Netimmerse Override for SSE?

basically ive been looking around the internet and ive been trying to find netimmerse for skyrim special edition and ive come up blank. ive found topics about it being in racemenu but racemenu does nothing to fix my problem. i could really use some help

well, a mod requiring netimmerse still doesn’t work even when i have racemenu installed

What mod? Can you put a link, please? Have you read the support forum of the mod?

Are you make the conversion manually or the mod is already published in SE format.

i am using devious devices: 

specifically the expansion. i have read the support and there is nothing describing my issue.

and no. this mod runs with sse

Have the same problem. It's the slave boots, and the shock boots/cursed slave boots that won't equip giving the message (see screenshot). I tryed 4.09 and 4.10 now .. I beleave the problem came up with 4.07 or so.. not sure.

im having the same problems where its saying netimmerse override is not install

    I had it working but when I updated my mods im back to the same issue and I cant remember how to fix it

You may need to delete a lose file called NiOverride.pex that may appear in the data folder. 

Possibly none of this works.

Tho that is the link to the se version of the thing that is requested. a few months late but there we are.

Download and install RaceMenu, but don't activate RaceMenu. NetImmerseOverride are scripts.

Hey I tried downloading Racemenu without activating it and it says netimmerse override is missing so one of my mods won't work. Even when activating the mod and unchecking the plugins it still doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

The person above more often than not doesn't know what he is talking about. NiOverride is not SCRIPTS. The NiOverride.pex and NiOverride.psc files are just Papyrus declarations (not definitions) so the VM knows the signature of those functions (name, parameters, return type) and that they are native (native code, in this case, from a SKSE plugin).

You need the nioverride.dll SKSE plugin because that's where the whole thing is defined and the overlay meshes.

This comes with the .dll SKSE plugin, the pex and psc Papyrus declarations and the overlay meshes (and its default/dummy texture).

You should ask the author how to query the presence of NetImmerse Override.
Since there is no Esp for NetImmerse Override, RaceMenu.esp may be checked.
It is certain that the mod does not access the DLL directly, only scripts. The scripts can also be downloaded separately (Modders Package).

Instal RaceMenu / dont activate esp / copy file from oldrim [LE] NiOverride.pex put this into data/scripts/ - done. Now even ECE can use it.

Racemenu SE contains NetImmerse override - why do you want to avoid Racemenu?  (Racemenu VR solves the DD boots problem for VR too)

There are people who prefer to use CME instead of Racemenu. The question is, why are you livening up that old dead thread?

Because I only just discovered that Racemenu SE solved this problem in VR, snd this thread came up when I was Googling for answers. So, I figured others might find it too. 

Thanks for the CME answer. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but couldn't you design your character with ECE, and then activate Racemenu just for the boots? Or would that stuff up your character?

I created my character (see my profile picture) with ECE. And I use Racemenu - not ECE.
For creating faces, ECE is still better (from my point of view). But no one is stopping you from using this character with Racemenu.

 

PS: In my previous answer there is a typo. ECE, not CME
