gregathit Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Donkey, I uninstalled backup2 and all of my postition corrections still save just fine. I am running rev 91 but it was working in rev 90 too. The things that could be the wild cards on the NPC's is the ground or bed, as well as size (bigger or smaller than 1.0). I am not at all arguing as you would know best but I am curious since it does seem to be working fine without backup2 for me.

I was having an undressing problem as well. I entered the Estrus config and deleted all Estrus undressing options and my Lover's undressing options started working again.

I was having an undressing problem as well. I entered the Estrus config and deleted all Estrus undressing options and my Lover's undressing options started working again. Yea, ever since version 19 came out there has been all sorts of problems with this and the "shy" deal in the tech support area. Makes me glad I didn't upgrade and have stuck with the 14.2 version of Estrus that doesn't suffer from any of this!

Combine that with the major changes on how equipments are set in lovers with pk rev 93 or above. And i am not really surprised it won't work nicely. Both try to do the same thing so they are probebly just canceling eachouther out. rev 93 probebly broke compatibility with lot's of mods. Because of the way how to set diffrent style of unequip armor and clothes. So Rapestruggle should be out of question.

Thanks for that BTW. Also confirmed, when two NPCs have sex corrections that I have saved don't activate (both characters are imperials, and corrections I made were saved on an imperial partner). Also, when I have sex with a character of different scale (or race not sure which one)corrections don't activate. I'm running rev93, is this normal behavior or should I reinstall?

[/quote'] If shutting off those animations ruins Estrus for you then you can uninstall it and go back to 14.2 as it won't conflict in any way. On the sex position adjustments - I don't think reinstalling will gain you anything as that is just the way things are. Lovers only will save the one correction at a time for "each position". If you have different scaled NPC's then you either have to split the distance or pick one to properly align (with the others being "off"). You can try loversbackup2.esp but I never saw anything in it that would allow multiple corrections at one time for the same sex animation number. Nusbie - many apologies for the derailment!!!! Fantastic work on the new animations!!!!

I have sex with another imperial and correct each anim, and record the corrections. Try Donkey's suggestion of grabbing loversbackup2.esp from the minor mod pack in the download section and see if that solves things. If it does work let us know. I quit running it and have recommended everyone else do so, since Donkey said it was redundant months ago. I don't think it will do the trick but I have been wrong before and will be again!

Save your game using the console. i.e. Hit tilde key and type save lovers_reset. This MAY NOT be needed, but I have had lover's settings carry over through clean saves. Could be my setup... LOAD your new save game with NO Lover's plugins active. Using the console, make ANOTHER new save. (tilde key - Save Clean_No_lovers) Exit the game. Load that new savegame, just to make sure that NO Lover's related plugins are active. Exit. Enable the neccesary basic Lover's plugins and (I like) LoversAdultPlayPlusForSSP - or anything to test it out. Load that last save and set your lover's config to use the "jump" key to change positions. This will allow your char to fuck for 24 hours while you fine tune his or her position. DO NOT have sex in a bed. DO NOT have sex outdoors. Find a wide-open, completely flat indoor area. Take your character, and arbitrarily have sex with a member of every vanilla race who is the exact same size as you. Make sure you are in a wide open space with completely flat ground and NO obstacles. Go through each position one at a time, finely tuning them until you're happy with the results. Save. Of course, your install could be broken, but I have still had to delete my saved positions and start from scratch from time to time. I also have a default save game I use to start new toons with all my Lover's (and Tamago/Hiyoko/Estrus) settings the way I like them. If my girl gets fucked on a hill - I bear with it and don't fiddle with things. Its sounds like a LOT of work, but its a lot faster than re-installing. This may or may not help, but it took me about three months to get this game set up the way I like. I'm so paranoid and aware that even bad mods don't screw my game up anymore. After two full reinstalls in less than a month... Yeesh... Download. Backup. Test. Revert if needed. Add mods one at a time.

Luckily, I have a folder where I keep copies of all of my installed mods, along with instructions on how to install them, in what order (in case I forget) and a load order list. I only have about 50 or so mods installed so it should only take me a few hours. Thanks for the advice though, I'll save your post to a .txt file in my mods backup folder and use it if I ever have problems.

Had to manually adjust all the positions, but there's no way to save the edited positions apparently, even though I have LoversBackup enabled... The next time I play that animation the position is reset. O.o

If that doesn't work, you can try what the guy said a few posts ago about restarting lovers through the console... It may also be a load order issue. I did a full re-install of oblivion and all of my mods and it works fine now, running rev 93 so no loversbackup needed. Sometimes installations just become unstable.

GMac2021 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Brilliant work! I can't thank you enough, Nusbie. Even if you never fixed the .ini's and the minor glitches, this a great upgrade. Its the small touches you add that bring the anims to life. I KNOW you've done a huge amount of work on this project and probably want to step back and take a breather, but if you're ever inspired to continue your work, could I suggest touching up the BJ anims, or perhaps some of the standing ones... This isn't a request. I ask nothing of you - you've done more than enough already... But if you're bored... I haven't gone through all the anims - and my girl rarely gets raped on a level surface - but wow! These look great.

Long long long time ago i have mentioned that some chair animation would be awesome, but nobody bothered to make it cauz japanese dudes made the most of old animations. Maybe you can do one or two? This animation work is an interesting, i think i get a program and learn some stuff about it. Sometimes i have free days to figure something out.
Ryu Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I must say I'm greatly impressed Nusbie! I tested some of the animations you added and the refined ones. They're as flawless as it is possible considering the limitations of Oblivion's engine. Somebody mentioned something about clipping and misalignments with partners of varied height. Of course they will appear! No modder can produce a universal animation that would concern 2 actors and fit perfectly regardless of the height and body build differences ;]. Although a possible solution would be altering the height of actors (PC and NPC) for the need of the animation only (like in the case of Claudia's Little Secret). That does require tinkering with the .esp file itself though .
