having the same issues as others have pointed out. Implementing the SSE engine tweaks is not a reliable method either im afraid (at least for anyone using 1.6 AE skyrim versions) as pointed out in the comments of this mod that makes the tweaks: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/109080?tab=posts&BH=0

Cuases various crashes of EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION each pinpointing something random in the crash logs.

Mods like this will drive me to my grave. Is there a detailed guide somewhere? I use CBBE 3BA, Fill her up, Survival and Milk Mod Economy. Nothing works or just spins around. My bodyslide settings are working as they should.

Does anyone happen to have a template for me?

SLIF has pretty much always worked after installation for everything but Milk Mod Economy.

For it to work with Milk Mod Economy and 3BA, one have to install patch for 3BA (Is linked to it in Milk Mod Economy thread), and be careful to follow the settings EXACTLY as in pictures in the Milk Mod Economy threads.

Do any deviation and it will not work.

Ah, so that was what caused all those random crashes!

In all honestly it seemed completely random, since I sometimes could play for hours without a crash and then I could have a couple of crashes in an hour.

Never figured out what it was before I started to try to set up a 1170 build.

Guess that is one of the reasons I do not have any crashes now (No SLIF installed yet) when I play. 😛

Edit:

Did install devious devices and EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION started to happen.

Guess I should try SLIF without DD to see if they each apart causes them.

MCM for this is absolutely terrible XD Does anyone know how to make sliders work as MAX of inflation values instead of SUM? It was 100x easier on SLIF LE xD I'm getting ridiculously gigantic belly when FHU gets max value together with some pregnancy mod.

A shame that SSE Engine fixes breaks this, it's such a good mod to have but not better than overall stability

I does? I have SSE engine fixes and SLIF works fine for me. Well "works" as much as we may consider it working.

Is it possible to assign new sliders to SLIF? I want to tell it to morph breasts to a specific preference shape, but the available sliders are a bit lacking!

I'm running SLIF with MME using the 3BA body (and the SLIF json file for 3BA), and noticed that (finally) the Belly node worked.  The breast nodes do not work with MME though.  I noticed that MME addresses the slif_breast node in the code, but there should be an extra "s" at the end of that.  After that change, MME affects the breast size correctly.

Also I added a separate max belly slider to the MME MCM, and an option to make the belly a function of both lactacid and milkmaid level.  In case anyone is interested 😛

I can post a patch for the lastest MME later (next week), but it will only be for SE.

Please share! MME hasn't been updated in a long time and it was always buggy for me on SE/AE.

Took me ages to figure out that my 3BA SLIF was actually working correctly for everything EXCEPT Default Modus Breasts.

Why?

... Because 3BA doesn't have the NPC L/R Breast bones skinned, and XPMSSE doesn't have them listed as nodes either. So maybe we need a SLIF patch? idk shits weird

Do not use Default Modus with 3BA. Use Body morphs instead.

Yeah, I have been learning that also. Since previous post i learned 3 things:

  • That you can actually get Hormones(2023) to use SLIF Morph modus, by ticking both the SLIF and Bodymorph options. The "Pick One" in MCM is incorrect.
  • That you CAN get Default modus to work with 3ba by modifying NiOverride.json and your Lists file.
  • That 'conversion' of nioverride to bodymorphs, the feature i used to love SLIF for, seems to no longer work in any circumstance. I briefly skimmed the code and couldn't see an obvious way it would ever work.
  • SL DIsparity (and probably other old mods) reference methods which are no longer in SLIF_Main

Is it possible to manually add an actor to a mod? I hit the button to register an actor in SLIF (NP9) but they don't have any mods listed, and thus don't have any values or sliders listed.

You can use SLIF's internal "mod". Go to "Toggles" tab and tick "Auto register SLIF for each NPC". Tick both if you use both Default and Morph Modus. Next time you register a NPC they will have a mod called "SL Inflation Framework".

I think for SLIF to actually (re-)apply bodymorphs on NPCs on game load and cell change, you need to have the SLIF Scanner activated. I can be wrong, though.

Just FYI: The Scanner can introduce stutters every time it runs if you have too many mods in your load order.

Oh, I see! I thought the "auto register SLIF for each NPC" would register every NPC that's loaded into the framework, similar to pressing numpad 9 on every single NPC. That didn't sound like something useful. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, SLIF is not very intuitive... Through trial and error you will eventually come to understand SLIF's MCM and its functions.
