Would you use them based on looks alone, abilities alone, won't use them at all, don't give a shit? *EDIT* for more information on how these followers were designed, see my blog entry for today ( 10/15/13 ). I like the face, wing, skin tone, and hair of the Devil follower the best. However, her eyes seems like they could be improved. Maybe their size is a little big for my liking or the red is just throwing off her look with all of that other dark color scheme. Did you try her with black hair and maybe a reduced pupil size? In my opinion, the eyes need to be a little more piercing and a little less cute. Anyways, everyone's got an opinion and mine's not any better than anyone else's. Also, thanks for continuing to develop this mod! I thought you had finished after your last release, so this is a plesant surprise.

Na there is more to come, though it's still being worked on and not even ready for an alpha yet, let alone a v7beta. So far v7 will include followers \ Celestial knight summons, guns, a few new powers and balance tweaks to powers, a BRAND NEW BODY that conforms to ALL the original ( non - UNP / Dream from v6 ) armors yet still retains the same feel of the original Celestial body, a new armor set Called Shaydow that is my own personal mashup and re texture of my favorite things from Celestials, and it includes new pieces, and more ( like reworks of all the healing spell FX to use new FX instead of the generic Healing spell FX, teaks to balance of skill gains, Transforms and Revert powers getting a 10 second slow time effect, new perks, etc ).

This has become my favorite.. shot 67 is very nice . once again bravo mate . I do have one question for you my friend. I looked though the blog and these forums and I haven't seen anybody else post this. Or I am half bind and did not see it . So I'm not sure if it is just happening to me .. But it seems that this mod makes the armor go into a new game inventory and equips it. I have a couple of custom race mods that i have tried to move the Xp skeleton nif over to but with no luck . So what happens is when I try to make a new game with that custom race it will CTD on me.. But only when I change sex to a female... It will work with a male, makes him invisible until I take the armor out of the inventory . Then I have to showracemenu to change the sex to female.. Its no big deal its a easy work around , was just wondering if I was the only one with this issue. one again thanks for the awesome mod still love it. edit I found others with the same issue.... so I'm not blind after all lol. But ill leave this post up so maybe someone can use the method I use to fix the issue.. Still cant get my custom race female to use the armor though.. Not sure what I am doing wrong with the Xp skeleton nif.. the game loads just fine when i move the nif over to my custom but there is no body and the camera view is on the ground lol. tried moving the 1st person nif over too still didn't work .

The armor is SUPPOSE to be auto equipped when you make a new character, though as discussed earlier, I'm probably going to remove that feature ( I like it, some don't ). However even if I remove that feature your still going to run into problems, as if you can't equip the Gift armor, you probably won't be able to use the Forms either.

I like the fact that the armor is auto equipped, I have no issues there. The race I was trying for is the Noiral race. It is really not a big deal if I can't get it to work on that one race. I will link it in this post, but it has also been added as a spoiler to the main post in case this post gets buried. *EDIT* note that this body is 2.5, and is not using the same mesh or textures as the ones I showed a few posts back when I first began work on it. Using a custom HDTPhysicsExtension.xml as WELL as making the new body with that XML in mind led to the effects seen in the video. The current Celestial Body will NOT have the same type of effects ( though it will still have some type of HDT physics attached to it of course ) using the basic HDTPhysicsExtension.xml or leo4deks hdt.xml for collision. Note that I have been unable to combine both the custom 'realism' effect and the collision effect. It is one or the other. leo4dek's xml is something really different. I understand the added capsules, but he is missing a lot of other things like constraints and spring_dampeners, and whenever I try to add them in it just leads to CTDs. I asked him about it but he never answered. Without an answer I don't think I will ever be able to do it, simply because I lack the required knowledge to achieve the goal. Since the collision only works currently with ONE idle animation and some sex stuff, and those aren't anything I care for personally, v7 and the new 2.5 body will just have the ability to use the more realistic effect if desired over the base HDT effect. Collision will be left up to the player if they so desire. It was only shown in the video to show how such an effect would interact with the new body.

I tried this when I saw it done in other nifs. However my understanding is using a Strings instead of a String is for attaching 2 different effects for the same piece. Otherwise one overwrites the other. Example of StringS that work : The piece effects the breast movement of the chest and also has cloth attached to the arms. 2 Strings are needed. Example that doesn't work : Using Strings to add two effects that both effect the chest.

See if you look, or maybe I will be nice and try to explain, here is how the effects of the XML's work : Inside each XML is a list of effects attached to bones. These bones are like the normal node bones you are used to in nifs, except that they are new bones and attached to the piece through something like 3dmax \ blender \ etc, for anything that is not your normal skeleton. The base HDTPhysicsExtension.xml uses the bone nodes found in XP32's Maximum skeleton. Things like Hairs \ capes \ skirts \ etc have new bones. The XML has a list telling the nif it is attached to how to effect these new bone nodes. HDTPhysicsExtension.dll controls the basics, and the XML then controls the movement. So for example I create a new cape with new bones attached and to control movement a new XML and those bones are called " shaydowcapebone01, shaydowcapebone02, shaydowcapebone03, etc " then the XML will point to those bones, and you will see an entry that has the physics data named "shaydowcapebone01 " in the XML with the XYZ data needed to control the movement. When something like the basic HDTPhysicsExtension.xml and leo4deks hdt.xml both point to the same bone node for manipulation, in this case things like L Breast and L breast01, then the two are both trying to tell the skeleton how to manipulate the movement, since they are the same, only one can tell it what to do. Hope this makes sense.

It seems that my first attempt at combing both effects was a failure due in part to me using leo4deks V1 collision file while trying to add hdt data from an updated version of HDTPhysicsExtension.xml ( hence why I couldn't find certain data entries in leo4deks xml ), and today when I looked into his V2 I saw the data there, but still wasn't sure what needed to be replaced. This was because of my own stupidity for the most part. leo4dek simply numbered his controllers differently since I guess he has more of them, but once I figured out what was controlling what ( and the placement of them within the XML makes this easy enough ) I was actually able to combine both of them! So, woot! Also have been fine tuning the realistic effect a bit more. Some examples are butt bounce has been toned down in both amount and in time, to be more realistic, breasts will hang down just a small amount more now ( controlled through the Celestial Skeleton ), sway just a very tiny bit more, and have a slightly longer movement time to them after the player stops moving ( I didn't like how they would just stop moving after just a moment of having done an action ). Once I'm done fine tuning it a bit more I will make a new video highlighting the changes.

I keep meaning to expand the lore, as there IS a reason why all Celestials are female ( and no it is not a sexist thing, or if it is, it is against men ). Think Amazonian if they had achieved a higher being. Celestials can only bear female children, and mate with outside "breeders" to have those female children. Men are considered obsolete, and there are none on the Celestial Plane. When population numbers start to lower, Celestials simply travel to another plane, find suitable partners, then leave. Since they are from another plane of being, they can not stay to long or risk becoming mortal ( something you as a Celestial Race WILLING choose to do at the start of the game based on my lore ). I've toyed with the idea of adding in NPC Celestials you meet along the way that also choose to give up being able to return to the Celestial Plane, either maybe based on love ( emotion is a strong force ), maybe based on agreeing more with ideals, kinship, etc. This however is a MUCH more future project, as I always seem to have to much on my plate as is it. The armor and forms are designed with this concept in mind, and so no, there are no male counterparts to it. If playing a male, all armors and forms will give you an invisible body, simply because I never made or assigned a mesh to them. I've tried to figure out a way to completely disallow the MALE selection under Celestial Race, but so far have been unsuccessful.

I got it from bbs.3dmgame.com I had to fix the hairline, and I've retextured it from the original. The hair can be found WITHOUT physics in the NumeNume hair pack on Nexus. This would be required to get it to work. I will see if I can dig up the thread later.

I will NOT be taking requests, and will only be converting armors I either personally like, or I find easy and not very time consuming to do. Others are much better and faster at conversions then me, so maybe once the body is released some others may wish to do conversions for it or take requests. *EDIT* I feel like an idiot. I put up pictures showing the work I was doing with the 2.0 body, before I updated it to it's now final version ( 2.5 ). I will repost some pics once I get the chance to take new ones. Doh.
