All(*) the animations I currently have are working. Not all are aligned though' date=' meaning the naughty bits might not be touching or even close to one another.

 

Of the 77 I've hooked up, I've checked about 25 for alignment. Sexout only 'advertised' about half of them, maybe a bit less.

 

The only two new ones I'm aware of from Donkey are the cazadore animation, and a new human animation for Dog + Human. I still need to plug both of these in; I think I can have that done tonight possibly. I also need to run through that thread start to finish to see any I've missed.

 

(*)There are a bunch more anims in the data pack that were never hooked up in sexout and aren't in mine either. Most of them are really dodgy non-sex things, but I have not sorted through them all yet.

There will still be misalignment with some of them in 0.0.8, the same ones as before. I just finished aligning four more, 801-804, which are the 'toy' ones (wrench, bottle, pipe, baton) and also getting the actual items used (they were missing). Those four will definitely be updated for alignment in 0.0.9. Hopefully more.

 

Doing the alignment is really tedious, so I get bored after doing 5-6 of them and work on something else. :)

Nope. =( Gotta start over from that version I released 3 days ago. I've been doing so much work too, I was just about to release a HUGE update. =( I'm sad now. Motivation over.

Man, that sucks. I know that feel though. Losing days of work because I didn't think to back it up... and that in turn sapping all motivation for any further work.

 

At least some of it might be easier since you've done it once before already? Silver linings, or something.

 

Edit: Oh, if Loogie's right, which I'm sure he is because he's Loogie, then your arse is saved, prkr. :D

It may be a setting you can disable, and I'm not at my modding computer right now, but either in NV's root directory or the data directory there's a directory called backup full of .bak files that are just renamed esps. It should stat what it's a backup of, but the date stamp in the file name is sometimes wrong; the date stamp in the file properties is always correct. The most recent .bak file should be your last save if it's working right. This is something I had to use frequently when Bromm and my Tryout updates were tripping over each other for awhile.

AHA! That was it! Thank you so much! I guess what I found in the data folder was an FNVEdit backup.

I'm good at tedious. It's what I do for a living, in fact. I may be able to help with this in the coming few days, as I'm off work for the holiday now and the "big day" isn't until Monday. Assuming of course I can figure out what the hell I'm doing (I am not a clever man).

I was about to feel completely guilty for not jacking the font up to 24point troglodyte flashing red, I'm glad it all worked out... *whew*

 

Jack, the 'work' is actually really easy. Take a look here and tell me if it makes sense to you. Try it out once or twice.

 

If you can get it playing the animation of your choosing (seriously, it's easy. No GECK required), pop back in and let me know, and I'll explain how to determine how much a particular animation needs adjusted.

 

It's easy, just tedious as hell.

So I'm playing with 3p sex for brutal rapers, and I'm noticing that ActorC does not get stripped. Not sure if you are aware of that bug or not. =)

 

edit: Actually it appears to be ActorA that isn't stipping, ever. my mistake

Oh also, use FOMM for chrissake!

 

It would've said "Hey, this is trying to overwrite SexoutRapers.esp! Do you want it to?!"

 

I'm about to roll it into an FOMOD so people have "no choice", or at least not an obvious one. ;)

Hmmmm it was stripping for me last time I tried it, but I may have broken something. I'll take a peek.

 

Hmm... I just tried it about four times, worked fine each time, though with myself (player) involved, I was invisible each time unless I toggled TFC. I think I'm going to do that automatically in the script, just wait half a second, toggle, another half second, toggle back.

For the curious, I tried just waiting to turn on tfc until 0.25, 0.5, and 1 second in and it didn't work.

 

I'm going to try actually toggling it now, as I think that's what the 'trick' is. Going to try turning it on right away (as it is now), turning it off 0.25s later, then back on another 0.25s later. Should be quick enough that when playing it won't look too... weird.

Okay, a few more things I'm noticing

 

1) When stalked, you are knocked down before raped, when I use SexoutNGBegin I now freeze in a half knocked down position and just float there, then after rape land face first, and never stand back up. =(

 

2)The toy animation doesn't seem to work for me at all, ActorA and ActorB are way far away from one another, facing different directions, and the toy is invisible.

 

3) All the dudes are humping my lady with limp wieners. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you aren't using body replaces now, so I assume that's the issue. What do I do to fix that? =)

 

4) Seems like a lot of the sound effects are missing

 

5) No more cumming effect?

 

 

Sorry, I'm only just now getting into your new stuff, so I'm being a bit of a pain. =)

 

Looks like it will be a huge improvement though, thanks!

 

edit: Here is the current WIP rapers mod I'm working on, if you want to see it in action. Keep in mind I'm in the middle of a lot of work on it, so it's buggy as hell, and a total mess...

I wish there was a way to just disable the char-turning-invisible thing in the first place. With Oblivion (and Lovers), you can play in 1st person or third, cramped places or not, and you almost never run into an issue like this.

 

Pride, I'm pretty sure you'll have to give the camera time to readjust (don't know if .25s is long enough), and if it gets "bumped" up against something when you toggle it you'll still have the invisibility problem. Sometimes it takes a good bit of camera-jiggling and zooming (for me) to solve the invis problem. I recommend giving it a go in a smallish, cluttered place (like the shop in Goodsprings) to see what happens.

Hmmmmm two different issues, or are you talking about switching Stalkers to use SexoutNG? If so, can you send me a copy of the ESP so I can take a look at what's going on?

Known issue. 2nd post, first page, I update with what's "fixed" in the upcoming (next) release, and this is one of them. There are a fair number of animations that aren't properly aligned right now.

I'm still trying to figure out how to address this. Personally I am using Breeze's male replacer with the 'default erect' body, so all naked dudes have stiffies -- even the dead ones.

 

I'm trying to figure out a solution that works with all body mods, for all players. Something "safe" you can do is use the core sexout body. This still has the problem that nude bodies for NPCs won't look the same during sex as they do when they're naked and not having sex, if you have a body replacer installed for NPCs.

 

SexoutNG supports this via the body(A,B,C) settings. It will equip the specified body before sex and remove it afterwards (unless you set bDontRedress(A,B,C) in which case it will leave the body on. Some sort of check for the player needs to be implemented here obviously.

No sounds should be missing, but yes, NG doesn't do the cum effect (yet). It also doesn't do any of the stuff to do with condoms or STDs. I want to move STDs into a separate ESP (that others can replace/modify/etc). Condoms I just haven't gotten around to implementing yet, and I'm not sure how I'm going to go about it.

This is perfect. I often lose track of / forget about features and bugs that I am meaning to get to. There's a lot of work here and I lose track of my TODO list quickly, that's why I'm trying to get one together on the first page, 2nd post. :)

I think I have it fixed. If I just wait to turn on the TFC initially for 1.5 seconds or so, it never turns me invisible. It's too bad that this is just long enough to notice and think something has gone wrong.. :(

 

0.0.9 will have that in as a tunable knob, but again, DAMN MCM SCRIPT TOO BIG so interested parties will have to set it manually. It will be "..019333".fTFCDelay and is a float, defaulting to 1.5.

 

wsex has a damn awesome camera too, it never has this problem. I may have to peek under the hood there for pointers. IIRC it even has a cool auto-orbiting one.
