There's now an event in the latest version of TBCaptivityEvents (0.1.11) which allows any captor to enslave you. It may be a little buggy as it doesn't use any of the SoldTo events. You can fire it while captured by looters or bandits using the console command (if you have console installed/enabled):

 

captivity.fire_event TB_slavery_enslaved_by_party

 

Otherwise it has a weight of 10, so it should fire about half as often or less than other events, but if you stay captured by bandits long enough it should trigger.

 

Some enslavement events (ex: marriage) require a notable to be your master, however, so those will not trigger if you are enslaved to looters or bandits.

hello. I am pretty new to bannerlord. I found this mod by accident, when I was looking to stop the prisoners from being auto bartered or escaping during wars. and this has been working wonderfully for that purpose.

 

however, I am not able to get the random captor events from triggering, I have several captive prisoners in my party, but  no events pop up while I am traveling the world. the only thing I can do is, during travel I can bring up the dialogue and get the option to impregnate prisoners. Is there something I need to do to get the captor events to trigger when the player is the captor? 

 

Or is the mod mostly focused on player perspective when the player is in AI captivity?

If you've installed the default mod and enabled "Default Captivity Events" in the mod tab of your bannerlord loader, you should be getting the following events as notifications on the right side of your screen if you have any captives:

 

You are bored, perhaps its time to call upon the hunting traditions?

Perhaps it's time to flay some men?

 

at the very least. 

 

If you don't see "Default Captivity Events" in the mod tab of your loader, the mod isn't installed correctly.

 

If you do but you still aren't seeing events, either:

 

a) you have the wrong version of CaptivityEvents installed for your game. Make sure you're using the right version for whichever (beta, stable, whatnot) version of bannerlord you have installed.

b) you have event chances set really low. Make sure in mod options that you set event frequency very high / time between events very low and event types to enabled.

 

In my experience all issues relating to events not loading stem from one of these causes, but I'm sure there will always be new reasons for something not to work. Such is entropy.

I am running 1.4.2 beta bannerlord. captivity event and related events, should be the latest respectively. captivity event is 1.4.2.1002.

 

I am playing male character as my main.

 

I am not sure if I installed the mod correctly, in game it says 1200 events loaded and 400 images loaded in the lower left hand corner.

I just tried waiting outside a settlement and waiting inside a castle, but still nothing triggers after setting the event chance to maximum and wait time to minimum. 

 

I tried getting captured by sneaking into an enemy settlement, and when I was captured and held as a captive, the captive events are triggering. So I am not sure why the captor events are not??

 

Then I started a female character to test, the random events of the player character as a captive fired up even before tutorial ended at the bandit camp.

 

 

any insight would be appreciated!

In that case it sounds like you have things installed correctly, but the default mod isn't activated. I'd guess that you just don't have any / many male captor or random events. There are a couple in the default folder from the base mod, but for example my mod literally doesn't have any because I simply don't play male characters.

This might have been asked before in this thread, but I'm not sure how to search for it here: Is there any development for this mod, or a similar mod, for sexual encounters outside of captivity settings?  For example, situations like between the player character and a spouse or a companion, or just a visitor to one of your towns/castles while you are there.  It would add to the immersion, as well as adding strategic options for increasing my number of heirs.

A number of the events in my set (TBCaptivityEvents) add encounters outside of captivity settings, but few of them consensual as you describe, and all but one of them written for female characters. For example:

- Pleasure your troops to increase their morale (triggers at low morale)

- Your troops may decide you don't have enough money to pay them and help you earn it with your body

- Your troops may decide to engage in some consensual role-play with you

- Your troops may object to you telling them to leave female prisoners alone and teach you the error of your ways (for which you can punish them) 

- Get kidnapped (in the wilds) by horny bandits

- Get drugged in a tavern and spend some time bound in the streets

- Lose a duel in town  and spend some time bound in the streets

- Chase a thief and either capture them or get ambushed (This one has a variant for male characters)

 

Once there's the ability to create random NPCs using outcomes some of these (particularly the thief one) will be usable to increase your number of heirs as a male character. All of them already can be used to increase the number of heirs as a female character (and, indeed, I find it challenging to keep my character from becoming pregnant on a regular basis with my events installed).

 

I'll look into adding more consensual random events, though at the moment I'm focused more on stabilizing / editing the 390+ish ones I have written.

Double check you DON'T have this set to 100%.

I suppose it's not intended that the extra skill points that come from event choices (mostly roguery, charm, leadership, one-handed) are causing the game to think that I have negative experience toward my next level in those skills and also making it so that the perks I choose for those skills never correctly stay assigned after closing the character window. Is there a way to make events give experience to skills (filtered through the normal attribute/focus system) rather than directly points?

Yes, currently will be fixed in the next version. You can fix the issue on your save game via console for now.

I do have a consequence called GiveXP and you can use that instead of ChangeSkill

Hm, I'd be happy to change my skill granting abilities to use that instead, makes more sense; how do you configure the skill GiveXP gives skill to? SkillToLevel? And how do you set the quantity of XP to give?

SkillToLevel the quantity is 50 always will add a new method soon, I anyways just fixed xp issue on leveling.

It seems like saving and reloading resets all xp values to 0 if they are negative, for what it's worth.

Got a problem.  My game version is 1.4.2

When I enter the game, it shows message ''error.reset pregnancy list'' something like that. I don't remember.

I try to type the console ''captivity.reset_status'',and it say failed.

When I try surrender the enemy, it crash. So I have no idea what happen.

All of a sudden in my current game (Ive been using CE pretty much for all 144 hours of my playthroughs with little to no issues.) Im gettign random crashes. I had to restart becuase my previous game was CTDing over some pregnancy issue.

 

On my latest game however im playing a male character and suddenly getting an error firing during the mao events that use the alert with the woman in the white dress (at least I think that is what the icon is) when better exceptions catches it it says "object not set to an instance of an object" as the problem with CE. Ive reinstalled CE to make sure no corrupted config files on my part.

 

the only changes ive made to my mods since it was working fine on my last game (this is stuff I added after restarting) were adding Distinguished Service, ATC, AI Values Life, Hellgard Rising (for ATC) updating Diplomacy Fixes, Improved Garrison and Workshop Income. Prior to adding/updating those the game ran just fine (im pretty sure the pregnancy bug was due to either Grow Up and Work, a fan fixed version of Pregnancy Control which has been removed or the fact that I just overloaded the game with children but now that game is also crashing on those captor events)

 

Im wondering if anyone else is using those any of those mods with CE and had a crash issue with map events, just in case someone can save me a few hours troubleshooting when i get home this evening.

 

Also sorry I dont have access atm to the game to post more detailed logs out of Better Exceptions.

I believe bannerlord tweaks and Grow Up and Work have a conflict. Honestly would not trust the default pregnancy system as it has various bugs I noticed, I am currently in process of extracting the HeroCreator.DeliverOffSpring Method so that the CE pregnancy system is completely separated from the default pregnancy system.

Yeah I was wondering if the original pregnancy crash was related to DCC and Grow Up, I have the box ticked to keep the models from aging and I noticed that at least some of the heroes who start under adult age are remaining in the child/teen body they started with after hitting adulthood. So I was wondering if it was an issue with one of the children becoming an adult but the model still being invisible for the infant.

 

I did a bit of testing to see what was causing the other crash it seems to be related to TB's events, they have been working for weeks but last night after updating the other mods etc it started crashing.

Hello , just a my stupid reminder .

Game's pregnancy system having a very weird bug .

If male/female not noble , then him/her child 100% will be a bugged child .

So I think bring teammate into event may not a very good idea right now .

Dont know anyone else bring that before or not.
