pandaling Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I've run into an issue. I got my first kidnapped quest in whiterun to save someone. As soon as I exit whiterun I got the notification that I found the hideout, kill the kidnappers and free the victim. Then whiterun guards started attacking me. I found a patch that fixed that, but then instead, the kidnapped npc, saffir, was just strolling up the road, naked. I talk to her, finish the quest. Shrugged it off and went to riverwood. Apparently Saffir decided to get dressed and follow me. I couldn't get rid of her, no dialog options. I went back a few saves, same thing. This time i didnt talk to her and she walked back into whiterun.

I cannot figure out if this is a Vinfamy issue when he made the mod or a conversion issue when converted to SSE but so far all kidnappers spawn right on top of me and gives me no time to react before I am struck. It is even worse if there is a magic user in the group to hit me with a lightning bolt with no chance to dodge. Is there a setting or a patch I missed that has enemies spawn at a distance?

I escaped a kidnapping scenario by running away (Necromancers from Fellglow), and even though I'm all the way in Whiterun, I'm still getting messages like I'm involved in a gangbang. It also seems like I'm getting Devious Devices added to me even though I'm still in Whiterun. At least a chastity belt and chastity bra (neither of which show up on my character, but are in my inventory and can't be removed), as well as a vaginal plug. Is there a console command I can use or something? The kidnapping scenario was fun and surprising, but I think that if I run away I should get away. Also, my follower had the same behaviour as Wicken's follower - idling around and cheering all the raping - at least until she got into a fight with the Necromancers and got butchered.

Also, my follower had the same behaviour as Wicken's follower - idling around and cheering all the raping - at least until she got into a fight with the Necromancers and got butchered. i have similar issues... on top of the occasional ctd. in ur case i think the event is not designed that u walk away... u have to kill the leader and after that u get the option to be spawned to ur original kidnap spot. i did not test that enough tho. another possibility is that u simply wait for the rape to end and hopefully u get spawned to ur capture spot with the revenge mission. in any case this is a script heavy mod that allows the player to break the script in to many places i think. my 2 main problems right are ctds after i get teleported or the kidnappers still have aggro on me after i get teleported.
no_way Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Am I missing something or does this mod have a rather unsatisfying mechanic? So I get ambushed, I lose/get hit, I get teleported to some random location inhabited by the faction I lost to, the nearby ones gang rape me and my companion and steal my shit. But then I just get up and am free to go. No "escaping" per say beyond just walking out the front door, as after the gangbang they're all non-aggressive. Is this normal or is there supposed to be an escape mechanic?

DocClox Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 I love some of the "war stories" this mod generates. Here's one of mine. I asked about kidnappings and was told that Faralda had been abducted. Keen to see our haughty altmer master destruction trainer taken down a peg or two, I set off to investigate. The scene seemed to have fixed on a point just outside Winterhold on the Windhelm Road. She was apparently being raped by three imperial solders. And a couple of Sabercats. And an Ice Wraith. I wasn't equipped to take on all that lot, so I settled for hiding in the rocks and conjuring flame atronachs. Eventually the fuss died down and I investigated, only to find one of the Winterhold guards and the Orc from Dawnguard, both naked and staring at a cowering Faralda. Faralda, for her part, was hostile and unresponsive. I decided to chalk this one up as a reality dysfunction and reloaded. Second time, Faralda turned out to be inside Snow Veil Sanctum. Umm... sorry babe, but you're going to have to wait until I join the thieves guild. So I set off again on my journey, only occasionally being distracted by notifications saying things like "Faralda is being impregnated by Draugr Deathlord". Sorry about that, love. I expect there's a morning after spell you can cast, or something? She was still in that damn barrow when I got back from Muzlft. Of course, that's when you get the quest to protect the town from the magic anomalies. And since Faralda is supposed to be there, the quest pulled her out of the barrow and onto the College Bridge. Where she promptly cowered and refused to join in the games. Great. So my best offensive mage is in shock and I have nasties overrunning the town. Just great. I managed to deal with the anomalies by my mage's signature method of running away and summoning something whenever possible. Eventually they all died and I walked back over the bridge where I could now talk to Faralda. "I'm here to rescue you" I said. "Thank goodness" she replies. Then I walk five yards to the college gates. "This is a safe place" I tell her, and she's so relieved she has sex with my character. So: glitchy as hell, but in a fun way. That said, since installing it, I started getting infinite loading screens. I had to junk the character that recused Faralda, and then the next one gt kidnapped at level 5, after which the infinite loading was back. So I sadly uninstalled the mod. 1
WhatRules Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Made a testing run and had a lot of issues with this mod. I was spawned in a dungeon with some Falmers, two Bandits and a Giant Spider. When the animation is about to start they all go hostile, so I had to disable combat in the console. When the two bandits are done I'm getting the revenge quest, before the Falmers and spider had a chance to act, then they go hostile again and attack me, so I just used the killall command. But the guy with the quest marker is essential and can't die, so how am I supposed to get my stuff back? What happened to getting released outside the dungeon? I should mention that I'm playing with Requiem and OBIS that make changes to factions, and I don't know if they are compatible.
jacecar Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 I pulled a stupid and enslaved (PAHE) the person I was supposed to rescue before escorting them back to a safe place. Now, I have "Kidnapped: Rescue Mission" forever in my quest log and I can't figure out the stages to force end it or abandon it. Do I need to reload a previous save and "undo" my mistake? Or is there a list of quest stages somewhere? EDIT: Found it... if you look up "Kidnapped: Rescue Mission" in the console, then setstage to 40 it completes the quest and removes it from the quest log.

Get hit, get sent to a giant camp. Lydia, who was my follower, doesn't come along. Jarl balgruf and leon from cursed loot are on the floor. Lydia warps in a rapes my character. wat. A quest marker appears above her head saying I need to slay her to get my things back. In the meantime giants, mamoths, foxes, deer, wolves and other random creatures have congregated and take turn on my character. Total madness. 2nd time. Ambushed by riften guards, despite them being disabled in the NPC menu. Get sent to a dungeon. Lydia is done again. The room is full of draugur. Lydia warps in, she rapes my character again. wat. Silver hand thugs appear, despite being disabled in the menu, and take turn on my character along with lydia. reload. 3rd time. Ambushed by draugur. Get sent along with lydia to stormcloak camp. Stormcloak soldiers start taking turns on my character and Lydia. In the meantime horses, wolves, foxes and deer gather in the tent. The tent is crowded with a full menagerie, makes no sense. I came to the thread to look for solutions but it looks like everyone is having the same problems. This mod is in pre-alpha at best.

The original LE mod is notoriously buggy and hasn't been updated in some time, and this one doesn't mention any bug fixes either. It'd take more than a miracle for it to work any better.

inkyvonstump Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Judging by the recent comments I must be one of the few people who's gotten a satisfactory experience out of this mod nowadays without bugs galore. The immersion and dialogue stuff are great, I use it with SLSO and it adds so much tension! There's only a few minor hiccups I'm working around such as how suddenly kidnaps happen (I got jumped on the moment I exited Embershard Mine, less than half a second to react), having sex scenes unceremoniously interrupted by a necromancer's summoned skeletons, and the fact that some bandit hideouts are in areas that are locked off because I haven't started the quest. Overall a good mod, could be a great mod with a little polishing and bugfixing.

I like the mod once I actually get captured, but random enemies spawning around me from no where is too unimmersive for me. I know this mod can send me to simple slavery but I'd prefer it the other way around.

professionalnerd Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Used this mod for a while, and can confirm, it's a trainwreck. It introduces some pretty cool concepts and ideas though, and if it weren't so buggy, it would be pretty great. I'd love for there to be a radiant quest mod based on this where you can improve your relationships with various villagers through rescue missions like this. I think it would probably be a lot more stable if it were separated into two mods between player kidnapping system and the kidnapped NPC rescue missions. Also put a limit on what NPCs in the dungeon participate in the sex scenes so you don't have every NPC on the map (including followers) make a mad dash for the scene, ignoring the player or the rest of the dungeon the moment you entered the cell.

4nk8r Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 This conversion is unnecessary (the mod otherwise lacks meshes, animations or textures) and ESL conversion is not advisable because this mod adds new cell locations to the game (2 Abandoned Shacks and 1 Abandoned House). There is a SkyrimSE bug that if such an ESL is not the very 1st ESL mod that is loaded, and later another patch/plugin overrides this one, the temporary items in those new cells will not be available in game. Use the original and avoid this like the plague.
