What's initiating the AAF scenes? When installing AAF, what compatibility level did you select in its FOMOD menu for stripping mod-added clothing? Have you perhaps edited or deleted the default AAF_equipmentSetData.xml file provided by AAF? Hi, I'm sorry for late reply, I was busy in real life, but I did read your reply and it gave me couple of ideas, but unfortunately I was unable to load my last save, so I figured I have a bigger problem with the mods I installed than just broken sex animations. I do appreciate your effort to help me and I took your questions as hints for things I should double check, so thank you for that, especially for the AAF installator part, because while I remembered things I installed just recently, I couldn't recall what options I chose in each and every installator which I used some longer time ago, so I decided to go through the whole mod list again which was not fun at all (hundreds of mods lol) and it took me a while, but I think so far it was worth it. Sadly, some new issues showed up, but at least this time the animations seem ok so far, although I checked them very briefly, and I'm shaping the game more into what I originally envisioned with less bloat as I ditched couple of redundant and most likely faulty mods while at it. If I run into this or other problems again, I'll report back, thank you very much again! ❤
m_o_t Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Okay. And how to control animation? or rather, how to switch stages of one animation and bring it to a climax?

Sex animations in Fallout 4 are generally not that sophisticated, you may need to adjust your expectations somewhat. Many of the animation packs do include sequential animations which follow a logical progression, so if you switch positions with the PgDn key then you can advance to later stages of that series of animations. Some animation patches sequence staged animations together or put them into "position trees" that can be controlled with the arrow keys to advance or make branching choices, but those animation patches also generally make opinionated decisions about what animations they support and may hide many animations which don't fit with their view of a cohesive collection of positions. 1
Mepp Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I literally was trying to get everything to work for multiple days, following this guide, ended up uninstalling and reinstalling fallout multiple times to get rid of mods etc. again, at that time I was using vortex, I decided to switch to MO2 so I can follow this guide to every minute detail. Worked immediately. Even having added so many more mods, still just works. Not a single crash, fucked up animation or anything even remotely close. TLDR; Follow this guide exactly, I recommend using MO2 and it will work. Thanks a lot to everyone who contributed to this post, by either making the mods or troubleshooting etc. would have never actually been able to set ANYTHING up except maybe normal gameplay mods without this guide.

I'm using Vortex, it works for me, but the game does crash time to time, although the game can crash even in vanilla state, so I kinda learned to live with that potential risk and therefore I try to save often. As for the mods in the guide, it's very important to not try to install everything, because some mods can't be used with others. It's always a matter of personal preferences, you have to check out every mod description to see if it's something you would like in your game and if it is, stick to it and don't try to install mods that would have conflict with it. Guest Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 does a mod exist that manages AAF's equip/unequip so i can decide what it removes and what it doesn't?

mrjayaur Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Hello. Can someone help me understand why none of the animations I use feature any sort of physics despite having the proper mods installed to enable physics throughout the game, on my own character and on NPCs? Also, what's the most up-to-date "heterosexual" animation pack that features physics?

I always have jiggling boobs and butts, but vagina is not always opening, I figured the latter depends on animation itself, while jiggling boobs and butts are part of the physics preset. As for the opening vagina part, I'd also like to know if it's possible to enable it for all of the relevant animations and if yes, how... For now, you may try to scroll through the available animations in your AAF menu itself to see which animations are actually using the physics you like and which aren't and maybe start troubleshooting from there. I didn't find this particular little detail much of an issue, because I had bigger problems to deal with first, like frequent game crashes, etc.

Jiggling boobs and butt (and thighs, and balls) may be handled by your body physics library and skeleton, or may be baked into the animation itself if the author used keyframe physics. Which animations do what tends to vary by author and the time at which they were created. Some authors still prefer keyframe physics since they can get more precise and consistent movements by handling the physics themselves instead of falling back on the less reliable autocalculated body physics in the game.

Which animations do you know of that work with ZeX Skeleton and OCBPC Physics? I haven't found any. Which ones add the "keyframe physics", because I haven't encountered that either.

I just throw about a dozen different animation packs in and let AAF choose appropriate scenes at random when a mod needs to play an animation. 2

I think it would be best to start AAF scene manually through AAF menu itself, because that should give all animations, not just a limited subset of animations from the list depending on the kind of scene requested by the mod. This way it would be possible to check all animations and who knows, maybe there's another hidden issue which prevents physics, but it's a start. I guess some of the most popular animations should include said "keyframe physics", but there's no other way to find out than trying them all lol
sadmore92 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Is there a fiver equivalent that would let me pay someone to fix my fucking useless shitty mod list? Why is it that every single time I come back to a Bethesda Game and just want to have a shit load of mods it takes hours and hours to get them to all play nice? Shit is just exhausting... 1

I know what you mean. I thought I finally managed to fix my own mod list, but nope. Yesterday I came to Corvega for that quest to kill the raiders and what I see? Missing wall textures of the exterior part of the building (when I saw it, I didn't even bother to go inside, I was just pissed I just closed the game and went to sleep). Probably something to do with PRP mod conflict, but I have no effing clue what it might be, nor how to fix it... -_- Edited April 10, 2023 by MrFuturehope
Bloodrager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I somehow broke my AAF. Had multiple bugs hit me at once from other mods and reinstalled some of the the base mods like F4SE, Buffout, etc and then it stopped working. Family Planner was giving me an error but I got that resolved by redownloading MCM and installing that. For some reason these basic mods weren't listed on MO2 and must have all been wiped. I had switched from Vortex in the past and loaded up Vortex trying to fix the multiple bugs and I think that ended up knocking AAF offline. I've trouble shot as best as I can. Running debug mode doesn't seem to cooperate but I get the teleporting naked men whenever I hit home, this happens with AAF so I know it's in there somewhere and have reinstalled the entire suite more than once. Sometimes when I hit home I get a black screen with a loading wheel. I noticed that the amazing follower twerks and sex attributes aren't working either when I try to assign followers to settlements that window doesn't pop up nor does the window that goes over my mental attributes. Since those and AAF use custom boxes to appear I have to assume it's the same bug. Any ideas what's causing custom screens to not appear in game?
jdkzombie Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Can someone point me in the right direction to getting actual stiff dicks during AAF animations? Awfully ridiculous to hear my chick making all the feel good noises but you pan the camera around and there aint nothing in her because homies dick is about as flaccid as a boiled spaghetti noodle.
sen4mi Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) Here's a small issue: Quote 16º [AAF] FO4 Animations by Leito v2.1b (Make sure to NOT get the version 1.4c and also do NOT install any of the patches listed as required on the download page). Currently the only requirement listed on that download page is AAF. (Which [presumably] is not a "patch".) Frustrating, though: the manual very specifically states the order we should install things, and then for step #10..28 shows an image which very clearly shows that we should not have those mods in that order. But with no accompanying rationale or description to make sense of the differences. Here seems to be some of the important "install order" bits: Bodytalk needs to override Bodyslide. Zazout4 needs to be overridden by ultimate aaf patch and by torture devices. Actually, a whole bunch of stuff (including AAF itself) needs to be overridden by ultimate aaf patch. Custom Moans apparently needs to be overridden by Atomic Lust. Savage Cabbage apparently needs to override BP70 (and, of course, both need to be overridden by UAP) Rufgt's Animations v1.0 apparently needs to override Atomic Lust Staged Leito needs to override a bunch of mods (including UAP) NSFWsoundpack needs to override UAP. (And presumably this is all version specific. If someone has the tenacity and insight to upgrade UAP and make the result work, some of this might change. For example.) And then there's *another* (not really complete) installation process (steps 1..9) which follows the image... Edited April 11, 2023 by sen4mi extract information about some thing that seem to matter for install order 1
Guest Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 how do i fix it to where i can use "Home" to access the aaf menu while in violation scene... it worked previously but since i rebuilt game due to broken fast travel it nolonger works AAF works as intended outside of violate scenes
Guest Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 i also just noticed female raiders have messed up body textures where half the game is broken when ur not changing anything just rebuilding the game

This has nothing to do with Violate though.
Battletooth Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Is it possible to change vioxis strapon to example use futafev futa penis for F/F animations and how? or just other than strapon, im trying to figure it out.

Probably not. FutaFEV is scripted penis for females which is working out of the box - flaccid, erected states automatically working as intended, strapon is only an armor for which to work you need to use No-strip manager to set it as an item allowed to be worn during sex scenes. 1

Ok. Thanks, FutaFEV is just bit bugged, i had it on my mod list, but im playing without it now. And removing vioxis from plugin list and using only futafev "as replacer" isnt best solution for what i trying to achieve. Well not big issue. Just thought perhaps i can make some modifications to just use its mesh and textures and then "replace" vioxis strapon, i think it should be possible, but im really beginner modder.
