I hope it will be moddable as the Witcher 3, V waking up dressed after a night of sex was weird, even if CDPR is far less shy than american developers about nudity.

 

And the mosaic censorship on the gender selection screen was unnecessary.

Apparently it was. The journalist viewing at e3 supposedly had full nudity.

 

I forsee this thing eating what is left of my gaming days. As for modding, if it allows mods it will be an inevitability. Not sure what manner of adult mods will be useful or do-able in a first person game. But ehh, they'd fit right into the setting.

Overrated, looks unoriginal. Taking elements from every other game other. Dialogue just means who dies, Bioware did that one to death way back in 2011. Graphics look like crap. Then again given this developer's track record it will be HIGHLY downgraded like The Witcher. lol Oh and expect season passes and lies regarding modding tools. Funny how devs can get away with being Ubisoft/EA as long as Ubisoft/EA isn't their name.

Yips. You're correct. CDprojekt is known for bad writing and dialogue and terrible bioware-esque storytelling. Don't get me started on their REd-engine or their season passes and loot boxes.

Really dude? Really? Stop trolling. CDPR is the only company I trust to deliver a fantastic game. Not like Bethesda that counts only money.

Yups. And it was actually a quality one, with actual content in it, Hearts of stone didn't add much to the world but the story and quests behind it were masterfull, I admit I haven't actually done Blood and Wine yet, but I've seen enough of it's maps and content elsewhere. If'n it was any other publisher it would probably contain a handfull of weapon reskins and a pvp map.

 

They could probably do something with a first person view nudity mod, I mean PoV pron seems to be fairly popular, I just don't see it getting the same kind of workover something like sexlab or wickedwhims got.

Yeah, Blood and Wine is nice, both on its own and as finale of Geralt's arc.

 

As for modding Cyberpunk 2077, my fear is that similar to Witcher 3 there will be some graphics and gameplay mods, but nothing meatier.

I'm skipping this, I don't like rpg shooters mechanics that make enemies bullet sponges only becauese they are two levels higher than you and you have to unload a few magazines to actually kill them. That's why I never really liked Borderlands, stayed away from The Division and played Fallout 4 with realistic damage mod. Also I would love the ability to not install any implants at all, you wouldn't benefit from the technology that it provides, but staying 100% human from flesh and bone would have it's own advantages, for example not being able to get hacked like in the trailer.

That was actually a valid option in cyberpunk's origional tabletop. Imma hoping it gets made an option here too. (It probably won't be with all the plugging chips into your head and whatnot, but ehh, I can dream.)

I'll play it for the story, the narrative, the characters and the choices and conséquences, not for the shooter.

 

For the implants, they have a "humanity cost" value, so at this point, for all we know, everything is possible.

This game was so over hyped but after seeing the demo personally I am not interested in this game that much any more. No TPP means no point in making my own character, even dialogue and walking in the city is in first person, plus the character is just 2 floating arms. Also most likely their mod support will be as bare bones as the one for witcher.

 

Will most likely get it on deep sale.

Such RPG's should be played as FPP, so you can immerse yourself as main character. You create your own hero. You are MC of the game. You make own decisions.

TPP are good if game gives character like Gerald in Witcher for example and you play his story, not your own.

That's a fair enough preference to have, but don't forget that there are people who prefer to play the other way. I almost never try to play "as" the character. I have much more fun acting as the angel and demon on their shoulders and almost never use FPP if TPP is an option, even if it's a clunky option like TES or fallout. Games should be played however the player most enjoys them. Just different strokes for different folks.

 

I'm really looking forward to Cyberpunk regardless of the perspective. I generally prefer TPP games to FPP, but there have been plenty of the latter I've enjoyed immensely over the years, and this is shaping up to be another.

Actually very happy to see this....been feeling pretty shitty lately as Beth rolls out yet another shitty MMORPG onto an already over saturated market. The claims innovation and the fallout76 is not just trash. Only thing exciting they have that is original is doom eternal or doom upgraded lol. but yea im actually pretty excited for this game I love cyberpunk theme and robotics and the idea of going ghost in the shell totally get me some thermal and microfying eyeballs no scope required
