[/quote'] I'm having the same problem you are in terms of not being able to set voice on the menu (Remains open, has no effect). I was looking over the load orders of those who also had the same problem and have two questions are you using Darnified Ui and are you using anything from the lovers Minor Mod pack?

[/quote'] Could you tell me how you check the hidden flag? Since we don't know how much the dialog will change for each choice, it's hard to tell if it works or not.
Slammer64 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 You'll need to fire up CS with OBSE and LoversVoice and look for the clothing piece called xLoversPkrCharacter, open it up and mark it as playable, it'll show in the inventory then. The flags should have numbers beside them in inventory for instance, I am playing a male PC with the In Control personality so in my inventory it will show xLoversPkrCharacter 54. Males are 51-55 and females are 41-45 and 61-63.

There is not dialog written for the personalities in every context (consensual, non-consensual, public, sleeping, etc etc), personalities only have specific dialog for sex between lovers from the dating component of the plugin. It is however something I'm looking explore adding and expanding on if I decide to start adding in my own dialog to the plugin rather than just the translated stuff, which I really want to get around to.

Since a few seemed to be saying it wasn't when the dialog wouldn't close when choices were made. Since I run Dark DarUI I've run into that problem before but it still seems to function properly. If you'd like any help with that I'd be glad to give you a hand. Just rewrote LoversMagic for my own use, got tired of using all my slots in MCS and integrated LoversSlavePlay into it, may have to rewrite again since LovesVoiceSSP is out now. BTW, I'm going to be starting the next translation of LoversMagic as soon as I can get time free from work.

Mirrorimage Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I was actually surprised how much setting your own personality affects dialogue during sex. True, I'd say half of the lines are independent of your personality and it only really shows during consensual sex, but it's still fun to try the different personalities and how they fit in. I can also confirm that the mod works fine with DarNified UI, the message box does indeed not close when you click a personality, but it -is- applied to your character. Just close the window manually with the close button after picking your personality. What I'd suggest to everyone playing is to just try the personalities and see which one fits best. The name of a personality doesn't always fully describe how your character will act... Pick one and go find a partner. I've written a small guide to help people find the best personality for their character. Since it is a bit offtopic and people might want to try for themselves, I've added a spoiler tag to it. This only contains the female personalities for now, I don't have a male PC around to test the male ones. Also keep in mind that your personality mostly affects your lines when you have sex with your lover. Having casual sex with people or being raped usually doesn't produce many personality-specific lines, possibly even being out of character sometimes (like your character threatening to kill her rapists even if you picked a submissive or forgiving personality). "I am very kind and graceful" Pretty much what it says on the tin. You're a sensitive person and make a big deal out of "feeling connected" during sex. "I am full of vim and vigor" You're very energetic and love sex. You like taking it fast. I'd even say impatient. "I tend to hide my real emotions" Pretty much the opposite of vim and vigor. You prefer taking it slow and seem a bit more reluctant during sex. "I am the instrument of others" You're submissive. You tend to call your lover "master" and let them use you as they like. Compare this one with "I live only to serve my masters" below. "I am young and enjoy a good time" You like to sleep around, and you like sex a lot. You tend to tell your lovers they are "so much better than the last guy you slept with" "I know how to act a proper lady" What it says on the tin. You're a proper lady that really should unwind and have sex now and then. "I live only to serve my masters" This one is similar to instrument of others, but even more submissive. You're pretty much a slave with this one. I'd say the biggest difference is that instrument seems like someone who accepted her fate, and this one actually enjoys it a lot. "I am a man, cursed to be a woman." Note that this is NOT a tomboy or boyish acting woman. It literally means your character was a man who got sexchanged into a woman. This one doesn't seem to have a lot of unique lines, but their lines are very clear about this. "I am wise and mature" Like it says on the tin. Your character is a mature woman, possibly in their 30s or even 40s. You enjoy having sex. "I am a servant of the Nine Divines" Your character is a priestess or nun in the service of the church. Expect a lot of divinely and fate themed lines. I also get the impression that sex is kind of a forbidden pleasure for your character, possibly you have sworn celibacy. She does mention she can get kicked from church if she gets pregnant... "I treat everyone like family" You treat people you care about like true friends. You're very kind and forgiving. When you have sex with your lover it's like two longtime or even childhood friends taking it a step further.

After the sex I get one new sentence about the beauty of my character or s.th. similar. The 'relationship' seems not to advance in any way. It's just like having another introline for the sex. I recognized during a sneak through one of the castles that the servants talked quite a lot of lines. I do not get any lines during the sex only when I am raped I get new lines now. I made a custom race mit imperial voiceset. Can this be the problem?

Like I said in the original post, the male NPC dating functionality is VERY limited compared to female NPCs. The male NPC personalities just aren't built out as much in the other functions. Male personalities are completely omitted from the [Talk About Love] and [Talk About Sex] topics you get with dating female NPCs, which is the biggest part of advancing your relationship with the NPC. This is something I'm looking to change when I start adding to plugin, as I play a female character and lesbian's bore me.

uglycat Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 i've also noticed missing dialog from rapeslaveplay after turning this mod on. not sure why. i looked into the esp a bit, but just ended up confusing myself. also: i forgot to do this earlier, but thanks to all 5 of you, Ashal, Nightwynd, Merctime, HoroBoro, Groovlus, for doing all the translation. like i said, i poked around the esps, and there are just lines and lines and lines of dialog that had to get translated. fantastic job. and of course, thanks to the original author.

uglycat Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 oh yeah, i definitely had a feeling it was some load order issue. i'm following one of the load order guides that was posted here, but there have been new versions of a fair amount of mods since then, so there's probably issues that cropped up over time. it's not a critical issue for me as i use the MCS so i can get them to follow that way instead.

However I decided that I'd change the rape sayings and make them a little more harsh because I have my settings set so rape mainly only occurs during battle. So I spent about an hour or so editing the rape dialogue so that it fits the way I wanted it to. Then low and behold when I start up the game it crashes. So I put the original version of Lovers Voice SSP Plus back in and it worked fine. So just to test I edited a single line of dialogue in the file in the CS and yet again..after saving the .esp it crashes. For some reason it seems like regardless of what I change in the .esp it crashes every time I modify it in the CS. Anyone else have this issue or know a work around?
