akane750 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) If I haven't started the whole Sybil quest yet, is Fjotra still supposed to appear in the Broken Tower Redoubt cage? For some reason, whenever I approach that cage my game CTDs. As in, very close: I can enter the boss area, and even move around fine, it only happens when I get as close as the ritual...ring...of lit candles thing. Disabling the mod in MO2 fixes things, so I'm trying to figure out whether it's something with the mod itself or another mod butts in and tries to change something, making SoD derp and crash the game. Could be something dumb like "it's not compatible, dummy" - I'm running Skyrim AE 1.6.659. Edited February 17, 2023 by akane750

akane750 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) I decided to run through the quest using the whole tcl/tgm/whatever arsenal of console commands: went to Mother Hamal to start the quest, then to Karthwasten, and back to the BTR cage. Fjotra is there now (she wasn't when those CTDs happened) and I can approach just fine, no crashes anymore. Her model switched between naked and clothed a couple times when I approached, though. @DeepBlueFrogJust to make it explicitly clear, even though I mentioned it just now: Fjotra was NOT present without the quest started. That's correct. I forgot to check if the Dibella quest started befre customizing her in the tower. That is what caused the crash (she wasn't there). That will be part of the fixes when the next version comes out in a couple of weeks. 1
Chlodwig Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) I found the issue there had been to much options and the one with the sybil was the last one and not visible.... Its now working and I'm traveling skyrim to do the quests, Gift of charity worked fine, and artistic education too but the "book of sex" quest.... somehow doesn't work correct. I went to Ivarstead, talke to Fastred, her parents etc. everything worked fine but now I got the quest "ask Fastred if she is now happy" I ask her she tells a lot and at the end she says "wait, isn't that Klimmek" the guy from the lumbermil and the conversation ends and nothing happens. The quest doesn't advance. not sure whats the issue.maybe that this Klimmek guy isn't around. I used now console commands to advance the quest.... Edited February 19, 2023 by Chlodwig

If so, check the hotkeys. The down arrow button is a hotkey to go from standing to kneeling, and then from kneeling to crawling. The up arrow key reverses the positions, i.e. from crawling to kneeling to standing. That animation drove me nuts for a couple weeks before I figured that out. If that's not your problem then I don't know how to help you.

In this instance it ended up being a load order issue that wasn't even related to this mod because my dumbass did everything but change the load order of the npc overhauls.

I did make small changes to JK's Temple of Dibella to make it compatible with Sisterhood for anyone who wants to use it with my mod. That update will be included. I do remember that I had similar CTD issues with the "SeLab Stories", as in BSDynamicTriShape related to a head mesh, and I had to uninstall it to keep my game from instant CTD in specific areas. Is there some... I don't know, load order related thing, where this mod has to be before or after some specific mods, outside of its listed dependencies? As in something that LOOT can't identify? I wanted to post a heads up about these upcoming updates. - I am currently developing for LE and SE/AE in parallel. Making safe changes in LE first and copying them over to SE. Most of my changes are scripts and esp based, so these are safe to move over. - I gave up on using BSA files and will be moving to only loose files from now on. Make sure to keep backup of any customizations to meshes in Sisterhood, Alicia or Parasites if you made some for yourself as those will be deleted by my new files. - I will create a new Special Edition download page for each of my mods, with its own forum page. I know that will spread places where you can bring up issues but it will be a cleaner way to move to a Special Edition only for these mods. - Moving over to Special Edition only will take time. No need to panic if you are still on LE. That said, things have progressed a lot on SE's side. It took me about a month or two to have a working version. I found some of the new mods that are exclusive to SE more than make up for a few mods I couldn't replace from LE (and I managed to replace most of them). - I didn't test DD 5.2 yet. I will look at it in the next few months. 9

For some reason E.L.L.E has stopped responding to dialogue, the 'Tweak Nipples for Sex' just asks 'what do you desire' but then nothing. I tried simply removing the mod but the game didn't load so had to reenable it.

I will look into a way to reset her in future versions later this year. For now, I am not sure how to safely reinstall the mod. It has been a while since I have looked at the internals. I am currently involved in setting up the release pages for many of my mods for Special Edition. Stories is not yet part of that pack and will be in the next batch.

I am using SE with the latest version level ,.. so comparable to AE but without most of the bundled mods. I have more than 700 mods installed and I only found one mod so far that I can't use because it need to be updated to the latest version. Take a good look at what you want to use. I remember one of the CC mods flat out not letting me load my game, i think it was fish. maybe i will go through my load order later and see if there are AE versions of all the mods. probably not this week though.

The latest Special Edition is the same version as Anniversary Edition. The only difference is that Special Edition includes Fishing, Survival and Saints/Seducers from CC.. while AE includes a whole lot more useless junk. I disabled Survival because I am using Frostfall and iNeeds, which I find superior. Fishing is just there but I haven't found any adverse impact from having it. You can also just disable the esm file if you want it out. 2
