(3) : player and 3 meatslave : player wasn't chosen, other choice were 3 randoms meatslave npc (no follower or modded npc). The game fail to find a slave, since the player is not chosen the quest end. The error seems to appear in all kind of set-up, it doesn't stop the quest from completing and i don't know if it's due to some mod compatibility.

Some small aspect i encountered : 1 - If Maya is downed first in the fight you're teleported inside but Maya and Mistress enter combat stance (maybe due to the other vigilants) and draw weapon and invoc gargoyle, it result on Maya going on the spit with her weapon (mace) at her hip. 2 - When the client asked for a steak i had all kind of steak available but it wasn't what was needed, i had to go ask Simza for all kinds of foods. In the end the client took a "Human meat stew" which is far fetched from a steak. 3 - When the client asked for the filet i had a hard time finding how and where to "bend down" when Simza asked, found it after trying every interactable in the kitchen. When a marker isn't possible details in the quest text could be helpful (like you did for the vigilant location). 4 - Like many others i had to use the option for debug (talk to Camille) to pass Camille and Carnificina dialogue which wouldn't start. And for the last one i'm not sure if it's the mod in itself or a mod compatibility problem since i have some others. 5 - The domination spell and dialogue led to nothing : with the spell i could calm bandit but after that they had no dialogue options, same for the domination dialogue, after the seduction i had no new dialogue option to subdue or bring the newly aquired slave to the fort. So I had these messages but it ended up going through on the retry, there seems to be some lag in the script that sets the slaves and appetizer and main course, causing the retry to trigger, not sure why it would end rather than find the target on the second try. Does it not give you the quest markers for them at all or is it just the needed conversation options not there when you speak to them?

And for the l 1 - That seems to be an issue if you down Maya without killing all the other vigilantes first, so the combat hasn't ended when you get teleported and Maya is hostile. The other three are issues that have been around for awhile unfortunately, with 2 though, the normal clients never have the steak, it will always want the stew if they ask for steak.

In the testing ones I did I got the 'exotic' twice, both times having 1 Argoinian and 1 Kajiit in stock, first time he picked the other two and they went back to the cells, second time they were both picked. As to the number of tasks, I still need to test further but I am thinking that maybe the bath doesn't count as it was added in later so might not be counted towards the five. As to the gather meat one, I haven't been able to get that to trigger for the player for some time myself but I didn't really test for it this time.

It expands on the text corrections by fixing some bugs, adjusting some quest stages, adding some conditions to dialogue, and most importantly, it renames nearly every single EditorID in the mod so that a user can read through all the dialogue in the mod in narrative order. I recommend using this version for the improved end-user experience, but it may cause issues if you uninstall it mid-save. Inside that zip file, there's also four documents; Changelog: Self-explanatory, listing all of the non-text changes I've made, and giving a general impression of the revised characterization throughout the story. Feedback: For Delzaron specifically. Lists all of the bugs I found and recorded, as well as my best guess as to why they occurred and how they could be fixed. Many of them require examining scripts and double-checking queststages. I considered cracking open the scripts myself multiple times, but ultimately elected not to do so; I've already had difficulty trying to figure out how scripting works, and if I really went down that rabbit hole, this patch wouldn't have released for another six months. Notes: Mostly redundant. These were my personal notes when playtesting the mod and making changes; I'd keep this open and tab out of the game to write something down for later. Potentially incomprehensible, definitely says some unflattering things. Anything important was cleaned up and copied into the Changelog or Feedback documents. Rewrite Sample - Camille: The same document I uploaded in the original post, serving as a "demo" of my narrative changes. If you don't want to reinstall Skyrim or set up these mods, you can have a look through that and get a sense of the tone I presented in the rewrite. I've been working on this for...at least two months? It's not my best work, I could keep tinkering with this and fixing things forever. But I want to move on to other things, at least for a little while, so I'm going to post this and then step back for a bit. I hope you all enjoy it, and I hope the Feedback document is useful for improving Ravenous going forward. Additionally, if anyone has any questions about specific conversations or lines of dialogue, I can load up the game to take screenshots as examples. (I've neglected to do so until now, and all of my screenshots are for debugging purposes, they're unsuitable for promotional material.) I will be maintaining these patches when/if Ravenous updates, though I will almost certainly lag behind a fair bit as other projects take highest priority. Anyway, this allows me to open up any uncompiled scripts and examine how they work, edit them, and then compile them myself. I strongly suspect that Delzaron has been using the CK's internal script-writing/compiling functions, so it'll be interesting to see if my slightly different method will have any effects on the end result. Even after seing all episodes of gordon ramsay. Yes, I added that dialogue option to Simza to avoid player being blocked. 3 : there is a marker, but it doesn't appear... 4 : at least you was not forced to use the console, that's a progress. I don't understand why it doen't work propertly... 5 : the domination spell was abandonned, I should suppress it or redone it. That would be my dialogue patch for this mod, attached here: I'm flying a little blind and learning as I work, and v1 of the Deep Edits has been confirmed to break some scripts, so I'm currently combing through the scripts and organizing/reconnecting them. I'll probably merge that into the deep edits as v2 when I'm done, but it'll take a while, as currently I'm still charting out what connects to what and how that interacts with the multiple layers of game logic.

The array works fine the selection works perfectly when used in the impaler script. The issue seems to be in the dialouge with the target. Propably something not beeing called propably. If I get asked to choose additional NPCs during the spitroast scene everything works till I have to select an NPC it gives me the dialogue but after finishing it the target is not chosen. The selection for everything else works perfectly. Though so it is propably just a skript not beeing called properly.
redscout101 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 anyone else have an issue where they crash just after entering Fort Naemir? every time i try to go in the game crashes, I tried looking into if any other mods were causing it and I'm not finding any answers, its dependencies are up to date on my end so idk what's going on.

Only time I ever had that problem, I had forgot that I uninstalled one requirement for Pama´s Deadly Furniture.

nonofyodambiznes Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 (edited) just had another idea for another quest where carnificina calls player and she explains in order to promote the restaurant she decided to give a tour of how the restaurant works to customers to ensure that the restaurant only uses the finest fresh meat and player was chosen to demonstrate by releasing the blade on her own head or letting simza cut her head off at the block or the stump which goes a little like this: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/79717997 https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/84856370 another idea is that carnificina is testing a new Decapitation Spell and she calls the player in the slaughter floor to test it which should be easy enough to do she just tells the player that she's testing a new spell and doesn't let the player know its a decapitation spell she just asks her to hold still in the blood pool area in the back of the kitchen and casts the spell on her then after player is beheaded carnificina says: "hey it worked! lovalter Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Can someone make a guide or something, like even skipping all the buggy quests I get to the spitroast end, I get on the table and the npc dialogues make it seem like I should be changing positions but I'm just stuck there
