So I have a stupid question.
On my new install I can not get the dragoness animations to play at all, the male dragon animations work fine but with a dragoness or bozillah from sexlab dragons it tries playing the male animations.


The player character is female. With a male character some of the dragoness animations work.

If it helps the dragoness and bozillahs gender are writen as male.
I followed all the instalation advise.

Is this some known bug or can I do anything for the dragoness animations to work with a female character.

My current workaround is setting the character gender to male but it is still weird. This mainly affects the HCOS animations.

And sometimes it tries to play animations not recognised by sexlab tools.

If it could help I can also send stuff like my load order, or any log files that could help.

After fidelling (reinstalling SL tools) I got it to at least sometimes initially playing the right anims but SL tools does not seem to recognize them.
Which means I cant select them manually for example.

This is at least a step forward. I am still confused but at least it works semi decently

 

So the bug is propably in SL tools wich always was kinda iffy on AE.

make sure to turn off match creature gender in Sexlab's MCM, having it on will block some animations.

also the invert player animations selector in SLDragon's MCM will change what animations are used, it should be set to 0.

Thank you for the response. The invert animation is set to 0 and I disabled match creature gender.
I am not at home today but I will give it another check tomorrow.

Further testing showed that the issue is not contained to sexlab dragons it happens with every spawned dragoness.

Basically somehow it only seems to show the HCOS animations when using a male player character.

If I talk to them using sexlab dragons the correct animation loads and plays, the changing them with sl tools is the broken part and that used to work on my old pc.

I will send more info tomorrow when I am back at my PC.
 

I'll try to disable sexlab dragons to see if the issue is there when im back home maybe its also in hcos or SlTools.

Okay it is realy weird. I had it enabled because otherwise it would not play animations at all. Tested with spawned dragoness and pupet masters. The HCOS animations only appear when I change the character sex to male. This was done in the sexlab mcm with sl dragons disabled.  All other animations only appeared with match creature gender on.

This was not the issue with dragons installed though.

Changing the options to filter animations in sexlab does not do anything in this regard I tried all possible options

It seems like the animation tags for those HCOS animations may be off on my end.

No I am not using sexlab p+ waiting fot it to be more compatible with mods

I am using the SLTOOLS from this post.

So further testing.
After removing the unlimited animation list I got further now the tags seem to work better.
Now Sexlab tools shows the animations called by sexlab dragons. A
The only weirdness remaining is that ig I intiate the scene using pupetmaster on a dragoness it only show all HCOS animations for a male player characterm so more than the 3 or 4 in my last screenshot but all, this means sexlab tools is most likely the culprit.


I can always use the work around in SLdragons so not to big an issue.
It is just weird as it worked on my old PC

Dragons work normal it is just an issue with dragonesses.

Hey, I'm having an issue where paarthurnax doesn't align to my character, and I'm pretty sure it's because he's perched. I looked around a bit and I couldn't find anyone with the same problem, does anyone know of a solution?

that's a problem with Sexlab, not this mod

I assumed so, but I also checked there and couldn't find a fix, so I though it was more likely someone using this mod would know a fix. If you could point me in the correct direction, that'd be great, if not, I'll probably figure it out at some point.

there is sort of a fix but i'm not sure how it triggers, sometimes he will take off and then land in front of you before starting an animation.

i thought it had something to do with the "disable starting teleport" setting but for me it happens randomly regardless of whatever that setting is set to.

I saw in previous messages, someone asking if this mod was compatible with Authentic Sinding Werewolf Follower, but that was in 2022, is it possible to integrate with the mod today? It would be perfect

it's the mnc/cf side of things where there seems to be an issue

 

looks like they did that bullshit of cutting the mesh up into many files.....ah fuck it has tri files as well.....and hes been setup as a new race, fucking annoying.

 

i sure do love it when people turn a simple creature into a complete fucking mess, may as well be another god forsaken horse mod.

added 2 hidden notes in Boziilah's home.

one is a shitty copypasta i made while i was overthinking about something in a old Syrinoth comic.

the other (that could probably use a lot more work) is a message left behind by a Senche-Tiger (or at least that's what i intended) before it tried to escape...that Boziilah then found and added her own massage to, starting with how she saved the Khajiit from itself, but then going on to reveal some nasty facts & regrets that proved the Khajiit was right.

 

added 3 non-hidden note in Boziilah's home.

2 messages she would have sent to her slaves concubines when they were nearing there natural deaths.

and a note in the starting cage that has the basic house rules.

Damn, the lore... Makes me kinda regret to be her "chosen" one. I'm going to be incredibly spoiled, but I wish I could like, prove her wrong or bring a substitute somehow and just join her personal sextoy-food harem.

 

Or also help her build it and feed her NPCs...

it's a good news bad news thing that i have not yet worked out how to tell in the mod.

 

good news: your not the chosen one, there never was a chosen one, shes just obsessed with a book she kept finding during the dragon break that was somehow not effected by it when everything else was (inducing her own past).

bad news: she has gone full on self fulfilling prophecy to make it happen, even causing small dragon breaks/time paradoxes of her own in the process.

good news: the horrors of the dragon break has made here value life, so she is perfectly intent on letting you live out yours before taking you.

bad news: you fit the role of her self preserved chosen one perfectly.

 

then there are the other things i need to fill in, like how/why/when she created her home that is semi shielded from time, and why no one is left there/why she has not taken anymore people (already gave some small hints to that in the new letter, but basically the book that she reused as a trap was lost, and she became uncomfortable with what she was doing anyways).

A port of creatures for Ostim is already in production by a modder, any possibility of turning SLDragons into ODragons?
