Wait.... scratch that... he knows, he just doesn't care. Knowing that one friend worked for a large company running several MMOs, I'd rather think they're getting burned out.

He was always in there so i'm guessing they gave him the job by default. Interesting enough back in the day he was a cool person, usually gave good advice to any newbs looking for help and really knew his way around the CK. I'm guessing now that he has to deal with all the blockheads that frequent the chat over there things aren't the same. I can totally relate to that. I was Supermod on Kugutsumen.com for a very long time, with 50000 people browsing our forum at any time of the day. The constant barrage of spambots and trolls who think i can't sniff out their sockpuppets turned me from a pretty levelminded and friendly person to a complete asshole. When it came to a point where i literally stalked a forummember who pissed me off in a discussion and gave him warnings for even the tiniest misconduct i realized i needed a break and stepped down for a couple of weeks. I guess it's a combination of an unfounded feeling of importance and the feeling that everybody out there is a complete moron or troll. It can really fuck you up mentally. Realizing that and taking the right steps is the hard part i guess.

It's ironic that I can provide proof positive to the Nexus staff that BlackBlossom is a mod thief but she did not STAY banned for longer than four fucking days; yet now they ban people without any proof at all. FUCK NEXUS Yeah, but BlackBlossom was probably one of their premium users. God forbid they lose money for the sake of moral integrity.

Many of the mod authors of the best/most endorsed mods are some of the most smug assholes I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. I hope I never end up like that. It is difficult when people constantly bombard your PMs/comments section with stupid questions that are specifically addressed in readmes and descriptions, though. I hope I don't get banned for putting people in their place(s) there.

The PM spam and constant "i don't know how to read and follow instructions" does become irritating after so long, but still I believe one has to be humble when it comes to this. These types of things revolve around patience. Often times authors get too annoyed to the point where they ignore complimenting comments. Even comments that are constructive criticism. A user doesn't like to feel annoyed ignored and it could change their perspective view on that author. So, really it's always best to keep a level head and be positive about the situation. It not only makes you a better person, but it can change someone from being a total jerk to coming out and formally apologizing. Otherwise an alternative could be creating a topic in the forums tab and label one as RANT HERE and just ignore it. 8P btw your u.n. rokz and I've been wanting to say that from way back when.
