Been a long time since I shared. Anyway, I recently released a mod on Nexus called Torches are Magic and I had originally taken some shots before I realized I didn't want to NSFW the mod simply because of my character. So I picked a different spot and put on generic armor and redid all the screens for the mod release. Here are some of the screens I took when I first wanted to show off the mod.

A bit late but if you see this or if anyone else has this problem I have the fix for you. Your Body that you want the overlays to to show up on while wearing the armor needs to be placed above all other pieces in the nif. Here is an example of an order that overlays will NOT work : Chest Armor Shoulder Armor Panty Armor 3ba BODY To fix it you would need to move 3ba to the top of the armor pieces so in the nif it looks like this : 3ba Body Chest Armor Shoulder Armor Panty Armor To do this open the nif in nifskope, target the body BSTriShape and hit cntrl+up arrow keys. Keep hitting CNTRL+up arrow until the body is the first in the list, and then save the nif. Your body overlays will now show up on that piece of armor on the correct body area that is not covered by a piece of armor. The person who made that armor added the body last, so it is last in the list and is what is causing your problem. Hope this helps and have fun. Quick edit to add : You can also just fix this using outfit studio. Load the outfit up and remove everything BUT the body, this will have just a body and nothing else. Now without starting a new project, open the outfit again to your existing project. You will have two bodies, one at the top that was the only thing left from before, and one at the bottom from the original. Simply remove the one at the bottom. This will keep everything the same but have the body placed at the top. Now just save and you are good to go.

So another question, though I can't poll this one, would you prefer a video guide or a written guide? A video guide would allow me to SHOW in " real time " what I am doing instead of using screenshots, but will take me longer to make, I mean WAY longer. A written guide would take me WAY less time to do, but the only downside would be that you would, you know, have to READ. FYI I am leaning to do the guide, as polling is showing a positive and only that one person ( that said no and was the first person to vote! ) seemed to not want it at this point, and I just want to have some feedback as to how to move forward, as again, it is easy once you set it up, but the difficulty lays in setting it up. Also it WILL require MO2, or an understanding of its functions with whatever mod organizer you use. I know this should go without saying but still, thought I should say it.

The first vote was for a NO and then I had no votes for a few days so I figured I would abandon this. Currently there are 9 yes and 1 no, so I might still consider doing this. Again, it will be a detailed guide, that takes a lot to set up, but once you do, all it takes is a mouse click to make Skyrim become what you want at any given time.

So I know some people have 2 Skyrims, a safe for work and then a NOT safe for work. Usually this entails having two different profiles and two different saves / games. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a guide on how to create a single Skyrim play-through that with but a simple click of a button, could go from SFW to NSFW, and you wouldn't need different installs / profiles / etc. I don't know what the interest in this is so I don't want to get into it unless anyone would actually like to learn how. I've set it up for myself so I can swap between different ways I want Skyrim to look / behave based on if I know I am going to be alone or if family is around, and I wonder if anyone else would like to do this. Mind you, this isn't exactly easy, and in some cases, especially armor, will require twice as much hard drive space to pull off, so again, I wonder just how many people would like me to explain how to do this before I get into making a guide for it.

Hey so you know you probably don't have to require a NEW game, but you will require a clean save. 1: Inform your users they need to make a clean save. 2: Be in a single cell alone ( that is NOT tied to the mod ) with no other NPCs or followers. Save the game. Shut the game down. 3: Uninstall your mod. Load the game. Get message mod is missing. Load. 4: Wait for everything to load. Make sure there is nothing still loading in the background. Make a new save. 5: CLEAN the save. I personally use ReSaver ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031/ ) . 6: LOAD the save. Wait for everything again to finish loading. SAVE as a new save. 7: feel free to have users load your new mod. It will be like they just installed it. Myself personally I will probably make a note before I go through these steps of what cards I actually already had and then just use additem menu to give myself back those cards, so that it was like there was never anything lost in the first place. HOPE THIS HELPS.

I'm still on 1.5.97. I am running ALL AE content as well as all newer required content using BEES. I have of yet had no problems. I don't know why anyone would move past 1.5.97, when again, I AM AGAIN STILL ON 1.5.97 AND RUNNING ANY AND ALL CONTENT I WANT.

I like the fact that she practices proper trigger discipline. No lie.

This is what my character looks like when I play Skyrim around my wife and children. Shaydow has always been skimpy, but I don't do nudes. If you feel I don't deserve a like simply because I am dressed, however small, you may want to evaluate some things. If you don't like it because, that is fine. If you don't like it just because you cant see my nipples, you don't have a sense of imagination.

This is untrue. I update my modlist all the time. There are not enough mods currently released for me to count on one hand that are NOT compatible with 1.5.97, pretty much every new mod is still 1.5.97 compatible. I can tell you that I don't have enough hands and feet with everyone in my house to count the amount of mods I have that require 1.5.97 and any newer versions break them. ALL AE CC content released when AE released can be fully used with 1.5.97, and yes, I do recommend new players to start with 1.5.97 as it will make their lives much easier down the road when they start running into the many mods they may want that only will only work with 1.5.97. Saying I don't update my modlist is ridiculous. Want ONE reason to use 1.5.97? NGIO. I won't play without it, and you using an updated version means your not using it, and that means you are missing out. Tell me what major mods am I missing out on you have I can't use?

1.5.9.7 If you are true into modding, this is the version you want.

Not what they were asking for. This, quote " Allows you to register a key to open any specific MCM mod and its page. " Not what was being asked for. They wanted a list of what keys did what and what keys are free, not how to assign keys to open a specific MCM menu.

So much this. I have seen too many mods that the author actually properly navmeshed the worldspace they made, then started BUILDING ON IT. It is like, dude, you had it right, but then you put a fence there, you know NPCs are just going to keep trying to walk THROUGH the fence, right? Building then navmeshing is of course harder then navmeshing then building, but like, ok, you want NPC to always try to walk through that wall? Also as someone who did it ONCE, for one mod, navmeshing is a bitch.
