On a side note, I had dropped by to let everyone know I'm in the process of making a WereWolF OVERHAUL to. This one is going pretty well actually, with only one small issue I'm still having some trouble solving. It's actually fully playable at the moment and even if I can't solve this one thing I will probably release it sometime this weekend. I will probably add a teaser video of it to both this thread and the VampireLord Overhaul thread when I get the chance.

Hey, i wonder if its somehow possible for the "Unleash celestial power" that if you use it pre 30 so that it would just equip all Celestial Armorpieces in the inventory?

 

No, one, that would have to be a different power altogether, since the power is removed and replaced once used at 30, and then the new one is removed again at 80.

 

Two, there is no reason for me to script an effect like that as part of the Celestials Mod when SkyUI has a favorites system that already does what you're asking for. Easy to set up, you can equip an entire armor set, weapons, rings, etc with the hit of 1 hotkey.

Rather than every day or hell even multiple times a day posting in this thread just to give you guys a "heads up" or a "I'm doing this atm", or even posting in my other mod threads, today I decided to start a Blog here on LL. First hand info on what I'm up to, new things, fixes, etc, will from now on be in the blog, rather than making it look like I am ententionally trying to bump my own threads ( I'm really not, I just have a lot to say sometimes ).

Would you guys like to see 2 versions of the GunBlades, one that is a Gun and one that is a sword? I've been trying to work my head around a way to make one both, but I honestly don't think it is doable. Unless there are some SKSE functions I'm not aware of, I don't see how I can get the weapon to switch when a proximity is hit. I liked them as just guns ( I'm a BIG Final Fantasy fan, it's why I pick them as the guns ), but I wondered if I shouldn't make a sword version as well. One to swing, one to shoot.

 

Also. since the damage has to be set as the enchantment in the CK, I'm thinking of having multiple tiers craftable with scaling damage, so you can have a set early on ( gun wise ) with less damage and less bullets, and then having more craftables requiring more requirements and components later on.

 

The other idea I had was to require the previous tier as a component for the next tier, so while technically you would still be crafting, it would be "upgrading" by using your old gun to make a new one that was more powerful.

 

Also, what do you think the highest tier of the guns damage should be? In the video I'm playing on Legendary and am level 98 and the base damage is 200 a shot. My daggers are more than that but require melee range, and magic requires mana. I have no idea if people think it should take 5 shots, 10 shots, or 1 shot to kill a bear when playing on legendary at around level 90.

 

Also keep in mind the damage is an ENCHANTMENT, so it won't scale based on any skill level. While I have some ideas on how to work around that ( like I did with the scaling damage of the Form summon weapons powers ), it wouldn't be the same, and will probably take me a good amount of time to figure out how to do.

 

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

looks awesome, I think you should just do the guns since you already have other blades for celestials, I also like the idea of upgrading it. Not sure about the tiers though.

I discovered a REALLY NASTY BUG with Celestials V6e the other night. A fix has been worked out, but is on hold for my next release. In the meantime, please either :

 

A:) DO NOT USE THE NEW CELESTIAL TORCH ( recommended )

 

B:) DO NOT SAVE THE GAME WHEN HOLDING A CELESTIAL TORCH.

 

The bug is in a mesh in the .nif that has bad vertices ( the crystal gem in the center of the torch ). I have removed it, and also redone the torch to compensate AND make it look better then it was before. It now has a flame effect instead. This fix will go in on the next update so in the meantime please follow those 2 rules above or you will most likely have some major issues with your game.

I have some issues with this mod. Firstly; the breasts look kinda flat and misshaped. I think the bbp mod I have is only animating parts of them, just wondering if I should use a specific one because it works fine with other races. Secondly; the seams for the hands and feet apear to be a bit off in color and placement. I'm not sure what is causing the problems, it's probably a mod I have but since I'm not a modder I can't tell where the conflict might be.

I really love the abilities of this mod, but I'm not a massive fan of the body or armor.  I've tried to unpack the BSA to replace with my own body and armor, but I'm not really getting anywhere.  What should I do to replace the body and textures with UNP, the face with Pretty Face, the Angel Knight armor with the berserker metal armor from this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25846/?tab=3&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D25846%26user%3D1&pUp=1

Heya! I recently installed this mod, and after creating a new character with the custom race Celestial and I noticed that the waist was extremely narrow. This also occurs when equipping the knight armor provided upon loading the game, and it also seems to edit breast shape and size rather dramatically.

 

Is there a fix for this? Or perhaps this is intentional? I'm using CB++ TBBP body.

 

Assistance would be appreciated,

I don't really have the time or the energy to answer the last few questions ( my internet lost it's DNS server for the day, I have no idea if it is back or not because I had to once again do the job of a network admin in my own damn house ), but FOR FUCKS SAKE PEOPLE, read the faqs, PLEASE. Every question that has been asked is answered ALREADY in one way or another on the main page.

I posted a new update as to what I have been working on to my blog just now. The idea and functionality of the Celestial Followers has greatly expanded, and they will not be generic followers.

 

Also, for those of you who don't read my blog, the reason I seemed absent recently was because of my CPU fan kicking the bucket. I had to wait for a replacement. Everything is fine now and I have once again started work on Celestials ( v7 ).

Shaydow, what hair mod on u screenshots in the first post ?

 

TBH I have no idea now. I change hairstyles often. That happens when you have close to 1000 installed ( some part of different packs that are duplicates ).

A quick update on what I've been working on :

 

Changed the level requirements for Celestial unleash and Convergence. Was 30 and 80, respectively, now 15 and 30.

 

Do to both the implementation and popularity of such mods as RaceMenu by Expired and the new ECE racemenu since Celestials was first made, Celestials now start at a normal character height, to be changed as you see fit.

 

Added 2 ( technically 3 ) new perks to the Two - Handed weapon tree. Celestial Rush has 2 rank and and increases your two handed weapon speed by 5% per rank ( max 10% ). Celestial Barbarin requires 5 ranks in Barbarian AND the 2 ranks in Celestial rush AND 100 two handed skill and will increase your two handed weapon damage by an additional 25%.

 

Did the layout to make Shaydow Guns upgradable Via crafting. Base structure is done, and I can now add in any tiers I like at will. The system works by giving you automatically 2 Guns at the start ( or first time mod run ), and from there you craft new guns with the old guns plus materials to make higher damage guns. Still working on balance.

 

Made the Shaydow Armor an ADDON, that will REQUIRE Celestials.esp to run. This is the first of my optional addons for the upcoming v7, and any new releases hopefully after this will be nothing but optional addons in the future. ( there are still like 3 pieces of the set that will be included in the next Celestial release and NOT in the addon, but as high end craftables, simply do to redundancy checks ).

 

Finished completely the celestial followers as summonables. I'm still not sure how I proceed with the giving of said summons in lieu of time before release of v7.

 

For some strange reason, changed the look of Angel Knight Form's boots. After everything else I've done since, I thought the generic High Heels looked outdated. They look a lot better now. I will post some pics of my NifSkope work on them to my blog within the next few days if I get the chance.

 

Probably some other minor stuff I am forgetting.
