Case in Point, Mod Organizer 2 is currently broken. Its actually worse than NMM. To give an idea, It is randomizing the load order without input from me. It is only half installing the mods, and just "forgets" to install the dll's, which causes them to fail.  It does not even recognize a large portion of mods unless they come directly from Nexus, and even then, it does not recognize all of them. Like F4SE, It wont validate regardless of where it was downloaded from, and so it wont allow it to be installed nor does it recognize a manual installation. I tried to contact the devs behind MO2 and F4SE but they quieter than a graveyard regarding anything to do with bug reports. 

After a few changes,i was able to get Vortex working just fine, took a reboot and reinstall to get it to load. 

 

The Fucking Manual works perfectly fine, just because it was originally posted in 2020 has no bearing as it is constantly updated.  Every single mod in that guide has been tested by multiple people.  Just because a mod is older than a guide has no meaning as to whether it will function properly.  We've helped thousands of people to get AAF working.  I'm sorry that you ran into so many problems but the fault is not the guide.  The thread you are posting in now was created in 2018 and the information here is deprecated.

 

Furthermore, I replied back to your post in The Fucking Manual but you didn't respond.  If you want help next time, please check your replies.  Or even join the Discord for support as that is where we prefer to assist folks.

 

MO2 also works perfectly fine.  It doesn't do what you claim, but I have no idea what problem you faced.  I'm glad you got it working, but I think you ran into some strange issues that aren't normally faced by others.  We don't support Nexus Mod Manager because it is extremely difficult to manage mod load order with it and that can cause many problems.  Even Nexus themselves abandoned it in favor of Vortex.

I ran into a problem where AAF does not end scenes. When the time is up and the scene is supposed to be over, AAF is stuck at "Position: Unjoining"

 

Anyone know how I can fix this? I saw earlier in the thread that Indarello encountered this problem and found it to be AAF_STATS and AAFThemes. I tried disabling both of those, but that did not fix the problem for me.

Hi.  Make sure you have thoroughly followed The Fucking Manual.  The thread we are in right now is very old and much of the information is deprecated.  If you continue to see this problem after going back through the current guide that I just linked, and double check that you have nothing on the "skip" list, and all the versions for the mods you downloaded match what is required, then please join the AAF server for assistance.  AAF Themes is a major requirement for animations working so you don't really want to disable that.  However, AAF Stats is super old and I don't think it was implemented in any other mods, and we don't list it in our guide so I would not use that one.

You're replying to a very old and outdated thread and I'm not sure whether the issue you are having is directly related to AAF or if the issue is with Devious Devices + some other mod.  But if you need assistance, please first make sure you followed The Fucking Manual.  If the problem is that nsfw animations are not starting in your game, I suggest joining the AAF Discord server for further support.

So, I have an issue with AAF Family planning enhanced redux. I was trying to use the AAF debug for gender changing because one of my companions who is female was showing up as male on the AAF scene creator, but now my character (also female) is now showing up as male and I have tried to use the gender change debug multiple times reloading saves, saving and exiting to see if it would work but nothing has. I even reinstalled family planning redux and AAF and nothing work, any ideas on why?

I tried the missing themes it got rid of some error, but it still didn't fix the issue I am having. I have also now tried the AAF gender select mod and so far that has also not helped. I don't know what is wrong.

I also tried to restart family planning and it still reads my character as male.

there Should be a work around in the settings itself to change your character to an aaf "Female" while still being male.. maybe that will work

I am having the same problem but see no answer to your question. Did you resolve this? Does anyone have a fix for this?

tbh only way i fixed was installing different themes, one day it just worked Okish. Ive sense rolled off this back to the older version without all the addons required, that one works perfectly with M.C.G

This was 'a bit' complicated 'til i finally found the solution for this one. Just check if the body morphs (AAF Compatability Patch) have been overwritten. Those are needed to get any erection at all.

Is this step still valid? I cant find this patch and the link is broken. Any help?

I got on a new computer and had started from scratch on my mods before I knew mods could be transferred between NMM.  However, I'm having AAF SEU: hotkeys disabled during AAF scenes when I target someone and press ' to try flirting.  I don't know what this is.  Pressing Home key does not start up AAF.

I reinstalled AAF, because when I would go to AAF Purgatory, after dying, the camera would detach to the floor, and the character would stay stuck in a random pose, lying on the ground; also because uninstalling AAF Violate Mods caused my game to catch an error of AFF Error 74 (AAF is installed incorrectly, and save is corrupted). Now, since I have only AAF installed, and selected an earlier save, AFF is detected, and I can go to "Home". My only gripe is there's a warning, called "*Warning* [78] Unlimited Companion Framework not installed". Just to be safe, does it matter if Unlimited Companion Framework is installed?
