FO4 Animations by Leito - Voice Fix for FF animations

View File

Hi,

this is a fix for the female on female animations from Leito's Fallout 4 animation pack that are using strapons (thanks to the AAF One Patch). So far they all had male sounds for the second actor, which is hilarious but also not very immersive.

What I did is I hex-edited the hkx animation files from Leito to change the voice package in them from the male and male raider voices to female (could have used hkxpack but that tool changed too much in the file, I don't trust it). To not also change the male on female animations I had to copy the male hkx files into separate ones and edit those.

The sounds folder is copied over from the female vanilla sounds from Leito's mod, but I removed some "oh god" samples from the aggressive package.

Requirements:

AAF

FO4 Animations by Leito v2.0a (duh!)

The One Patch to Bang Them All

Just load this after the Bang them All patch, it has to overwrite xmls from that or it won't work.

Credits:

@dagobaking for AAF

@Leito86 for his animations

@an3k for the Bang them All patch

This doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm not sure if it's because AAF is thinking my character is male or if it isn't working straight up but I don't know what to try to make it work. Installed it on Vortex, loading it after the Bang them All patch too.

Definitely the first. The animationdata xml specifies genders for animations as sort of a filter, and so far there are only two options, f and m.

You need male for the first actor and female for the second, right?

Would it perhaps be possible to just straight up remove the male voices then for the animations? I'll take silence over hearing the generic rapey male voice coming out of a female character.

That would be the only solution I can think of right now. Because the other would be making a new set of animation xmls for the mf gender combination (so far the Bang Them All patch covers fm and ff). But you'd also have to make copies of and hex edit all the animation hkx files themselves again, and then change the esp accordingly. Which I won't do all over, sorry.

So just try deleting the following folders from Leito's original mod:

Sound\FX\AnimationsByLeito\MaleRaider

and

Sound\FX\AnimationsByLeito\MaleVanilla

...

edit: Now I'm wondering why these animations even play for you. The filter should prevent them from being available if your character is male and a female is in the actor 2 position. Some additional patch you're using? Or did you add modified xmls? That's probably it. But even then you'd still have to hex edit the hkx files and add some info on them to the esp if you want female voices for actor 2 and male ones for actor 1. Which is a lot of work.

I could tell you what to do but I have to warn you, it's a job better suited for robots than humans, and it takes a while.

The only other mod I'm using that could potentially cause this is the FutaFEV mod but AAF is still considering my player as male even after removing it.

So that's not even intended? Weird.

Did you try using the 'sexchange' console command? Maybe it's not just AAF and the game thinks the same.

If I understand this mod correctly, it is supposed to replace the male aggressor voice during Leito's Aggressive animations when the actors are both female, is that correct?  If so, this is not working for me.  I installed The One Patch and definitely clicked female as character type, then installed this patch, but when I go to AAF and set a scene with two females using, say, Leito AggressiveBlowjob - I still hear the male raider voice.   I tried sexchange console command and get the same results.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Your decription of what this does is correct.

This mod needs to be installed after The One Patch in the mod load order (higher priority) and overwrite 4 xml files from that patch, otherwise it won't work.

Do you have any updates to the One Patch 1.1.1 installed? Or anything else that adds modified xmls for Leito's animations?

Even if they are not overwriting this patch there could be multiple entries for the same animation/gender combination if someone renamed an xml.

Another possibility is that there's an esp with higher load priority that overwrites records from mine. Esp load order is also important.

Btw, this patch is outdated anyway.

I suggest you use this mod here instead, which does the exact same thing in a very different way and could also replace or add voices for the other AAF animation packs if you modify their xmls accordingly.

@Indarello uses it for his AAF animation patch.

Short correction to something I wrote earlier:

If you use Indarello's patch then you have to use this patch here or else many of the female on female anims in Leito's animation pack won't work.

It's nonsensical but sadly necessary because I changed animation ID values in the xmls to make this mod work. And he used the changes I made here as a basis for his patch or rather his xmls. So if you don't install the voice fix then AAF uses the wrong ID values and the wrong esp name. The animation will fail loading and the actors will just stand around doing nothing (while also violating the Pauli exclusion principle ^^).
