Dzony Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 First and last (not skyrim) pictures make me think this is something like " from the start of the game there is some invincible-slow moving-REALLY deadly entety that follows you. (something like that girl ghost from clockwork mod) it kills you in a really brutally and you cant really kill it or hide from it...(till you kill alduin or something). you could slow it down temporarly and try to run and get some rest. thats what i imagined at firt, but then i read whats this about... its still pretty cool.

That sounds cool as hell, but this mod is leading places, once the quest side hits, some quest will not open till your level 70, because, well you wouldn't survive certain things at level 50, I like the story your talking, but this is a little bit of a different path
Deviljho-san Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Oh yay i can now capture my doppelganger and use it to touch it. But does it mean i'm touching myself too? lol
BAB PEEG Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Makes me want to actually play skyrim for something other then sex mods. 1
kakaer Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 I don't feel like anything has changed since I've installed this mod. Do not take me wrong, I am not trying to insult your work, but is it possible I might need a new save for this mod after all? I've walked all over Whiterun Hold for an hour and nothing happened outside of stuff provided by other mods, such as Warzones.
ZeroListGram Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Great mod! I'm looking forward for further updates. If I may have some recommendations myself: I think adding having the feeling of the civil war represented in clutter would add immensely to the brutal realism of what Skyrim could have been. Think about the time period that inspired it; having your enemies heads displayed on spikes on your cities' walls and gates was not uncommon. Or even just the heads of bandits the guards keep talking about. Having hanged criminals around the cities was also a common thing as a deterrent for criminals. Perhaps the Stormcloaks could also hang who they think are not "true sons and daughters of Skyrim", because they support thefrom Empire. Imagine a line of hanged people on the roads or in some Stormcloak city, having a sign on them, saying "TRAITOR". Such clutter would really add to the immersion, you could immediately tell which city is on which side. Also think about the fact that in a civil war, there supposed to be battles, or at least skirmishes. There are absolutely no signs of that. When you have a lot of people that you quickly need to bury to avoid disease, you will use mass graves. There aren't even regular graves in Skyrim around the world, let alone mass graves. I think either adding mass graves or simple, makeshift graves would really emphasize that the war is actually happening and that it isn't pretty. Additionally, there could be just simply unfortunate travellers. Some people who freezed to death. Perhaps some others who lie next to the roads which visible teeth marks on their necks (Dawnguard/Vampires). Perhaps the remains of a young kidnapped women who was raped and killed by bandits. Perhaps the corpse of another with an empty vial of poison next to her explaining that she ended her life because she got raped by someone (bandits or a "real" NPC, who then would deny the story saying he actually loved her and so forth). Perhaps add dancing girls in the Jarls palaces, or just generally prostitutes in the cities, who are actually "functional" prostitutes (at least for the player), but who would also have their stories -- at least some of them. One thing I can imagine would be that one of them lost everything when the Stormcloaks/Imperials/Bandits burned down their farm, they killed her parents, she could only escape with her little sister, and now this is how she earns the coin for their bread and a place to stay. Another could be a woman who lost everyone she loved in the war, and now she wastes away everything she has / she is. Perhaps she could later commit suicide, too. There is an insane amount of potential for good stories and situations that would add a lot to the game, making it something more mature and serious. It would be possible through such little things to make the player think about deeper things than "who am I killing next". These stories could bring to Skyrim real dilemmas and emotions that would make players say "I really don't know what the hell I would do if I was in that situation". Perhaps you could get some ideas from my ranting (I'd gladly help with ideas if you decide to make any of those). Either way, I will track this mod and see where it goes, it seems promising.

It will not take effect right away as mods like these have to wait for cells to re-spawn ...most times player must leave a cell and wait a several in game days for the cell to reset.
SmedleyDButler Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Just wondering, are the mods only keyed to level, or are there other preconditions. For instance, if you walk by the suicide jump, will that always happen the first time you reach that location, or are there other factors which vary when it might happen? For things like the home-invasion assassins, do you need to have angered anyone in game, or is there just going to be a random attack at some point?
RJLbwb Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Level 38 hostile NPCs at level 4, nice try dude. This is as bad as those super flying crab men the maker of Immersive Monster loves.
donttouchmethere Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 THIS mod is amazing, exactly what my load order needed. I kiss the mods virtual feet =D

Some are random attack, others are depending on what quest is finished, have been working on a additive that if you murder someone, their ghost will haunt you randomly or attack you later in the game

As woodman said, some cells have to respawn, but this was also made to be spread out, head out to the abandon camp between robbers gorger and dragons bridge, the one across the river

I know in vanilla it's not so bad, but some people play with a lot of mods to make combat quite difficult or with harsher penalties on death, and mods with unlevelled enemies can screw that right up.

The only enemies that are unleveled are the ones that I have created, not any of the vanilla Skyrim enemies, I m ight make a "nerf" version so people can try it

It's probably easier to just have a levelled version than to try and balance a nerf.

Your right, on the next update I will release a leveled version, along with the normal version but by the time your level 30 it will be easy like the rest of Skyrim
waiyan Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 How about pc being captured and tortured from dark npcs like the doppleganger for jeleousy or pleasure when travelling alone? And what happens to doppleganger's appearance if I change my pc's during mid playthrough?
kakaer Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Aight, as you guys said, all I had to wait. One question though. Even though I play a female character, my Doppelganger is male. Is that supposed to happen?
