To NMM Community Edition users. It may list the mod as Companion Ivy 5.0 when you add it, like it did on mine.

 

 

Update 4 Hours later: I should have also said to change the name to Companion Ivy 5.3 (You can add With or Without Porn Mags Addon for which ever one you downloaded).

I don't know if you can do it yet with 5.3, but equipping her with a different weapon can tamp down her damage a bit. I find that with her default weapon, she is very powerful until lvl 50-60 (with my survival++ mod list anyway). Only problem is that she will sometimes go back to her default weapon. I know with 5, 5.1 she was okay with assault rifles.

hi there,

im using DE client and i might miss something out. Ivy wants a secondary backup processor. she repeats it all the time. can anyone tell me what that means? i browsed any items and theres no such item naming.

while im using de client i wish there was a walkthrough to browse for minor stoppers like this. in that case spoilers are ok for me.

 

mod working flawless so far. her dialogs are really nice. thanks for this awesome mod

 

edit, re read the Processing Power mentioning, so its a quest but i don't have a quest entry in my log. how am i suppose to get one when i don't even know where to find one?

Just wait and be patient. Play on and forget about it for a (long) while. Much later, after she has asked many times, something will happen with it.

been playing Ivy with AAF for a while now everything seem ok to me, no conflict or some thing strange happen by far.

but sometime she teleport or run pass front of me and get few shots(sometime alot).

so i wonder,

1.is it effect the affinity?

2.if it have. there is a way to check ivy affinity?   "getav_ca affinity" not work with her somehow.

Nope. Ivy's affinity is only affected by dialogue choices.

Don't know if this has been mentioned/noticed already but upon collecting the 'Escapades' magazine it gave me the perk for 'Sex Fix' instead. It was a quick fix with console commands but so far I haven't experienced this with the other magazines I've collected. It could be that other magazines also point to the wrong perk.

 

Also I've noticed that even when I'm in a settlement, Ivy still acts as if the area is dangerous and refuses to talk about the magazines sometimes. No idea what's causing this or how to fix it reliably other than trying again until it works.

Noticed the last glitch as well. @kchurchjr will die of hearing about a 'bug' with the magazines.

That last glitch can be solved by setting a global:

SET _ivy_Mags_EnemyNearby TO 0

Before picking up the magazine. Will be fixed in an update that will come very soon with some minor bug fixes after feedback on 5.3.

It will break underlying topic and fragment scripts, which will in turn break things in Ivy's quests and affinity. It will also not display the correct text so the menu structure will be obscure and difficult to navigate.

I actually will, and I'm going to think about grabbing RR basement mod too, need to have somewhere for Ivy to rest when she's not travelling by my side after all.

 

Either play Ivy with Configurable New Dialog English version or Full Dialog Interface, which it was @kchurchjr that told me that either one will work with Ivy, or use the vanilla system. I've known that XDI will NEVER work with Ivy way back in the 4 point whatever version of Insane Ivy. And if you can't go without using XDI, then don't bother with getting Ivy at all.

 

Here is something for everyone, hold CTRL + F on any page of this thread, and in that search box type in XDI, you'll find out how many times people say NO XDI!

First of all, I'd like to thank you for the great mod. I'm now playing with her and leaving aside all this porno, the mod is simply great, very well integrated, lore friendly, a lot of humor, a lot of options, professional voicing, interesting plot etc etc etc. In my opinion, the quality of this companion is even higher than the original companions. Even Ellen, who is on par with Bethesda's NPCs is now resting in one of the settlements. 

 

Now, the first bug that I've encountered is: Ivy Creation Log --> Surgery Image 28a --> CRASH

Then, NX-2C Controller Holotape -->--> HyperCombat Configuration --> Disable  and Enable HyperCombat Attacks should be switched

 

To add, I have already completed the main quest visiting her AI and learning her story. Great! By the way, when will she get her normal voice? :)))

 

Also, I'm using the Full Dialogue, hope it's fine in view of the above discussion of XDI. Is it possible to see her affinity progress somewhere? I have the Visible Companion Affinity for other companions. The last question for today regarding Liga of My Companions. I'm using this mod instead of AFT. Any problems expected?

 

I don't use AAF, by the way, and I'm not interested in all this stuff. But I see sometimes the visual glitches like with Mercy's dress crumpled with her body.  Does it relate?

Thank for the kind words and feedback! I'll take a look. Something finnicky happened while packing 5.3 with some textures which I'm looking into, with Ivy's dresses. An update (5.4) is almost ready for release but will be a pure bug-fix release.

It will fix 2 minor bugs in 5.3, it's just a very small patch. You can jump into 5.3, then just overwrite when 5.4 comes out.
