Refining existing lovers animations 1.3 u

Finally found the time to boot up Oblivion and try out those new animations, and I have to say I'm impressed by the whole set, but that on-table animation just takes the cake. It's something above and beyond all the other animations - in my opinion - so I'd just like to say, thank you!

There is one animation used by HiyokoShooter' date=' perhaps you might be interested in creating the perfect birthing animation. Currently it uses one of the stock anims used by Lovers, when I tested out these anims I noticed a crucified looking anim in place of the correct one at the finish.

I've just noticed that 34_DefMotionx1.kf seems to be the same as in the last release and not the fixed one.

 

Yeah I'm going to fix that again. It's a nasty little bug I can only sometimes replicate so I keep thinking I fixed it.

I'm going through the all the animation in the pack and I noticed that one particular missionary animation that was in the one resource pack or another that is either missing or got replaced.

 

imo, that one was damn good with BBB, perfect fit and nice looking motion, and I had it replacing the default missionary animation in my setup, but I think it's one of the more hard to find ones. I think it actually came with one of the old xlovers translation releases floating around right around the wolfslair->loverslab transition. Think the only issues it has is lack of facial expression and a slight sync issue.

 

I've attached all the kfs and the ini (they currently replace anim03, but that was my doing). It might be worth looking at, or at least including.

 

edit: I've noticed that anim15 in the pack uses the same offense anims as the one I'm refering to. It might just be a reuse of the offense animation, however, since the defense anim is very different (and not really in a good way, fit-wise) from the one I've attached.

The chair animations im planning will be look somewhat like this:

Just learned all tricks in 3dsMax, hopefully after dealing ini-s i will be able to distribute some work, and after im planning to rush Skyrim's land with porn! If the proper body types and mods will arrive of course.

 

P.S: Don't judge on M/M, just grabbed them from another project :D

I just installed this but noticed that motionx63 is the same so it did not get replaced, it was a duplicate as far as I can tell

Correct. However I recently re-installed and there's about a million different animation packs and my entire folder is a complete mess so I could be mistaken

lol Hey Nusbie, that sounds just like me. Can you tell me the smartest way to correct my animations folders? If I had been smart I would have just created a good working backup but of course before I got to that in all my excitement I think I have overwritten things too much. I'd like to clean out and correct things so just the base ani files are installed and then overwrite with the latest mods but I fear the only way is if I go and reinstall each mod one by one to try to resolve this...

/Sigh all I really wanted to do was update the basics with yours and the latest ones for lovers creatures but I think I screwed things up in all my exuberance.

A backup folder could be very useful, i had the same problem long ago, when i noticed some dissappearance of cool animation and some crappy old stuff kicked in, i decided to manage all anims on my own with renaming, and checking in Nifskope before installation. It takes time, but there are no perfect collection.

Use BAIN to install animations no back up necessary.

 

At this point I am already confused which utility does what the best in proper order. I'm unfortunately not that capable of figuring it all out I guess. Nifskope is beyond me, believe me. I have installed Boss to run and get proper mod order (with exceptions being the lovers files), then Oblivion Mod Manager, now Wrye Bash and at this point if I have to try to grasp the basics of another utility I am gonna weep.

 

I will say that I have learned my lesson. Going forward once I can get things to a proper working order, I WILL definitely make a backup. What I really want to do now is just try to start loading my animations over from scratch and overwrite with the newer ones from the mods as I go...backups all the way :)

 

If I can figure out now which ani files are the core/base files for vanilla Oblivion that I need to NOT delete so I can remove all of the rest and install them slowly, overwriting as I install the "improved" ones from mods I would be a happy camper.

 

Hmm, just googled Oblivion Bain and apparently it is something within Wrye Bash..../sigh will have to see if I can make some sense out of that feature. lol okay so although it doesn't say BAIN on the "Installers" tab in WryeBash, apparently that is BAIN. so whenever I put the zip files there to install them, that was what you meant. Thanks Prophour! The problems for me begin when the zips are not properly configured and it asks me too many questions....what can I say, I'm slow :(

If you are going to use Bash, make sure you install as many lovers mods as possible with it. Also, the order (from top to bottom, with bottom being the "winner") determines which package (zip/rar/etc) takes precedence. The great thing about Bash that's lacking in all available versions of OBMM is that when you install mods, Bash will put the older, formerly overwritten files back in place. With OBMM removing a mod that overwrote another mod leaves you without whatever files were originally installed usually leading to a crash or some such error. OBMM is easier to start with, but Bash has too many uses to ignore. Either way, I would still keep backups because I'm paranoid.;)

I think i've just learnt everything about making animations in 3dsMax, so im gonna show you because i need to receive opinions about it.

This is my very first animation which is a back-attack stuff. Spent some days with it, hopefully it works, should be, because it also have its own ini, which was pretty weird at the first time, but i learnt how to use it (Thanks Donkey!)

Maybe it is not smooth like real actions, but i've seen worse stuff before. I think i even can get better with it.

The stuff contains breast and tail animations as well, however breast animations looks like a bit static for some unknown reason. I should look after it later.

I took a number 44 of an old crappy animation but you should check out your anim 44 to avoid losing some good stuff. Would be the best to rename it for your own choice.

Now the one million dollars question is, how to set up facial expressions to the animations? That would be an awesome addition.

I just tried it out Northern... it's not bad for a first animation.

 

The good:

-Interesting position, I like it, especially the stage right before orgasm

 

The bad:

-Long animation makes a good animation even better, and a bad one even worse (Improve on the section below and this turns into a positive).

 

The ugly:

-Animation is clunky, movements aren't natural

-Animation is slow, speed it up a little, they should look like they are fucking not dancing

-Positioning is off, just tried it with two imperials, the dick goes into the back of the female's leg, this is especially noticable stage 3

-No facial animations

-BBB is horrible and needs to be redone from scratch(no offense intended but it's the truth :/)

 

This is honest, contructive criticism... as it stands now it isn't that great, but it has HUGE potential if you manage to refine it.

 

That being said, for a first animation it is incredible craftsmanship... from what I heard creating animations is devilishly complex and time consuming work, and I appreciate the time that went into creating this.

Thanks for the positive criticism, that is just what i need to figure out what is wrong.

 

Indeed as i said before movements a bit weird, which comes from the key timeline. There are no way to redefine timeline in 3dsMax, all i can do is just to use a timeline of a previous animation because it is possible to set up timelines in 3dsMax but when i insert animations with a new timeline (longer or shorter) will make no difference in ingame, which means that a part of animation will be cut out, if i made a longer animation than original the animation will be repeat before reaching the end. Which means if i have a 6sec animation all i can do is to economize with my ideas i must make a 6sec long anim, no matter what im planning to do. I've heard some folks using a program named blender, i guess i need to take a look into it maybe there are options to export managed key timelines.

 

About imperials, i found no problem with it, which is weird. To be honest i've checked it out on about 5 or 6 races but it should work on all of them. Please note that some problem will occur if you try to match characters with different height, i mean it won't work if you try to fuck a wood elf with a high elf, because it needs custom scaling which is not supported by Lovers. Some mods like Casual Livion allows ppl to hump with taller or lower people but here multiple scaling is not possible.

 

Facial animations will be inserted as soon as i figure out how to do.

 

As i said i have no idea what is wrong with BBB, gonna use another female body, hopefully i can add more intense bouncing to breasts.

Facial expressions I can help you with, and they are easy.

And by easy I mean really easy. I read this tutorial, then experimented, and within 30 minutes I was changing facial animations.

The timeline can be changed in 3ds Max, and it is quite simple as well. Down in the lower right corner is an icon that looks like a calender with a clock overlapping it (if you mouseover it says "Time Configuration"). In it, it gives you the options to choose the start and end frames, as well as a handy "Re-scale time" button.

 

The one caveat however - make sure you select every bone, then move any actions that fall outside of your intended timeslot back into the proper frames, or delete those actions - otherwise they cause the animation to behave oddly

I think you just searching it in the wrong group. Ini places this animation in the "doing standing" section. But you can re-group this animation of course, inside the ini, under the sposgroup menu. It is full english. You can also rename all files from 44 to a desired number, to replace another existing animation.
