the symbiotic tentacle lifeform deposit spawned on almost everything. sun, black hole, astral scar and others.

it also messed their deposit from working properly.

Damn, that explains why kilostructures no longer work. Yep, just checked, if you build an arc furnace for instance the deposits will be shown in the Management screen, but the tentacles block them from actually taking effect.

Hotfix time!

This is a small post-release maintenance patch for v0.8.0, fixing a handful of trait, Tentacle Symbiosis, district and zone issues reported since release.

It should be save-game compatible ;)

since you working on updating the traits, could you make the 'all male' and 'all female' trait to work with robots/machine species.

May I suggest these awesome pictures from artist Lucien and Zerogravitas be featured in the mod in some manner.
Epic mod, Lithia ! Thanks for the time you've put into the mod.

I found a bug: after building the “nurture drone” robots, no pop is added to this profession, as if it doesn’t exist.

Joy of joys, my friend, I believe I have found and fixed the problem.

The following code can be found in \common\scripted_triggers\lv_scripted_triggers.txt

lv_can_fill_drone_job_trigger = {
	custom_tooltip = LV_DRONE_JOB_TRIGGER

	hidden_trigger = {
		exists = owner

		is_being_purged = no
		is_being_assimilated = no

		# Enslaved pops are intentionally allowed to fill LV drone jobs

		# Temporarily disabled, will make special jobs for them eventually
		NOR = {
			has_citizenship_type = {
				type = citizenship_organic_trophy
				country = owner
			}
			has_citizenship_type = {
				type = citizenship_cruise_passenger
				country = owner
			}
		}

		OR = {
			lv_is_hive = yes
			AND = {
				lv_is_robutt = yes
				lv_is_a_smexy_robutt = yes
			}
		}
	}
}

Specifically, the part where it says:

AND = {
				lv_is_robutt = yes
				lv_is_a_smexy_robutt = yes
			}

should instead be

OR = {
				lv_is_robutt = yes
				lv_is_a_smexy_robutt = yes
			}

for I assume that the code is checking that a drone for a robot empire should be able to take the nurture drone job if it is "a robot OR a sexy robot" instead of "a robot AND a sexy robot"

I have tested out the code in game and confirmed that it fixes the issue for robot empires!

if you are lazy and don't want to go change the thing yourself, simply download the file lv_scripted_triggers.txt and insert it into your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod\Lustful Void\common\scripted_triggers
image.png.27f62e060610e39483b3f900800264ca.png
make sure to replace the file

Is there no more cheat trait? is there no way to get more traits in creation? I dont see the reason behind this, you cant like customize empires that you want to start in your game now, you have to basically cheat anyway to see where they spawn so you can manually create them at game start........

Sorry, more questions.

Need to start a new game to double check these, but with the update on the previous save.

Erogenous Zones only specialize into Lithia, no escort focused option?  Planetary Pleasure Hubs are buildable in Lithia zones so it may be intended, but a little unexpected.

Tentacle-Infested City District specialization has improved, but still odd.  Is there a reason not to include options like Urban Expansion, Spiritual Enclave or Commercial Nexus?

Resort World - Attraction Districts specializations fail/reset.  This was a problem in the base game with earlier 4.x versions that was fixed. Something unfixing it?

How are Concubine jobs acquired? I can build Temple of Love to increase their job efficiency, but don't see a building or district that creates them.

Seem to be getting an issue where slaves are staying unemployed, even when jobs they are allowed to work are available, looks like there is something with the weighting only being to LV jobs

Hi,
just finished my second campaign, and after updating to the newest version, want to get some more Stellaris. I've already bought: The Machine Age and the Leviathans Story pack. My problem is that the steam review for pretty much everything else is either mixed at best or down right bad at worst. Can someone recommend some must-have DLCs or ones that also play well with Lustful Void?

On a side note. I followed the suggested load order and didn't even get to the menu before crashing because of the "LV_TECH_EMERGENCY_PATCH_4_0_23_LOCAL || v4.0.23". Would be nice if someone could edit that, if they have the time.
Thanks in advance!

Hello, not sure if any one has reported this to you yet but I am having issues with Astral Threads showing up as a resources correctly with the newest version of Lustful Void. I tested all my mods to make sure that it was not mods messing with each other but and found that Lustful Void seems to be the issue. Attached is a photo showing this issue. Just wanted you to be aware.AstralThreadsIssue.thumb.jpg.a7dc42f7a71bd30fd83db6453359b367.jpg

That error seems like you are not at the latest version of Stellaris or you have downloaded the wrong LV file. Stellaris 4.0.23 is the Phoenix version rollback, in 2025. Current Stellaris version is 4.4.6

Make sure you have downloaded the correct LV file, and that when you update LV you delete the old one instead of just replacing it with the new LV file.

As for cool DLCs with LV:

If you want to play as a megacorporation selling sex and prostitutes, I recommend Megacorp DLC, especially with the slave market.
I believe Federations DLC gives a Sexopolis and Shattered Pleasure Ring origins
Overlord DLC lets you build brothels and nurture hubs on your subjects
Paragon DLC allows you some new council agendas like breeding and milking
There are also intertwining code that works with Astral Planes DLC, Cosmic Storms DLC (although I don't recommend this one because everyone hates cosmic storms and the only mechanic that interacts with this is that Slime Vats slightly reduce cosmic storm devastation on a planet...)

I personally also enjoy Biogenesis DLC to play as an insect / tentacle hive

So for general DLC stuff, part of the bad reviews is that Chinese players were mad about how HoI4 represents Tibet and some ahistorical claim options for non-Chinese countries, and because HoI4 isn't sold in China they review bombed Stellaris instead.

Personally I think every DLC except Cosmic Storms is worth buying.

Thanks, will check those out. But not all at once, bit pricey :sweat_smile:. But yes, I'm on the Public default 4.4.6 and have installed the LV mod correctly. I've read the update guide and everything works as long as "LV_TECH_EMERGENCY_PATCH_4_0_23_LOCAL || v4.0.23" is not activated. Dark Totenkopf said that "The mod assumes that you have all the DLCs.", so do i need this mod ? Also, how did you build your tentacle hive? I tried my hand at it, but im not sure if it'll work.

So, kinda like Fallout 76? Funny that. Thanks

I figured it was about the update that comes with ever DLC.

It changes stuff and people don't understand that the DLC is not the update.

There is no must have DLC and the ratings are bullshit because the negative reviews rarely address the DLC itself, usually they are mad about changes that came with the DLC but not buying the DLC won't make those go away.

I guess as a newcomer you just buy the DLCs that interest you.

Also if you plan to buy several DLCs you really should wait for a sale. Noo need to pay full price for the old ones.

I do gestalt empire with the Brood Swarm civic at the start
Additional civics are usually all military or breeding civics like Strength of Legions, Pod BondageInternalized ReproductionInsemination Drones, Subsumed Will

I also do bioships and there are some civics that require you to have bioships so that's where the Biogenesis DLC comes in: Aerospace AdaptationShared Genetics
For the traits there are some traits that synergize with traits of other species, like for example Brood ParasiteScary, etc.

New to the mod do I need to install any dlc's for the mod to function as nothings showing up mod wise

You don't need the DLCs, however there naturally will be some features that might be unavailable to you due to that but it works perfectly fine without it.
