Actually, there's a flag in the Options (under Edicts) that is supposed to turn off the Mono-Gender alert popup... But it's not set right. If you check the code, the Mono-Gender popup is actually looking at the flag for the Brood-Parasite popup. Whoopsie. Until it's fixed, just turn off the Brood-Parasite popups in the Options.

Small hotfix for the problems people have been reporting! Also for those that can't get parallel evolution to work, make sure there's no other mod or mods overwriting LV. Usually something like the "unofficial hive expansion" can cause it. Unfortunately without a patch for the mod causing it, you'll have to pick which one you want to use as making lv take priority will likely break that mod too.

As I said in the patch notes, I've been a bit busy irl, but will start modding again soon. So far I have 4 main focus points I'd like to work on. Those are a better/proper event window, milk/cum expansion, hive rework and lv's own portrait set. I'll do the portraits as I do the others, but I'll probably take a vote or something soon to see what people want me to work on first.

I recently upgraded my Lustful Void versio to the current one. Thanks for your hard work, Lithia. However I can't find the sexy advisor voice in-game anymore. I can see it in the install zip though. But its not in the list of advisor voices in-game. Is it in any way locked acordin to my government setup? I am playing Militarist and Egalitarian.

Thanks again, I recently started a new game with several mods including this one and it is running well thus far.

So the small pics patch started working suddenly, maybe due to partially reinstalling the launcher (I can't seem to reinstall the whole thing as I can uninstall/ delete part of it). I downloaded the new patch... Same result. Not sure what's going on, but the launcher still thinks the pathway to LV is broke, despite being no different than any other mod, nor LV add on (Which all work fine). I'm going to continue to tinker with it, and try to fully reset my launcher.

Any one else have any other ideas?

The "Lustful Void" folder (of the exact same name) needs to be in the mods folder, too.

Going to drop this question in here too since it's a compatibility patch, and this is probably the more active thread:

The SE+ Human/Humanoid mods and the compatibility patches on this forum - I can't get monogender stuff from LV to work with them. It's a real shame, the SE+ Human(oid) mod series add a ton of great stuff, but I also just can't play without LV.

Does anyone out there who uses LV, SE+ human(oid) mods and the compat. patches (here and here) know what I need to do to get the mono-gender traits etc to work with all this stuff running?

thx for the reply but it dosnt seem to work.

i deleted the lustful void modfile from the mod folder and then tried extracting it directly into the mod file:

so i extracted all from this file

Capture8.PNG.3a11ffaf218e4ed91788a8330b383ac8.PNG

like this

Capture5.PNG.4271b173b30780c39cdbb900135cbcb9.PNG

and then it looked like this:

Capture6.PNG.d8e75a51fe84649d112974ede211cae8.PNG

but when i tried running stellaris it would still not allow me to run stellaris with it:

Capture7.PNG.c4d753f7218cbb69a8c956f69e5f1d56.PNG

the option just wont show?

im very confused

sorry for the inconvenience, any help would still be very much appreciated.

thx

Go into your control panel and uninstall the "Paradox Launcher V2" then launch Stellaris. It'll reinstall the launcher and usually clears out the blocks most of the time. Also what exactly does it say when you hover over that red triangle?? The popup's description can help us diagnose the issue.

I would wager exactly what mine does.

"The path to this mod is invalid and the mod cannot be loaded by the game."

I hope uninstalling the launcher works for them, it didn't for me.

Go to your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod and open "Lustful Void.mod" with a text editor, then find the path and make sure it is "mod/Lustful Void" (with quotations) when you're done the line should be: path="mod/Lustful Void"

Are you planning on adding any more traits cause I have an idea for one:

Shortstack (Trait Point Worth : 7)

  • Description : The stature of this species has been altered do to unknown factors and have resulted in a figure reminiscent of a living fertility idol.
  • Effects:
    • Alluring Body :
      • Habitability -5%
      • Happiness +10%
      • Pop Growth +10%
      • Pop Growth from immigration +5%
      • Food from milking livestock and processing 0.50%
      • Unity from jobs +5%
    • More to lug around :
      • Army damage -5%
      • Minerals from jobs -5%
      • Pop amenity usage +5%
    • Mini Moo :
      • Milk cow upkeep +15%
      • Milk cow output +15
      •
      • Sex job output +5%
      • Opinion 20

Note :

It's a rough combination of the traits : Breeding Hips, Huge Breast, & Excess Estrogen.

Maybe an "apposite" to Shortstack could be and amazonian aspect?

If you check the code, Perfect Hybrid is only accessed by one means: Interbreeding. You have to have LV's Intercompatibility Ascension Perk, have two or more species occupying a planet, and then you will occasionally get random new species popping up. Each time a new species pops up, there is a 1% chance that this new species will have the Perfect Hybrid and Psionic traits. That's the only time it'll get into gameplay without cheating. Random luck. And it'll be on an otherwise completely randomized new species.

As for Titanic Evolution, that's easier. For starters, you can't be Hive Mind or Machine. You need to find a planet with Titanic Life on it, and be the first empire to colonize it. Yeah, that takes some random luck, but once you've got the planet, it gets much more controlled. Or rather, you can't control them. In order to get the trait, you have to let the titanic life have sex with the colonists and not try or plan to stop them. No, you can't decide to contain them and just wait a long time, once you've decided to contain the problem, access to the trait is cut off. And then, eventually, all of the pops on the planet will be re-traited to include Titanic Evolution. And All Female, and Submissive. It's a package deal. And unfortunately, if you change their genetics to remove either All Female or Submissive, the Titans will just re-apply it, at least on that specific planet.

Of course, nothing stopping you from changing the files or using a console command.

Not sure if it's been reported yet, but the BDSM pop up events are missing entirely. Had to copy their scripts over from a previous version to get them to show up in my game.

I like the new trait text layout. It looks a lot cleaner now. Granted the point costs threw me off a bit at first, but I think that's just because the old costs were all a bit cheaper. Though I don't see myself using Seasonal Breeders as a point offset or thematic trait pick anymore unless stacked with traits to counter its negatives. That growth penalty and habitability penalty combination looks painful even if it is a -7 cost.

I noticed the trait pick counts were reverted back to vanilla values. I suppose the previous values might've been a bit high, but I still ended up bumping them up by 1 over the vanilla values. Kept running into the issue of needing just one more trait pick on pretty much every species I started to rebuild on my custom empire list. Could never really do anything creative with that 5 point base cost even in the base game...

Also, the "cheat trait" is pretty much a requirement to set up a machine species with more than one of the positive traits (let alone starting them as sex bots). Had the same issue with the previous trait costs too. There just aren't enough negative cost traits to offset the positive cost traits.

Problem I noticed is that none of the portraits packs actually have portraits in them. They have a small mod file and a file structure of gfx/portraits/portraits with just some text files in the second portraits folder. Where do you get the actual portraits?

Sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't find it. Can slaves be given sex worker jobs? I'm thinking of a slaver empire, but I don't want to find out an hour through that I can't make my slaves work as whores.

I don't see why not. As long as the slaves can work Worker jobs and Specialist jobs there should be no problem.
