u have always used cbbe and installed it same as always so idk how the raider female textures are messed up cause they should be the same body as i use for female.. at first when i say them i thought it was a clothing issue but when they got naked it was their body

I don't know much about CBBE. If it comes with a skin texture replacer, make sure you install replacement "dirty" (raider) skins if it gives you the option. If you install a separate skin replacer, make sure it includes CBBE-compatible dirty skins too.

u make ur own body and it applys to femalebody.nif which ALL female bodys in the game run off there is no specifics unless u have mods to seperate them which i dont have

I'm using both, although I admit I slightly modified the script of FutaFEV for my private use, to fix one thing I considered a bug at that time. I'm using FutaFEV for regular human females and strapons for Servitrons, so all kinds of kinks are covered should the sudden need arise lol.

Sorry, when I said I don't know much about CBBE, I meant I haven't installed it for a while since I've been using a different female body replacer (Fusion Girl). I do actually know what CBBE is and how it works generally.

 

Specifically, what I was trying to say is that I don't know if CBBE comes with dirty skin textures which you somehow missed installing/overwrote, or whether CBBE users are expected to download separate skin texture mods instead.

Yes, but there are two versions of female skin texture files the game needs: clean and dirty. Clean is what the player, settlers, and most townsfolk use. Dirty is what raiders use. If only the textures on female raider bodies look horked up, you're missing or have corrupted your dirty female skin texture files.

I have no idea whether CBBE comes with skin texture files, someone more familiar with CBBE will hopefully chime in with more precise recommendations.

CBBE includes textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale\FemaleBodydirty_d.dds

 

So if raiders are messed up in a CBBE game, it's probably some other mod which has overriden CBBE in some way.

Hey yall, Im sure this has been asked and answered a million times. But ive tried the install process of the Fuxking Manual twice now with no success. I follow the instructions to a T. but my game is still all wacked out. The Penis's are either flaccid or extremely deformed and most animations have no sound. Im using Bodytlk and CBBE as well as the "UAP" patch. Does anyone have any suggestion?

You missed one: The instruction that says to ask for assistance in the help channels of the AAF Discord if you run into problems. ? You'll get much more accurate and timely answers there than you will here.

This is usually an indication that you built the male body in BodySlide with the erection slider at 100 instead of 0, or that you have something overwriting the ZeX skeleton that BodyTalk uses.

Lots of the available animation packs don't come with sound, so that may not be an indication something is wrong. Also, while I don't use UAP, I gather it has some options for sound replacement so you might want to double-check those when (re)installing it.

I don't patch my animations at all (other than Tentacus's Staged Leito Plus because it's a requirement for TSEX/Hardship). Some people do use Indarello's Patch for Animations instead of Ulfberto's UAP though.

quick PSA here (hopefully this isn't mentioned in the guide, otherwise i'm gonna feel *really* stupid when someone comments that it is):

 

Crazy's Four-Play Animations has a checkbox in the Ultimate AAF Patch fomod. but, as you'll probably notice, if you have this pack installed/enabled that checkbox still won't appear detected/checked by the fomod. this was happening to me and, assuming it was just an oversight, i was checking that box when installing UAP and after some trial and error i realized checking that box was causing my game to freeze and CTD during load-in.

 

i have the correct Crazy's Four-Play pack and i have it placed appropriately in the load order so i'm not sure why the UAP fomod isn't picking it up as the right mod. anyway, if you're crashing during initial load-in from main menu, it's UAP and it's because you checked Crazy's Four-Play Animations.

 

PS - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GUIDE. like, really.

 

EDIT: One of the additional plugins added by the checkboxes on the last page of the fomod was giving me the same CTD. beware.

Sure.  AB is a variant of CBBE so it works fine.  But if you go big on curves/breasts, you will get some clipping during animations because the hand and body placement is not dynamically created.

If you picked a large-breasted collision sphere size, you might try reducing it to see if that helps. Basically as soon as another object like a body part intersects the invisible collision sphere for a breast, the physics engine tries to move that breast out of its way. The larger the sphere, the more that happens. If something is going right through the middle of the sphere such that there's no physical way to keep them from intersecting, then it will flip the breast around randomly trying to solve the problem.

 

I ended up switching back to OCBP because, while the collision spheres idea is nice in theory, the engine can't really accommodate the non-spherical shape of a breast and makes sex animations with non-keyframe-based physics look worse to me rather than better.

Sounds like something interfering with the UI more generally. Hardship uses the game engine's MessageBox constructs, while AAF has custom Flash interface files.

 

Make sure you have Buffout 4 installed and working (check your f4se.log for an indication the Buffout 4 DLL is successfully loading) since it expands the Flash memory buffers used for the UI elements and can address bugs related to UI overload.

 

Other things that might interfere are problems with HUDFramework or FallUI, or anything else that messes with the UI. Also make sure you test from a fresh game start or a previously unmodded save to make sure there's no problem with your current saves that something disabled parts of the UI.

Hi, I'm playing with a female character, with CBBE, improved skin textures (Improved Skin Texture For CBBE at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)) , sexy groomed bush (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14143), Body Talk, AAF, following the installation instructions in the first post, but after installing Dirty Sex, something weird is happening, and when playing any animation (female masturbation lying from Atomic Lust, for example), the body changes to female. I've uninstalled those mods, but it still happens. It only happens on AAF animations, when going nude, the expected nude body is shown.
