My words are far more intended for the random defender of this mod than yourself. Read. Comprehend. Then respond. I'll ever defend it no matter how broken and by the wayside it may get. As long as it misbehaves somehow, as far as I'm concerned, it's working properly, even if we get to the point where just having it in your load order CTDs you every time. Which wouldn't be nearly as fun or funny, but would still serve the purpose. So if it ever does completely stop working, and zippy is nowhere to be found, just send me a PM. I'll post a 'fix' that makes it do nothing *but* CTD, and there will never be a risk of it getting 'broken' again. This simple statement in the OP should explain everything clearly. By the way, don't download this mod. This is not a joke. It will break your game. It is clear, concise and understandable, if you read the entire OP. If you don't read the entire OP then you deserve the issues you get on this mod as well as other mods you don't read the OP. These "defenders" are merely stating to read the OP and understand the instructions. Those "thousands" of downloads that don't comment on the "broke" mod realize after being told it "functions as advertised". Those "4" that didn't and commented didn't read the OP statement above or didn't understand it entirely. It is a "learning exercise" for those users of mods here on LL to read the OP. I can't explain it any clearer or better. The users of the mods here on LL need to understand and follow the instructions given to them from the mod creator. Many mods here are complex with sometimes very complex install instructions. Miss a step and bad things happen. The very sad thing is this can be posted here and despite the slow posting on this thread. It is likely as soon as this thread changes pages someone else will be posting 'this mod is broke" again on the new page.
Wolf470 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 OK just for comparison I took a totally clean save IE did not have ANY sexout mods active and the only mods that were active were those that you could get with the game IE Fallout NV, Dead Money, Gun Runners ect. after transfering my current saves away - I activated this mod along with those I already had active. The only difference in the before and after was the inclusion in the console of 'sexout orgy active waiting for key - key not pressed dispelling - dispelled' repeated several times over a few minutes. If anybody ever updates this mod to fit the current SexoutNG I will very happily download it as it sounds fun. I am not including my load order as the only difference between the test and my normal working game is this mod.

It appears that since the last release how the scanner works has changed and the spell to allow this mod to work is not being cast on any NPCs. I am looking into fixing that but am not currently having any luck; an update might be a while off. As for the issues some people are having binding the key in MCM, I cannot reproduce that behavior. Truth be told I found it more fun to play with the other *features* that are part of this mod and haven't even really tested or tried the *key binding* except for the first time I played it way back when it first came out.. Trust me there are several moderators and contributors which would love this mod to have the key bindings fixed as well.

I released a test version of a mod once, and in huge red letters I wrote "YOU NEED THE SEXOUTNG BETA OR YOU WILL GET AN ERROR". And sure enough one of the first posts: "I'm getting an error." Thus the idea for Orgy was born. People will never read a red caps sticky for the same reason they don't read red caps in the OP. I don't know what that reason is, but they won't do it. Orgy is an attempt to get people to read the OP whilst simultaneously giving them something to laugh at. Perhaps only in hindsight, but I certainly hope that user at the beginning of the thread can get a good chuckle about that one time they ran into a couple of fifty-foot tall, invincible brahmin.

Telling people to read the OP rudely or impatiently gets us called dicks or assholes or whatever and reported to moderators, who have better things to do. So zippy made this mod. If telling people to read doesn't work, demonstrating what will happen if you don't is really the only option left.

So then, this mod should not be downloaded at all, if the user (me) reads entirely and carefully the OP. At this point ... Why the hell this mod should be "improved, updated"? In one word, why Zippy should still waste his time on this? Should not be a better choice to try to create something "real" and useful, like, for example, a Bangatron extension that allows the player to force two NPCs to have sex together with the player NOT involved? I'm lost, yep.
