Guest Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I hope the game developers decide to add in 3rd person view. I mean come on, you spent time on creating your own character but never had a change to see your avatar. Overall based on the game demo. Looks awesome. Looking forward on the final touches before we see the final release gameplay. Lastly I wanted from them is having us the options to mod this beautiful game. That is all I wanted.
slimbones Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Surprised no one mentioned how the game is trying to have full frontal female nudity. Doubt they will be able to leave that in.

It will just get M (ESRB) and 18+ (PEGI) rating.

Nudity is shocking american people, for europeans it's violence that get high ratings.

Vechernyaya Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 You're right of course. Any games where the player can kill people is 18+ for PEGI. My point was just : nudity =/= PEGI 18.
iikagen Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Actually there aren't any genitals shown in Witcher? The cutscenes avoid angles that reveal it and the women all wear panties after the sex scene because it's not modelled. You need mods to add them. It would be cool if they went totally nude this time in Cyberpunk for both sexes. Also hope they have more TPP cutscenes like the morning scene so you can see more of your custom character.

It will likely amount to a digital merkin laid on top of a featureless mound like in every other non-porn game that claims to have female full frontal nudity.

I generally prefer TPP games to FPP, but there have been plenty of the latter I've enjoyed immensely over the years, and this is shaping up to be another. I agree: FPP can be a lot of fun. Also, cutscenes (and other gameplay features - perhaps implants, mirrors, computer monitors, etc) can give you other perspectives. Also, in the gameplay preview trailer, there was a time where you looked down and saw your legs. That was brief, but narcissism was not the main focus of that trailer. That said, people are going to find things they hate about the game. It will be too fast, too slow, too big, too small, too hard, too easy, and so on. And, in every other game I have played long enough, I have started noticing the glitches where some aspect of it did not get the attention that I would have liked, and if it's moddable, that will make it better and worse... Whatever... I find that many people - sometimes trolls, sure, but sometimes respected people or even my own friends - hate the things that I like and like the things I hate.
Aria Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Im kinda torn on this, on one side i love their games but their decision to go FPP only has killed my interest. I love to rp as the person i see on my screen not floating hands and frankly i find their whole statement "muh immersion" ridiculous after i seen the combat where it looks like you only have a pair of floating hands that slide and dodge around holding the gun without any impact from the environment on your body. I know its wip but so far i havent seen anything ground breaking like some people seem to claim.
Jeff_9 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I was somewhat interested in the game because it's being made by CDPR, but after seeing the trailer and the gameplay video I'm super hyped. I really hope we get a REDkit this time because I really want to create things in this world.
Ernest Lemmingway Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I'm doing what I did with TW3: waiting until all the DLC is bundled together with the base game and the patches are out. Not that I'm not looking forward to it, but painful experience has taught me that patience really is a virtue. Both for my sanity and my wallet. First Person, Third Person, I can swing either way. I just hope the controls are as fluid and intuitive with a controller as they are with TW3.

Even if they claim they will with Cyberpunk, chances are good it won't happen.

They killed it with their dedicated FPP and third person for random scenes and driving. Defeated the purpose of character customization when your chances of seeing your character are when they want you to see your character, not when you want to see your character. Bad move in my opinion and I'm going to go out on a limb as say that their sales will probably not reach the heights of Witcher 3 for this move. if it does, good for them. But that's my guess.

Witcher games never were fully nude only boobs and ass. The closest aaa games come is to gave a digital merkin kind of like what Conan exiles does where its just pubic hair not a fully modeled labia

Yeah the whole character costumization is pointless for SP, the reason why there is one is probably because of the multiplayer. Their target group is mainly the fps crowd i would say and from the looks of it cyberpunk is basically a better deus-ex. They are going to surpass the sales of witcher3 by far, the fps crowd is enormous and looking at the like ratio of their trailer and gameplay they are going to make a killing. I dont have much hope for modding but if they are going to support it this time, someone is probably going to do a TPP mod, atleast for exploration. Honestly i hope they make tons of money, means more quality games from them in the future, im just disappointed i might have to wait a few more years for a game that has both perspectives like i was hoping for cyberpunk.

Yeah, you're probably right. And the FPP fanboys are rejoicing there is no TPP option. They are just as vile as the Beth fanboys. I turned my back on CDPR just like Beth. I think they should have come out and stated that the game wouldn't have TPP as an option, but I pretty sure they didn't do so because of PR marketing reasons. But if I had known a long time ago before E3, I wouldn't have been disappointed from the hype building up from all those years. I am pretty sure most people would have accepted by then and there wouldn't have been all this heavy criticism. But I have learned my lesson that regardless if a developer chooses to reveal their WIP of their upcoming project or the new trend of staying silent, take what you hear, see from everyone including the developers themselves with a grain of salt. Even if it's a company that's consumer friendly.
