Shaydow Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Hey everyone, I wanted to drop by and let you know I have not been around the last week. I got the flu and have been in bed most of the past week, and the times I was out of bed was to care for my 2 kids who ALSO got the flu :/ Been a rough week. So I have not worked on the mod for some time now, sorry about that, have not done really anything. Not much I could do about it. Â Is there any way I could edit something to allow me to equip armor when in the different forms? Â You can craft standalone versions of the armors that can be mixed and matched.
Shaydow Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 Decided I would try to keep you guys apprised of how the mod is coming along. Spent a good amount of time yesterday ( 9 hours ) working on it. Most all the bug fixes / script changes / etc are done, AND I managed to knock out ALL of the Angel Knights new file paths ( forms are now in their own sub folder and no longer just in the Celestial Folder. So now instead of Celestial\AngelKnight it is Celestials\Forms|AngelKnight ). I also with the new changes am able to cut down on the amount of files and the overall size of the mod. An example is Angel Knight, who went from 21 files to 12 files. Also as I am doing the file paths this time anything that shares a texture will always point to that texture rather then a different instance of that texture ( while not something that is a huge problem, there are a few instances of it in the v6 and below I always wanted to clean up so I am doing it now ). Â So here is what still needs to be done ( in terms of file paths ) : Â Angel Knight Devil Knight now done Shaydow Knight now done Celestial Summons ( about as big a job as the 3 forms ) FX Â I will keep you updated as I knock them out.
Shaydow Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 I am now play testing a packed BSA of v7+ ( as I am now calling it ) While this BSA does not have everything in it that will be needed, such as the animations to make the Gun look proper, it has the basics of what will be needed to get the mod up and out to the masses. v7+ has a couple of stipulations before you would want to upgrade to it. I will list some here and once I release I will add it to the main page :   WHO SHOULD NOT UPGRADE :  * If you use the standalone armor from Celestials then v7+ is NOT for you. v7+ comes with no craftables. They will be back later. * If your not willing to use only the Super Skimpy versions of the armor as the only option at initial release  v7+ is not for you. * If you do not want to be forced to use HDT's High Heel system v7+ is not for you. * If you use another mod that adds perks to balance your game v7+ MAY not be for you. * If your happy with the current way Celestial Forms / Powers /  Armors / Body work in v6 and below, v7+ may not be for you. * If you do not use / plan on using Celestial Forms then v7+ is NOT for you. * If you can't follow README instructions and or look at FAQs  v7+ is not for you.  WHO MAY WANT TO UPGRADE / INSTALL :  * If your a first time user of Celestials v7+ is for you. * If you are willing / only want to only use the Super Skimpy versions at first release v7+ is for you. * If you plan on starting a new game with Celestials installed v7+ is for you. * If you are interested in a more balanced Celestials experience v7+ is for you. * If you don't mind being my guinea pig for testing on the way to v8 then v7+ is for you. * If you know how to handle your modding then v7+ is for you.   Some notes :  Mostly have this release compatible with the newest version of RaceMenu. The extras category is gone but most everything that WAS in there is now in their respective categories ( so now mouth open is not under extras but under mouth options, etc ). Attached is a Screen Shot :     Plan on having a release by Saturday morning. Â
Shaydow Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 I finished ( ? ) earlier then I thought. Â Have fun.
Guest Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Love the changes. Only issues I'm finding is that when you take off the armor your character is wearing, theres this weird space of empty where the neck should connect to the torso. Your character is also always wearing the heels from the Angel Knight transformation. Just thought I would let you know about this. I'm using the XP32 Skeleton from here on LL and the Sevenbase body.
firestorm Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Only issue I have is it requires Dawnguard which i don't have and wasn't required in some of the previous versions.

Turn your character max weight to 100 and use RaceMenu to adjust your character and the neck gap will go away. The heels are intentional. They are no longer Angel Knight heels but naked body heels now.  Only issue I have is it requires Dawnguard which i don't have and wasn't required in some of the previous versions.  I kinda forgot about this. Give me until tomrrow and I will release a non - dawnguard version.
laenes Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 When I take off my armor or trying to reshape the game just takes off .... what could be the problem? and asked where to get animated skirt and Hair as you in video
Shaydow Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Only issue I have is it requires Dawnguard which i don't have and wasn't required in some of the previous versions.  I uploaded a vanilla only ESP you can replace. It's under the downloads.  When I take off my armor or trying to reshape the game just takes off .... what could be the problem? and asked where to get animated skirt and Hair as you in video  I do not know what you mean by the game taking off.  The skirt is to be included in Skimpy version comming a bit later, but has no XML attached to it atm. If you read the above I already said you must be willing to not have access to all versions of the forms armors. As for the Skirt, it works but does not work with all versions of HDTPyhsicsExtension, and I don't want to include a moving skirt that only worked correctly for some, and for everyone else would bug the fuck out and not work right.  The hairs are not mine and I did not get permission to use them.
Muh Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Did I miss something? When I activate the newest version I cant start a new game only load old savegames.
Shaydow Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Did I miss something? When I activate the newest version I cant start a new game only load old savegames. Â This sounds like a mod conflict. Try turning off all other mods but Celestials and it's masters. Then try to start a new game. If you CAN'T let me know, if you can, start turning on your mods again one at a time until you find the conflict. Â which version should i download? Â If your a new user of Celestials I recommend v7.1. If you do NOT have dawnguard also get the Vanilla esp replacer.
kindervodka Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Â Â Â which version should i download? Â If your a new user of Celestials I recommend v7.1. firestorm Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Thanks for the Vanilla esp. Â Only issue I've seen with it though is that you cant seem to start a new game.
Shaydow Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014  Part 2 and 3 are the same as part 1 , they overwrite themselve same bsa and same esp    I don't think you are understanding. You NEED all three parts in order to unpack it. Regardless of what part you open to extract it will of course look the same, since the three ARE what your unpacking.  Thanks for the Vanilla esp.  Only issue I've seen with it though is that you cant seem to start a new game.  So that's two. I wouldn't have any idea why. It does not happen to me or my wife. Again, turn off EVERY mod you have BUT Celestials and its masters and then try. If you CAN start a new game then it is not Celestials and another mod causing a conflict that you will need to find. If you still CAN'T start a new game let me know, but I am pretty sure you will be able to.

How exactly do you set max weight to 100? Never messed with that before.   When creating a character / using showracemenu in the console, even in Vanilla Skyrim, under body options, should be a weight slider. Setting it to 100 will always mean turning it all the way up to max. You will notice as you do btw that the ONLY thing that changes is the gap in the neck. Using Expired's RaceMenu as I suggest in the readme allows for a greater customization of each individual character part where overall weight does not matter so never needed to be included.  *EDIT* Also, you should note, that if you are a CELESTIAL, that is, the race, OR if you use the For's armors, you are NOT using SevenBase body, you are using my Celestial 2.8 Body instead. If you are a Celestial using just the BSA, you are also only using my textures as well.  You can replace anything you wish however, from forms armors to textures etc. It is why I redid the file paths and it took much longer this time, I wanted to make sure people can " Mod my Mod " as I like to call it. Making this easier for say someone like you makes your enjoyment of the mod greater then it would have been, and I am actually all about fun. This is what I find fun, if you think changing something would make it more fun for YOU, then by all means, do.
Deedlit Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 @ Shaydow i really loved your mod and clothes that is omg, but i wanna ask for 2 things: a) can you do the clothes bodyslide 2 compatible? can you do the craft for celestial things aside regular ones? example: hide iron steel Celestial >here comes the items. The B section its very important for me because already have hell items inside regular craft table, and with celestial goes double hell of things. its ok if cant, i still loving your work.

The B section its very important for me because already have hell items inside regular craft table, and with celestial goes double hell of things. its ok if cant, i still loving your work.  Sadly the answer for B is no, but not because I don't want to. Categories for crafting are hard coded into the game. At one time I believe there were 2 unused categories that no one could get to work right, but have since been filled with Hearthfire and DragonBorn expansions anyway.  As for A, I probably will, eventually.  *EDIT* I forgot to mention however, that v7.1 has NO craftables at all. I removed them. I think some of you may wonder why. Well, it was for the exact reason you just talked about. It was getting cluttered. Standalone balanced armors ARE coming back, but I will be doing them as sets. So basically, you won't have to have ALL the armors, only the ones you want. I.E Angel Knight Legacy armors will simply be me making a crafting table for all the OLD Angel Knight armors, and they will be named as such in the game. If you don't want that, then you won't have to install it.
Muh Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Deactivated every mod the same problem. Deactivating except your race and racemenu +fnis. Still the same problem, when I try to start a new game I get an endless loading screen.
Guest Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Got the weight slider thing figured out. Thanks!   Still kinda funny though how even with it adjusted, nude and in a form, my character has gazongas like you would not believe! #TinyTina  Nothing wrong with it at all. Its just funny that they grow two cup sizes just by entering a form. Mildly humorous imo.
firestorm Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Solved the no new game issue for myself at-least, just had to move alternative start after celestial esp.
Xcena Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hello, I've been trying out the mod but I can't seem to fly, I've installed the flying mod and its requirements. When I use the wings ability I just get the spell failed sound and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Also is there a way to change the body mesh & texture?
