Abelyo Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Been using this mod for a while in my game and I gotta say its one of the most fun companions I ever had in a Fallout/TES game. I REALLY enjoy all the shit she says, some that even weirded me out a bit when I'm a massive pervert myself. Though I did use her with AFT and her dialogue choices are kinda bugged, but aside from that she follows me and works fine enough. Is she not on Nexus? I feel like people who only look for mods there are missing out if she isnt. And I see she is still getting updated, which pleases me. Very good job.

I am now playtesting Nuka World with her and it's both a chore (I need to replay and revisit everything multiple times) and fun as hell to do (some combo's are just fun to watch over and over again). I expect to be able to ship the new dialog stuff to Chic by the end of the month at the latest, after which her recording can begin. 2

You should ask Chic if she would re-record the line when Ivy is talking about her gun and she refers to it as a “44 mm” instead of a .44 cal. I love Ivy to death but I cringe every time I hear that one. A 44 mm gun would be like an artillery cannon. She wouldn’t be able to carry it around the Commonwealth and still be so sexy.

Re-recording is a pretty big issue, especially for 'inserts'. To get the sound and acoustics just right is nearly impossible. This is already proving to be somewhat of an issue for newly added content as it sounds 'different' in acoustics than the original recordings. If we would have to do that insert, we'd have to record the entire story, otherwise that one line would sound out of place. I'll put it on my 'nice to haves' list of things for Ivy. 1

Yup, those have been fixed a long time ago in the ESM (which is still to be released, this summer).

My learning experiences with Reginalds Prefab ShackFest have kick started me back into the custom Quest with custom cells (at least) for Ivy. Now that I understand level design better I am once again trying my hands on the Quest that I wanted to have for her, for so long, but never had the skill to properly make. I might still run into showstoppers here and there, but I'm getting farther than I ever was. Nothing concrete yet about the quest itself, other than that players will be traveling inside Ivy's mind and the glitches in her programming definitely have to do with this quest. DLC for Nuka World is nearly wrapped up for recording by @Chic Geek! 4

Could Ivy have a customed-made melee weapon? As good as her 44. Revolver. 3. Since Chickgeek is voicing Ivy. Why don't Ivy have Chickgeeks NX2C Sloot Suit as her default costume instead of Irmas?

bblaw1024 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 I know you said its not compatible with quick start mods but is there anyway you could make a "start me up" patch? The problem is that all the quick start options in Start Me Up dont work with Ivy enabled (you get infinite loading screen). Now i loaded it up in my fo4edit and the only notable conflicts are quest related ones between Start Me Up and this. I guess i could enable Ivy after i do the quick start but i would like it if i could start the game seamlessly. I think Start Me Up is popular enough that you could consider making a patch for it if possible at all. I did it myself :P. Now it all works fine (i hope).

If you suddenly decide to re-sound Ivy,it would be great if you added emotions to the voice-only in those dialogues/monologues where Ivy speaks on behalf of the girl(not the robot).After all,she's not a real robot, she's half human.))
