And for our modding community its best to just make your own website or host your content here. I hate the fact I've had literal kids follow my blog saying they hate my weird content and im like why the fuck are you even here?! This is why Tumblr is going to shit. People kids putting their noses in places that are not for them and never were created for them and exploiting it. Kids now want to make jokes about hentai as if its gateway porn from anime and that's not it at ALL . im bothered by all of this...some of my favorite kink art blogs are gone already

There's certain content that just doesn't belong in certain places. I've said time and again that Nexus is not the place for adult mods. While it's okay to post it, modders who upload adult content there like male bodies and penises tend to get flack from the immature people there. I've seen many modders disappear because of the drama and it's just not worth uploading there for that reason. I stopped feeling sympathy for modders who continue to take the abuse and complain about it there. There's a place for everything and Nexus is certainly not the place for adult content. Spare yourself the headaches and upload here or deal with the repercussions there.

All adult mods, no matter whose taste they cater to, get massive flack but the more towards any extreme a mod goes (skimpiness, body curves, musculature, cuteness, et cetera), the more emboldened trolls are to antagonize the mod authors. It is one of the reasons why modders like Nisetanaka called it quits on the Nexus.

Which is good, but also sucked because when that happened, I among others were already blocked from downloading his stuff on Tumblr. He should have moved his work here and give the bird to Nexus.

 

Not that it matters since it's here anyways, but he would have more love here than Nexus and not worry about the staff being offended over a lewd image.

This is likely how many of us find subject matter which is made available through the browser. Images w/links. Once inside the site, people rummage through drawers, closets, etc. This is why we have locks on our doors.

 

With advertising helping to offset costs, site owners open themselves to public scrutiny. It isn't pretty. When the end result is profit, then out come the torches and pitchforks. Independent thought seems to upset those with a herd mentality.

Most people do not have a problem with you thinking for yourself,.... as long as your conclusions are the same as or at least compatible with their beliefs.

To some people critical thinking means you mustn't be critical of them only others.  I feel my independent way of thinking is not wrong, however, it does rubs some people the wrong way, that in itself is both a blessing and a curse. ?

The way most people use their minds is similar to an ambulance that is used only as an umbrella. I believe you should think for yourself and let others enjoy the privilege of doing so too.

Can never see twitter as a NSFW platform. Newground and HF are more for art and illustrations than screenshots, plus they only allow 1 picture at a time. Sad days ahead of us :/

People tend not to want to donate to content seen on the more popular image boards but there is nothing stopping people from posting on sites like 4Chan, e621, Sankaku Complex, Gelbooru and the like. Maybe people will change their minds about supporting content that they want to see on those sites in time?

I'm hanging on to my Tumblr account until the 17th so I can scour every page not yet disabled to download whatever I can. Too bad most of the Skyrim mod pages seem to be gone already. One vanished right after I completed a download.

It also might be more noticeable if people drop out the moment the changes officially take effect.
