bannerlord [Mod]Bannerlord Mod: Captivity Events

Ok, I did a purge of all my mods and reinstalled them while pruning out some that bannerlord tweaks made obsolete. It works now newest version and I see the mod menu descriptions again.

For some reason whenever I go to the brothel and become a prostitute, it throws me in the dungeon when I try to leave? I get stuck in there for days until I get sold.

I checked Random Events again.  The only random events that fire is the deadman/omen, finding or losing gold or finding wine.  The event where you can bang malcontents in the army for an army morale boost no longer fires as a random event.

Never had that event, sounds like a custom event. And its 1 mod and 2 event mods, order only matters if you got custom events that are using the new module format.

Are you using any custom events that have their own leave option?

Bannerlord keeps crashing on startup, but I dont see the place to unblock dlls my computers properties doesnt have that. Is there a work around or another way I could do it?

BUG report:If NPC got capture and being pregnant in your team ,and birth in the jail,not just the "not on the list" error,now it will crash the game when you open the game wiki.

Ps:If pregnant prisoner escape,no "not on the list" error,but still if you check child's wiki ,Also will crash the game

Is there a new format for overwriting the base mod's DefaultCaptiveEventsFemale.xml file's events with custom ones? It's been a little while since I've written content for this mod and I'd like to have a fresh start on a new document where I can fully tailor the mod to a certain experience. I'd like to start by creating events that overwrite the default events, seeing as the document has <!-- RECOMMEND TO REPLACING THIS FILE WITH YOUR OWN EVENTS --> written across the top. How would I do this?

you take the file you'd overwrite and change stuff in it.

Make sure you remove the overwrite flag and keep the name the same if you are looking to overwrite default/required events move it to  another XML module.

i forgot to ask this ,but @BadListener your pic is from Witcher right? Yennefer right? I noticed in the captivity events too since she looks very much like her. I've been playing witcher games since the first one on my pc.

Yeah that's Yennefer...although I much prefer Triss as I have a thing for redheads as witness my account pic.  Now if only Bannerlord could get their dark red hair right..

I'm the same way I prefer red or blonde girls ,but i can't say that Yennefer is not a beautiful woman. I haven't seen a more beautiful woman in the witcher series though i haven't read the books so maybe there are others too ,but it's kind of sad that most if not all the prettier woman are witches. Makes it seem like only witches know of makeup and somehow that witch craft too

the problem i run into is that all of the enhancements for characters is causes crashes and if they're not updated often with the updates, it makes them unplayable unless you play offline.

sorceresses all use enchantments to look young and beautiful in the witcher world. because they are all physically deformed at birth. it's like a sign that they are touched with the ability to draw on the power and sources.

 

anyway. to bring us back. I took the folders out of the fomod like it said but what do you do with the remaining files in there? just leave them?

Yeah, just leave them there.

everything seems to be working fine, no crashes with the latest patch so far. though my 25 year old PC just gave birth to a healthy 36 year old baby XD

Hello, back with an idea/request/suggestion, i've scouted through CEEventsModal.xsd to make sure it's not implemented yet, and it doesn't seem to be : what about an event conscequence that gives an item from it's item string id?

 

that would allow from "oh i found a rusty axe" to complexe treasure hunts

Can I offer a suggestion for the captor events?  Allow female captors to rape male captives with the possibility of pregnancy.   Especially if Bannerlord ever implements claims...lol.  Let's say you get knocked up by Derthert of Vlandia...your bastard kid would get a claim on his fiefs and give you a reason to go to war with Vlandia..or better yet, put him on the throne.

 

His spouse would hate your guts though.  Maybe Derthert himself too.

hmm I tried 1.4.2 beta ,but i see nothing happening at all. I got myself captured and 60 days pasted .....still nothing seems like i'm permanently stuck as a prisoner. they stop by alot of cities and form large armies with no way to escape at all.
