This time-I know shocker right-is another goal oriented social party outgoing events type of DLC. It appears to be the 'road to fame' expansion pack from the surveys. According to a reliable source its coming November 6th. instantmagic Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I don't think EA is as bad as candy crush, the worst! I was hoping for University life ep next or even better Sunlit Tides. I loved the Island life in Sims 3. I wish EA would listen to it's own Fans instead of just releasing "New" stuff.

I mean, I hope this pack doesn't flop. I've been so disappointed with 4 lately. I miss 1 and 2. 3 is just broken on my new rig

I think every Sims has had some kind of Showtime/Fame pack and you have a lot of sims players that don't use any CC or mods so maybe this is aimed at that group.

Fleshing out ghosts from base game, and vampires from Late Night. People were hyped at the Seasons teaser gif thinking it was related to Witches. Obviously wrong and many were upset me included. Because Seasons is half baked and makes the game run poorly. With a lot of lag. Every version of the Sims has had a celebrity pack and every version there are some people that like it and some people that don't (non-generational bias by EA withstanding). I understand you are someone that does not like the idea of this theme but can we try not to fall into the equivalent of "them darn millennials" while using autism in a rather derogatory fashion when referring to the demographic EA is targeting. Who is to say that additional (because there really has not been much by way of "new") life states are not coming soon as one or individual packs (cause I would like to pick honestly) or some may even be added to this pack? Didn't vampires come as part of some clubbing expansion for Sims 2 and 3? As you are up to date will all the latest sim news, we still don't know how the changes for the python version will affect game-play. I have Seasons as well and don't have the same issues you do but who is the say that will not change after the update. Perhaps it isn't just an issue with the game itself but the computers it is being played on? While you are not alone in having issues there seems to be an equal if not greater number people who are not. The great thing about the Sims games is there has always has been the ability to chose your experience. I think I will just wait and see what the next DLC fully offers before either choosing to add it and enjoy what I like about it or pass completely and wait for something else that sparks my interest. As EA is a business, their marketing department thrives on instant responses one way other so why not make them work a little harder and simply wait them out, monetarily and response-wise?

Besides this providing optional base material for more mods, it relieves Sacrificial of the burden of updating his Road to Fame mod which was created due to there being a lack of an equivalent of The Sims 3: Nightlife for The Sims 4. Less mods needed means less script lag caused by accessing scripts in the mod folder. The Python update is the thing that modders might need to worry about, not this expansion.

The good part about this ep is probably the new possibility for future porn career mods or stuff like that. and maybe sacrificial can make his road to fame mod less shitty, if not I hope that ep is a good replacement

Will wait for Wicked Whims stuff to incorporate the DLC before I even consider buying it. Just not my cup of tea with the whole fame thing. Plus the world is based off of California and I do not need to go into details as to why that makes it worse (Just look at the real thing).

It's just a concept from Sims 3 Late Night but at least they're recycling something from a GOOD expansion at least. I cant run my sims 3 anymore no matter how hard I try. The sims 3 launcher will not load so I am forced to play the Sims 4. It's alright but extremely limited in comparison. Knowing me I'll probably buy it but feel guilty afterwards.
