Dabbling is about all. There just are not enough resources Of good quality, mainly in the Utility side for me to feel comfortable Modding skyrim, and Steam compounds the problems I really am losing interest in skyrim. It is mainly due to steam, it is separating the modding community. For a mod able game, I think steam was a bad move [Not that that is going to be changed]. Beth has always gained more than they lost in innovations that modders have added, many from morrowind were taken, and placed in OB, and I see the same thing in Skyrim. This split in the modding community it troubling to me. OB actually until Skyrim is opened up a little more is really better modding fun. and I think we have barely touched on what can be done with the latest OBSE. So yeah I have been Modding in OB, but have been giving Crowning Island a rest, while I test out some other Ideas.

[/quote'] Hi, galgat, glad to see you sticking with Oblivion for a bit longer. Will your new mods, particularly the blackmail one be available to male characters as well? If you have no desire to add a male path in the blackmail mod are you then opposed to others, like myself trying to add it later? I'm asking since I rather liked to idea of lovers dark lesson but was dismayed that it could not be played with a male character.

Yes, to tell you the truth, right now, Skyrim is not looking that good for modding the type mods I can entertain myself while modding. This is getting better, but LoversPK has spoiled me. Not having to set up all the positions as I had to in mods before lovers the original came out. The original lovers before they made it LoversPK was actually very easy to use also. But loversPK which was pretty much a Japanese improvement of Lovers ( I want to say Doubleday created originated the Lovers, but I may be wrong) is of course very much better. [As to dual Dialog] I have said this many time, I am not trying to be mean, but probably not, I just don't like trying to do dual dialog's. They cause me to much head ache. [To fix this for your self] Normally it would be just a matter of looking through the script, and locating the GetIsSex Male |or| Female or the dialog condition for the same sort of thing like Getpcsex female == 1 and removing them or commenting them out. If you do not mind the female associated text. I remember having to do this with many mods for my own use that others made with out female text. Sexlivion comes to mind, then a wonderful person made sexlivion for girls which I translated, and tes nexus jerked off there downloads section right after I got it thank goodness. I did manage to get it before they thew there little tantrum. That was a strange thing, because right after they took that persons mod off, someone put a combination of sexlivion, and sex darkness up, which pretty much took stuff from all three mods. [ Nexus is a social ranking sort of place ] I even do this with games like witcher. of course with them I also had to do some body switching. it is good modding practice.
lolicatgirls9 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Hey, so, about the part with all the damn goblins - how long does it take to achieve the first rank? The monkey dude says it takes 8 bottles for every rank, and I've got about 25 right now.
galgat Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 you can check your status in rank, the first rank up takes about 20 attacks, then about every 9 or 10 after that you go up again, you will see a different picture, and title with each rank up. It is a slow laborious process, but you are traped in the cave until you can finish. And submitting to the goblins is your only chance to escape I should have made it a little less long, but that was the way i scripted it. the professor there gives you clue's as to your slow progress, and checking your rank is also a clue to let you know you are moving up in goblin status. it takes awhile. but you should never be able I don't think to get 25 bottle's because with each rank you get some taken away. I don't remember exactly, but I think you get like 20 bottle's, and then rank up and like 8 or 10 are removed. which leaves you with way more than booty needs. it was just and easy way to script it with a stable number for each rank up. seems like its about 55 rapes to get out of there..Darn that would really make a girl sore..LOL I would always set the time really short on the attacks in lovers setting to speed it up when testing, watch setting them to low though, that can make trouble. Or it has caused me trouble before.

galgat Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 it may be messed up, did ya go back and talk to the monkey man, that is who will finish the quest. I know once you have reached top rank the goblins ignore you. they no longer attack you.

The ranking thing never updated, but I finished my duties. So now I just need to get back to the Siren village with that shake... Um... I kind of... completely forgot how to get there. Could you remind me please?

I got the key for the long laborious service to the goblins, and what ever else was given. I do these long thing's be cause There is a Brutality to forced rape that is hard to express in a game with no feeling's. So trapping the player in this sort of environment at least gives them a little frustration of being forced to preform against there will. And in your case it looks like it worked. Sorry if it made you mad, and I hope it works out, I mean you could have a bug that i know nothing about.

Right now if I leave the Island the pirate Alchemist doesn't offer to send me back again. Having just 1 dog and horse to work with takes a little bit of fun out of it. Loving this mod btw great work on it thank you.
galgat Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 there are many dogs on the islands, and booties ring will take you back to the Main Island, also there are many horses on the area designated as Horse Island, in the dirty bay area. You should be finding way more than 1 dog. and one horse. and if you have not used setstage, the portals should be open to return to siren island anytime. or Booty will send you back. if the portals have not been opened yet.

I get bugs all the time with all the mods I've got installed, so I'm used to it. All that matters is that it worked out, and that's all it needs to do. I will say that Lily (my character) is going to need quite a vacation after this... maybe I can find a Ferris Bueller's Day Off kind of mod.
galgat Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 I am glad you finally managed to preform your way out, I don't think any of the other quest's will be quite as long in that sort of nature, There are many many more, still ahead of you. But they are somewhat less lengthy in numbers, however if you have not learned where all things are on the islands, are how to get around you may be like visby, who did not seem to know there way around the islands, and where things were. I had someone else complain about only one dog, and horse. when depending on where you are at there are quite a few. You just need to know where they are at. explore the islands a bit as you open them up, they are pretty safe, I have not added much in the way of attacking creature's or bandits. A few, but not many. The rape bandits are there, they have a little problem sometimes firing if you have other mods that use the Bandits Faction on there rapist's. It is a minor conflict {mods like the prison rape mods, and loverstruecrime dominate the bandits faction, and cause mine to misfire sometimes} that I can not compensate for, as I have to use that faction also. As I am sure they do as well. But the most that will happen then, is the rape bandits just won't fire, and don't attempt to rape you. Or will rape you one time aand the ignore you from then on.

If oblivion is not told to do so it will ignore those files and instead us the vanilla files stored in the bsa. I guess I have been living in the dark..LOL But I try to avoid things that mess with Vanilla Oblivion, and main stay Loverspk mods like rapeS, adultplay. But these variations of the same mod, It is impossible to avoid conflicts with those, as they code monkey so much, and mix and match code from different mods so much. And those that do not make there own faction's and use existing one's for forced content. They are also impossible to avoid conflicts with as they will conflict with everything anyway. such as using existing animal factions, and bandit faction's other than just to identify the NPC are really over powering. They always have potential to muck up other mods. I do try to avoid conflict, but is just not a thing that I think anyone can avoid. Quest mods are particularly vulnerable to other mods more so that just a ravage me, or ask to be to be ravaged mod. I did crowning isle, and Built all the new areas, in the hopes of avoiding everyone Else's mod's, and giving me freedom to change what I wanted. Making a world that was entirely free of Oblivion, but that still did not work. They still leak through into my mod. And I leak into theirs. Its is always going to be a problem.

As long as players who dl and play quest based mods actually read and pay attention to author's warnings in the readme or OP the player will have a relatively trouble free game experience. CrowningIsle was the first mod of its kind that I played when I discovered LL. At the time I had just gone on a dl frenzy and had a load of mods running which conflicted badly. Personally, I have an experimental approach to the whole thing and dont get bent out of shape when things go wrong. When I have a problem with a quest-based mod I go through a process of elimination to find the culprit, whilst working on the premise that the quest-based mod is the "innocent party" and remove anything that might conflict. Start a clean save and build from there. Only reporting when I run out of options. The answer is often that I've overlooked something that should have been obvious to me.

When you enter {id} domain first time, there is a person by a cave that tells you to get a key from the belly of a whore. these ladies there were like 6 or 8 of them, they randomly have a key. It can be in any one of them, but you must have sex with them until you get it. Once this key is obtained, you may enter the small cave. from there after a little captivity you will be led into the base of the main building. there you may encounter Daedra, and make you way [2 different paths up the citadel] But not all the way to the top. you should get another quest, from a lady part way up the Citadel, That asks you to help a farmer in the dirty bay area. After receiving this quest you are sent back to where you entered the {id} domain. there is nothing else to do here at this time, and no reason to ever come back here [ I intend to do much more with this area latter, but Nothing more is there now, except you can explore if you want]. Leave and go help the farmer in the Dirty bay area. NOTE:: Sometimes the crawling animations hangs even after you have been freed. normally a save, exit game, and reload will fix this. Maybe that will help you some.
