If so, how? The funniest thing is, I followed all of the rules and everything and still got banned. About 6 months into my account I was in the chat and The Vampire Dante noticed that I had two accounts. I must've accidentily made the second one, as I had no knowledge of it. Regardless, TVD banned me on the spot without letting me explain myself and that was that. I properly explained myself in the ban appeal but never got a response of any kind. Then, I personally contacted Dark0ne and he never responded either. Thanks for the silent treatment nexus. The greatest thing is that if TVD would've even looked at the second account, he would've noticed that it hadn't been active since the day it was made (because I had no clue it was even there). Most people just switch their IP on their router and make another account with a different name. The "Multiple Accounts" rule gets innocent people more than the 'guilty'.

Unfortunately I have a static IP, so the only way to change it is to contact my isp (which I really don't want to do).

I admit it was my fault for posting "adult content" which was the naked back of my character without showing anything classified as adult. Even though I select the damn YES when asked if "Is there adult-only content in this image". Hopefully I only got two images deleted and a warning, enough to almost make me cough my heart out. PS: Why it's not allowed to even think about LL on Nexus?

I get severely annoyed by the 'can't mention LLabs in anyway bullshit'. I actually lost a mod I made that was SexLab based. Was worrying about how do deal with not fucking people on Nexus that had downloaded the original person and bam hard drive went. No new version of the Mod uploaded any where. Yeah I should have backed it up on Mega or somewhere, but still... I wanted to note on Nexus that the only future supported version would be on LLabs and a SexLab version. (The SexLab version was much more sophisticated, and I lost it being a politician and not making a damn decision.) (Mod in question is Calypso companion on Nexus.) Still haven't decided if I want to spend the time doing what I did with her again before my drive went. Also, (I'm premium there and my download times are better here.) Never gave this site a red cent... Does he think the basic convenience mods in existence on his site (that haven't already duped themselves on Steam or elsewhere) will dissappear without his site? Robin needs to do some rethinking and swallow his pride.

Apparently not all puritans were exported to the U.S. I simply don't worry about it. They probably will ban me one day. I am vulgar and will always get banned from a highly chaste website. I have many times before. I will mention LoversLab in credits if I ever release a mod there. There is one very simple method of making sure your mod is protected no matter what happens: Permissions: Anyone can re-upload this wherever they want as long as they clearly credit me as the original author. Or, my version of it: Permissions: You don't need permission to do anything. Edit it, steal from it, add a goddamn MCM, upload it, re-release it under your own name claiming you made it, sell it on amazon, marry it, whatever, I don't care. That way, when you get banned, you can make a new account with a new IP and re-upload it on any website no matter how hard you are banned there saying "Permissions said I could" as many times as you want. If every mod author did this, mods would never be lost.

Ussula76 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 i read the cartoons and did not find them offensive HOWEVER america has an epidemic of political correctness and all it takes to get banned from a site that is american based these days is to make an innocent comment with no real intention of being offensive and then have someone accuse you of being offensive. while i think whoever tagged you as offensive was being a whiney sniveling butthurt little *&%@ i also have to say that using the word gay in any context at all can be very very dangerous and provoke the bannhammer easily and swiftly. there are lots of whiney sniveling butthurt people who cant just let little innocent made remarks go. and while i dont know for sure if the nexus is truly an american based company, (by the way i am american saying this born and raised so please dont get all offended or something lol) im guessing that it prolly is just the way they constantly swing the bannhammer at everyone for little minor mistakes of political ocrrectness and offesnses like this even on the first offense often without warning. i agree its total bullcrap and is more in line with fascism than freedom of thought and speech within a relatively respectful environment but i dont know what can be done about it.

Someone will have to report it or (the more likely scenario) one of the staff will see us laughing about it here and remove it. so youre telling me the nexus spies on loverslab and will use the info gathered to report and remove posts on their own forums and ban people? how sneaky and shadey... they keepp this shit up and eventually they will have no viewers left cuz they banned them all and then loverslab will have them all XD

I have found that Nexus moderators CAN AND WILL edit the CREDITS section of your modpage AND NOT EVEN NOTIFY YOU THAT CHANGES WERE MADE. Mines are still there. Could it be because of the automatic censorship if you write LoversLab entirely? EDIT: If, for example, your credits section had "Thanks to the LL/TESR/VGU/MDB community for beta testing and feedback" in it then I think I'd be inclined to let it slide. While I have a dislike of Lovers Lab, I don't care that much about simple lines like this. Ok this makes sense then

Ok this makes sense then They did it to Yoo's page, So I guess it sort of depends if it's a mod that admins and moderators will use and download or something to be popular that they'll edit it out (though Dark0ne assures me he sent out a staff letter telling people not to do this anymore) It could have been just bad luck, but if this does ever happen again, I lose complete trust in Nexus as a modding 'community'. When I make a mod, I may dam well please who I wish to give credits/thanks to regardless of popularity/communities and any other barriers
