lockpicks left. Does submission currently only has the effect that no additional lockpicks are added to your inventory? Wouldn't it be easier to simply disable the "L" hotkey if you have no Willpower left?

The second one, either I REALLY suck at quicktime events or something's wrong, because I can never get past it. Your "possible future encounters" list in the OP is running rather low, Ichabod. I figure I could help with some inspiration. I have my own ideas regarding the Mania/Dementia encounters anyhow. The Mania banquet is more focused on sex (and possibly drugs if you wanna play with visual filters or something more creative) while the Dementia encounter uses devices, torture, and pillory sex a-la the torture scene in Sibling Rivalry to evoke some of the themes associated with either of the Isles' alignments.

There are a few places in some encounters where you can acquire lockpicks if your willpower has run out. Requires some searching, chatting, etc to get them. I want to keep the option of escape open if the player find their way out of a no willpower situation. Something: I shall add a second to the timer (Don't want to make it too easy ) for next release and see if that seems right for everyone. Possible future encounters has got a bit small as I do not want to promise something and then not deliver on it. Getting burned out a bit and running out of things to do that are not 'more of the same'. I may need to take a break to learn how to create new models, animations, monsters, etc. Definitely need to finish Home Sweet Home and I would like to do a heavy dialogue story (A Slave's Love). This is making escape impossible.You've been either enslaved by a very experienced slaver (e.g. one of the mobile slavers) or you set escape to impossible. Try setting it to normal or so and see if the problem continues. What does the "Food" setting exactly? The explanation you've given earlier made me none the wiser. The calculation for the enslavement chance seems to be bugged and greater than it is intended; I've set it to 0% and yet I was enslaved when I was hit while knocked down. WappyOne had a similar problem that all chances were by 1% too high, maybe you have the same error.

If running 'need to eat, etc.' mods, it makes sure you are fed about every 6 hours I think basically. @Meng Yi After Pell has finished the meal you can offer your service to him. In between the meal times and sleep time you can 'wait' without problems. Or test yourself at the ayliad device in the basement. To complete Lord Pells quest you must serve him quite a few times before he will release you. Mem

My question is, is there any possible way to run this mod without Shivering Isles, some sort of work around or something? I hate to pick up a game of the year copy of the game when the only reason I'm playing is for this mod. Thanks a lot.

There are no problems with getting enslaved (when I sleep outside a slave trader captures me) but after I am captured the slave trader keeps drawing and putting away his weapon, occasionally hitting me with the club, and treating me as a hostile. The same thing happens when I get enslaved in Cracked Wood Cave; once enslaved all of the other goblins keep attacking me. This also happens when I sleep inside a city, initiating the Hello Sailor quest, but the Choker man treats me as a hostile as well. Obviously, this makes quest progression impossible. I looked at the console while being attacked every time, and this was always there: Error in script 07095ab5Couldn't create eventlistError in script 07095ab5Could not create function context for function script With my load order attached, I hope this is enough information to spark something. Thank you for your time, as well as the time put into this mod!
