While Cynthia can be used by anyone I had two particular groups of people in mind when I made her. First was the newcomer to SexLab Framework. Cynthia acts like a vanilla follower except that she has unique (unvoiced) dialogue that allows consensual sex. In this way, someone familiar with followers can play the Skyrim game to which they've become accustomed and simply add sex to the mix without having to load too many additional mods or learn a lot of new interfaces. The second group was those who like their Skyrim immersive. As mentioned, Cynthia responds to dialogue like a vanilla follower. There are no elaborate spells or shouts or whatever to make her have sex with you.

 

What makes Cynthia different - in one word: sex. 

 

Cynthia has dialogue ("Would you like to ... you know?") that allows the PC to start a sex act through SexLab Framework. Additionally if her arousal is high enough (over 90) she is unwilling to talk about anything else. You can find out for yourself what happens when she brings up sex and you don't give it to her.

 

Cynthia also starts without any inventory. This means that you will not have to worry about the annoying habit of the game to change your follower's clothes back to their  default, since default is naked). She will use the vanilla game's AI in that she will wear the "best" outfit that you put into her inventory.

 

Last, and not related to sex, Cynthia will not spawn the annoying hunting bow that vanilla followers get. In fact, she will prevent any followers from spawning it IF you have not loaded something after her that restores it. (Only applies before (above) the ff version)

 

What you want to know about Cynthia:

• She can be found in White River Watch in the last interior cell (the one with the wolf)
• She fights as a Spellsword (duh!) - think Vigillant of Stendarr
• She levels up with the player
• She has perks in alteration, destruction, one-handed and restoration. This means that early in the game she appears to be more powerful than the PC. Later she will be much less so.
• For her "normal" follower functions she uses the same voice as Lydia
• She is essential (non-killable)
• Besides being a follower she is marriageable and will serve as a steward for a Hearthfire home

Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) REQUIRES SKSE 1.7.3 OR NEWER

 

Fores New Idles in Skyrim (FNIS) REQUIRES FNIS 5.4.2 OR NEWER

• FNIS Creature Pack (found as part of FNIS) is required only if you want creature animation support in SexLab, otherwise it is not required.
• If you get a warning in game about not having 5.2 installed despite having installed it. You have without exception, installed it incorrectly. You can either ignore the warning and keep using SexLab like normal if everything working anyway, or do the smart thing and figure out what's wrong with your FNIS install so the warning will leave you alone.

SkyUI REQUIRES VERSION 5.0 OR NEWER

• If you dislike SkyUI for some reason, you can also install SkyUI-Away on top of it.
• It may work fine with older versions if you refuse to upgrade to 5.0 for whatever reason. You do so at your own risk.

Unofficial Skyrim Legenday Edition Patch (USLEEP)

• This is not a hard requirement and can be skipped, it has been known to fix some problems people have had related to SexLab however and there is little to no reason to not be using them anyway.
• If you choose to not use the Unofficial Patches for whatever reason, expect to be browbeat about not having them when posting your load order in the troubleshooting section.

For newcomers to SexLab Framework (the very basics that you need to know to make Cynthia work):

After loading Cynthia and all the requirements listed above there are only two additional things to bear in mind. The first is that, once you start your game you need to go to the SexLab McMenu and, on it's main page, click on Install. Until you do that it will not work.

The other is that the hotkey (default in SexLab Aroused Redux) for determining the level of an NPC's arousal is the "N" key. So, if you are in a screen and could talk to an NPC by hitting "E" (this includes Cynthia) and hit "N" instead it will give you both your arousal and that of the NPC (on a scale of 1-100). This can be changed in the McMenu.

 

There are many other interesting and useful features to these two mods and I encourage you to take the time to investigate them, but this is all you absolutely have to know in order to use my mod successfully.

WARNING: Cynthia is a follower with unique dialogue. Some follower frameworks have difficulty with that. Specifically, they do not want you to have Cynthia and other followers concurrently. If you have that issue go back to your follower framework. There are specific instructions on how to deal with that.

Wont Annekke be jealous? ? And then there is the hunting bow issue. One could, if one were so inclined, see that as a deliberate snub to Annekke.

 

On a more serious note. Does she just take whatever body and texture one uses or is she CBBE or UUNP, etc?

I am working on a personal (strictly cosmetic) overhaul to Annekke so I think she'll be okay with it. You did notice that I used Annekke's voice. Cynthia will (like any vanilla follower) take whatever body you choose to give her. She will tend to be a little on the chesty side regardless of your body since I did control that preset.

As a suggestion; Since you are making this for newer modders, you might want to include some installation instructions in the description. I mean, us regulars know what to do with a loose .esp, but peeps who've never done anything outside of a mod manager are going to be lost on anything outside of an archive.

She only has script fragments attached to her dialogue (no separate scripts). Are you saying that you can not get her to have sex?

Correct, no sex.  The dialog references various FuckCynthia scripts, but they were not included in the download, which was only the esp file.  Even script fragments must be present to work.

 

Also, I only got the dialog to appear after I manually generated a seq file for the mod.  It's my understanding that a seq file is needed whenever a quest is flagged Start Game Enabled.  It will show as running with SQV, but it won't work right.  So I had no dialog without the seq file.  Making one enabled the dialog to appear. 

 

Cynthia also has the gray face problem that bandygirl1 noted.

 

With missing components, I'd assumed that you'd inadvertently uploaded the esp rather than a zip file, particularly with the version number in the file name.  As you know, if you release a new version with a differently-named esp file, that will cause problems with upgrading for anyone who's already using the mod in a game.  I'd assumed that you intended to upload a Cynthia20190627.7z file, which would have a CynthiaFollower.esp, the scripts, seq, and face export files for the gray face. 

 

So you're just missing a few files in the download package that are needed for the mod to run properly.

Cynthia's sexual orientation is set in SexLab Framework - default is heterosexual. Which animations are played are, again, chosen in SexLab Framework. If you have one or more animations that you do not want to see simply turn them off in SexLab Framework.

I like the idea of this! Except for the likes of Amorous Adventures which in my humble opinion might as well be one of the best Sexlab mods ever made, there are very few mods that initiate sex threw unique dialogue that don't require one to install 10 different other mods that have to do with specific NPCs and especially Followers!

This one genuinely stands alone in that regard, because it's a follower mod with its own dialogue to initiate Sexlab features with.

 

There are however some problems I've encountered, her face textures don't seem to wanna load properly! Her face seems a bit dark grayish with no make up what so ever (like she has in the picture), also she seems to pick male animations even though my character is male and set to male!

I don't really mind this particularly but at least having the option for specific positions via dialogue would be a welcome feature.

Hopefully you decide to expand upon this a bit further, for again it is a great idea!
