Hi, I need someone to help me by explaining what I need to do to make my character surrender to the mutant cockroach. I don't know where to
modify it in F4edit, and I have the animations, but the program tells me I can't surrender to that enemy.

Dumb question probably, but have you enabled them in the MCM menu? They should be under "small bugs".

It was enabled in the MCM, but I still couldn't defeat them. I went into Fo4dit and added them to the extra creatures,
and the problem was fixed. Thanks for replying.

Hello eveyone, I'm trying to add the Assaultron to the Robot race (I'm planning on letting them use the "human" animation tags) but even if I have added them on the list, when I try to surrender them I keep getting the message I can't surrender to that kind of enemy.

But if I try to "force" an animation via AAF, then it works - so I'm missing something to let Violate recognize them as aggressors.

Any idea of what I'm missing?

Allright, I've finally managed to actually add them to the fun - however, I'm still working on how to make them use the human animation (they still use the Protectron ones).

But while I'll try to solve that, I've also tried to add these ghoulish-synths to add a bit of horror, yet I can't do it.

It shows that these synths have four different race codes, but when I tried to add them I couldn't find a single one of them. Any ideas?

Hello everyone! I have a question related to Anniversary Edition. The issue is that AD patches broke something in my mods. In short, AAF Violate doesn't work because AAF itself is not installed completely. AAF requires LLFP plugin. However, if I install the latest version of LLFP plugin, there is a window in Vortex that LLFP plugin is not compatible with current game version.
Did this happen to somebody else? If so, is it possible to fix?

You need to roll back F4 to NG/OG or wait a few months until Bethesda releases a stable version of AE and hope that all the necessary mods get an update to that version.

This is a WARNING ignore it. But AAF will not work properly until Looksmenu is updated.

Having a problem where AAF has a DLL that won't work, if I remove that DLL, then violate doesn't work.
LL_Fourplay_1_10_984
I am unsure if this is a violate problem or an AAF problem, I have tried skimming through this forum, but 271 pages is a lot to go through

I have been informed that I am supposed to just remove that DLL, but that doesn't change that doing so breaks Violate

AAF contains 2 .dll plugins - LL_Fourplay_1_10_984 and for game version before NG (1.10.163). It depends, what game version you have. Have you installed additional .dll from here? If yes, then remove this one and leave AAF installation as it is.

I had not seen that link before, thank you very much, this cleared my issue

tha author has written thats it now updated, so remove?

i have remoced the old dll out of the AAF 1.2 installpackage and replace with this one of the link abouve.

works very well.. so only put out the 163 and replace with the 196... then all is ok.

aaf and violate and all other stuff (without looksmenu and workshop framework, its not updated) runs smootly

I don't know if the AAF is updated for AE game version, so you have to look in AAF discord, if you have AE version

As I said, now there is three game versions - pre-NG (1.10.163), NG (1.10.984) and AE . AAF contains two plugins - one for game version 1.10.163 and second for 1.10.984.

[Dev/Test/Beta] LL FourPlay community F4SE plugin is for NAF, not for AAF. AAF already contains both .dll plugins - one for NG game, one for pre-NG

Absolutly NOT. I never even tested NAF.

Just download and install the latest version of my mod AFTER AAF and touch anything else.

Hmm. Weird, someone told me a bit different picture, but ok. You are the mod author, you know better...My apologies if I understood something wrong...

I just know, that I tested NAF. And without your .dll plugin nothing works...

Then what's the difference between AAF .dll plugin and yours, if I may ask?

So far I have only tested this with Raiders and Ghoul. For Ghouls it works fine, for Raiders it says AAF Violate aborted when going to start animation in the debug message in top left corner.

would there be a reason Gorillas would not be able to be surrendered to?   Not sure if the standard game has more then one Gorilla that can be used by a mod, but the Wasteland Guild is using Gorillas on one of the dungeon floors and none of them are able to be in Violate scene.   All of them however can be manually involved in an AAF scene using the home key, with multiple animation packs showing up.   I realize that Gorillas are not normally in the wild to even use normally, but is there a chance they were not actually coded into the races allowed?

Can't surrender, or animations don't play when surrendering?
There are 3 Gorilla Races registered in AAF.
There are 2 in Violate. DLC02 A56 is missing.
And animations for Violate should be tagged as "Rough" or "Aggressive."

It's the ghoulrillas from NW or FH, animations are available but surrender is not

If you have Darthroman animations, you can try to us e this:

AAF_Violate_DR_Support_modded.zip 2.86 kB · 1 download

this patch is being overwritten by Extended AAF Patch.   I tried to merge it with the v1.3 patch here and it did not allow surrender.   I tried putting it under Extended AAF patch so it would overwrite that, and still no surrender allowed.   Here is the info on the creature in question.  Not sure if this has to be done in the extended AAF patch instead of violate patch.

This gorilla is from Nuka. It's already in Violate_DLC_patch. And I was able to surrender to it without any problem.
You must be in combat with an NPC to be able to trigger Violate.

Of course, that's why it should overwrite the file from the EAP. Until I add this edit to the EAP.
