ntesterrr52 Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Hey, Does anybody know if lately progress was made with the invisible AnimObjects issue in VR?

Hello ^^ I suggered a way to solve this issue, but i don't know if someone tried to work on it. Another way to solve it is to go back to the clone way from the begining of this VR patch. Indeed, with the clone way, our char was used as an NPC, and like i said before, NPCs don't have this anim object issue. So, 2 ways for now to solve it: 1. Move all objects from pll layer to the npc layer 2. Use a clone of our char for animations For now, Baka animations with creatures and objects works very fine, i suspect baka only use object on npc layer
archangel110124 Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 (edited) Problem: NO MCM FOR SEXLAB WITH PATCH So im having an issue with the patch. When i disable it. I get the MCM for sexlab, but when i enable the patch, the MCM does not show and i get ERROR: Unable to bind script sslConfigMenu to SexLabConfigurationMenu (06079840) because their base types do not match in the pap log. what what should i do here to fix it? been struggling trying to figure this out and i will dispair if it is something easy. I do have papyrus (vr). Papyrus.0.log Edit: *Semi-Fixed*. I would like to ask the owner of the thread to put the appropriate link to sexlab framework version on the first page or the file itself. The file that comes from the official sexlab framework does not work with patch here. Edit1: the fix was an older sexlab (I think) and now aroused and eager npcs do not show in MCM. At least i can see sexlab now. Anyone help me out? Edit 2: So, I was stupid. Nothing wrong with the patch. I had a mod installed from this thread call SLSO 1.6.5 - Select NPC for MCM patch. Not really sure where from, but there was a link here on this thread that I thought i would help. Getting rid of it helped. Thanks for the wonderful mod!!!! Edited May 26, 2022 by archangel110124

Grebemsmec Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Not exactly sure were to post this, but I have an issue where when the scene starts, the player and actor get teleported and displaced. (skyrimVR btw) If I activate the scene outdoors, I get teleported into the sky, and if I do it indoors I get teleported underground or to the side of the building. The scene plays out normally, with all the animations, but the actors are not lined up. I'mm using sexlabFrameworkSE_v163_Beta8 with the SL VRpatch Beta 8 38 loaded before, (vortex says the patch is redundant, not sure why) along with the most recent VRIK version. FNIS is also working as it should. I have tried activating scenes in different locations and with different npc's and tried to fix it by using the rebuild and clean option in sexlab. I also tried tinkering with various settings within SL, but nothing has worked.

That's probably why it is telling you the patch is redundant, just change the order and you should be fine. I guess you were also not seeing any VR settings in SexLab MCM?

Quote - Make sure you have the latest VR version of papyrus utils intalled after Sexlab! Sexlab comes with regular papyrus utils, which will NOT work. You may also want to check if all of your other installed mods are compatible with VR, or have a separate VR version available. https://www.loverslab.com/topic/167327-skyrimvr-compatibility-tracking-12721/

If the game crashes after loading your save there's a different issue.
TypsyGypsy Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've been trying for a while to get sexlab scenes to handle more like VAM pov scenes. For those who don't know that means the players camera is essentially locked to the player model's head, perhaps with a tiny amount of rotation allowed. It can be a bit nauseating at first but hell is it immersive! Trouble is all I've managed to find in the settings for VRIK and sexlab is the lock camera to head height which is not quite enough, for instance a missionary scene starts and I'm looking forward through my own ribcage. Is anyone aware of how this can be done? can this be done? have I just not tried the correct combination of settings? any answers appreciated.
awire Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 I am very new to modding, but this VR patch makes such a good use of the vrik settings... I was thinking if maybe it would be possible to inject script into every custom animation to make an overall animation patch like this one here for sexlab. The immersion with custom mods is horrible as soon as they make the player do an animation as they break and you watch from above. I'd love to loose control in this moment and just watch from my characters perspective (maybe add the free hand options too). Is there maybe an event for this ? Or is this something one could only achieve through a patcher ?
RappyRed2k Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 I assume there's not much demand for SL VR stuff sadly, I would've loved to see a way to get SL VR to work with the PLANCK VR mod as they're currently incompatible with how PLANCK overhauls the NPC physics engine.

Can you elaborate? whenever I try SL VR with PLANCK, during an animation the partner gets launched into space and in a typical ragdoll fashion deforms in many ways, are you saying you managed to properly get PLANCK working with an animation? if so, I'd be happy if you were to tell me what steps you took to get it functioning. in my case I use VRIK, HIGGS, and PLANCK along with the SL and VR patch stuff

Planck works very well even if characters have difficulties to get into their animation position sometimes. But yes it makes the SL interactive ! So i wouldnt want to deactivate planck during those ! maybe for npc/npc ones.

PLANCK doesn't use a skeleton base or something like XPMSSE as a dependency I think, if possible, can you tell me if you changed any sort of config settings for PLANCK? or whether you left the config file alone? I haven't figured out how to sort it out with SLVR there is only a solution for Flower girls (from what I've seen) so far.

V0.2.4 Thank you, I put some effort into dwindling down causes now that I knew that it is actually possible to get them to work together, and I found a solution. It was as simple as rechecking Disable scaling/CTD Fix over at the SL MCM menu, I unchecked it ages ago and didn't think it'd have any impact and would just allow me to properly scale actors in scenes, this was the source of my problems. So, if anyone in the future might somehow stumble upon this thread checking for a fix for PLANCK and SL VR animations hopefully this'll solve your problem as well

Criox Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 For some reason, i install sexlab framework and this patch (following the guide) and then i load into skyrim vr, but about a minute in, a prompt that says "Outdated or Invalid installation" I bought skyrim vr from steam, and I believe I'm using the right framework. The prompt said I need a 1.6 something version but I uninstalled cause i just wanted to play the game. I also believe I'm updated to the most recent version.
knobbledknee Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Bit of a weird one but my meagre modding skills just can't figure out what the problem is. There's a VR patch for Touring Carriages but it doesn't play nice with the Sexlab Patch. With the Sexlab patch installed it seems to overwrite any fixes and you still stay in one place with a spinny camera when you get on a cart. Older versions of the Sexlab patch don't have this problem but they pop you out into third person for animations so I think it's something to do with the Touring Carriages patch disabling Higgs and Vrik, or the Sexlab patch effecting carriages somehow. I've looked at the code but my eyes bled and brain melted as it's not even slightly my forte.
Criox Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 So it worked for one occasion, then it just suddenly stopped working... I don't know why and I'm sure it's the load order or something but when it stopped working again, I never touched the load order.

We're talking about similar issues on this thread (goto current last page) - If you have managed to the SL installed (my initial issue was dependences .. namely papryusutil.dll wasn't being found) - then you should also initiate a clean and rebuild. I would assume that your SL install is installed correctly and that you're seeing a VR section at the top of the menu in SL? Also don't use latest versions - need to be very specific on versions which below tutorial helps with. - I've listed my own versions on that thread that I'm using and is currently working well and have even installed latest version of Planck which appears compatible with SL VR now.
