I have a good amount of different events happening and they have different variations. I have the base mod, events and holiday events in my game and it's running fine. I am on 1.3.10.103977 (one update behind the latest hotfix) due to seeing people having problems right after downloading the latest hotfix.

Turns out that despite deleting the old Captivity mod folders, the settings are obviously saved elsewhere (don't know where, still kinda new to Bannerlord modding) and I had disabled non-sexual events. Now the random bandits give events instead of taking me straight to the hideout, but nothing sexual still. Then I tried picking a fight with some villagers to get captured, and got a sexual event when they got back to their village. Some more messing about got a few sexual events to fire at a hideout and in a town, but while being moved around the map it feels there are no sexual events at all. Re-adding the other mods like BB and UTR did almost nothing, presumably because they need updating. Is it possible to get them to behave by simply going into a file and updating the version number or something?

If you are using a windows pc with onedrive the game will save information such as saves, settings and mod configs to C:\Users\(username)\OneDrive\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord. I don't know where it saves if you don't have onedrive, but probably in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord. The appdata folder is hidden so you have to enable showing hidden folders in windows explorer. Edited December 14, 2025 by that hurts wrong file path
that hurts Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Just found a bug where a baby isn't saved if it has the surname of the father meaning that loading the game at any point will delete them. Changing the name doesn't stop it from happening and the only way to avoid this is to reload your birth until you get a baby with no surname. I am playing with a female character so not sure if this also happens as a male.

This makes no sense if you give birth to a companions child because they don't have a clan or if you give birth far away from them because then they just teleport for no reason.

SexDwarf2250 Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 (edited) When I enable Hot Butter's "Hot Butter Scenes for Captivity Events" file, my character can no longer select a face without face paint or scarring, my parents in character creation have face paint, and so do many of the NPCs when I enter the town. It's all the same two patterns or so of face paint, too. This is on a fresh install. Anybody have a solution for this? Captivity is allowing for captured nobles to swear loyalty to you and serve under your banner. What it doesn't do is move them into your clan as a follower like before. Then after a day or so they return to their clan leaving your ranks. Is this something the game did to prevent reclassifying characters? btw I just manually switch them to my clan (which makes them family) Just curious if anyone else has noticed this and if the issue can or will be addressed in the future.

What's needed to be changed in events file to replace "companions" and "spouse" events for "concubine" and make them start events again. P.S. Sry for bad eng)))

I'm testing that now. Edit.. Hmm... no that doesn't seem to be t he problem. nevermind... I looked into it more and I think it's basically just that I'd forgotten how few events there are actually in CE default for captors, especially male captors, without the BC extension, which doesn't work on the current version. Having said that, I have noticed that the CE default event of a captive asking you for bread or something like that has never fired for me, even after massively increasing the custom probability in MCM, or the event where they want to join your clan (think it's called male_female2 and 3 something like that) - I'm not sure if there are some other specific requirements for those events but I've never seen them since War Sails. The only captor events I get are the random ones about unnamed captives (fighting or being sick etc.), and a few times had the events for a named captive where the clan offers a ransom, or the one where a captive offers to give information or something like that (not sure what information it's supposed to give though, assuming it's just flavor). I'd never used CE as a female captive before but tested it on a new run with other mods disabled just to see if it was working, and got essentially no sexual events there either, so I'm still kinda confused. Mostly just waiting for an update on BC now I think. I do really like all the default events, it's nice to have them fire when traveling would otherwise be very boring, and it's great to have some already made as naval-specific for War Sails, but they do get a bit repetitive on their own, and I kinda wish the events had more impact than just giving some gold or improving morale. Like I was surprised about the event where you're in a storm and if you don't have good enough naval-abilities you have to let a prisoner guide you or else take a morale hit (and maybe extra storm damage?) - I thought okay fine, I'll let the prisoner guide me one time, but then I noticed it doesn't have any negative consequences at all unless I'm missing something, so there's no reason not to pick it every time? Maybe I should just read the guide and have a go at writing some events - I think the whole CE framework is amazing and has so much potential, just wish it had more events variety, both SFW and NSFW

Or gaining recruits or prisoners... mostly the results are pretty fixed though. I agree that some variability in results would be nice, but it's hard to prioritize that kind of thing. I think I'm going to make an xslt transform to strip the removed flags, and convert skill/trait requirements/gains to the new format. It should be pretty simple, then I can just run it on the old event xmls.

Why not just paste the entire log file here? Anyways you have a mod that is using an old version of harmony or you have an old version of harmony installed somewhere on the system that wasn't removed properly.
