SpaceSoap Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 I don't know if ZAZ is causing this or DDi is but everytime an animation regarding a device is played I get an instant CTD. Some examples are tripping over heels or boots, tugging at belts and any plugs or piercings going off. Papyrus.0.log

Thanks for the help Ah, then the answer is (er, was) probably to disable the duplicate animations. Like by removing them from the one FNIS .txt file, I think.
Nharra Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Until now I've been using ZAZ 7.0 but now a mod I want to try out requires ZAZ 8.0+ and I'm wondering whether to install 8.0 or 8.0+ since someone earlier in this thread stated that 8.0 is for CBPC (which I use) and 8.0+ is for HDT. Also, do I just uninstall 7.0 and install 8.0(+), register animations in MCM again, I guess? Or should I do anything additional?

Then delete the txt file in that MME animations folder too, re-run FNIS and you should be fine if you did it right Edit: This solution would hopefully allow you to use MME without issue, since I wasn't exactly clear with my response

Check out the Zaz helper...Should be working without any conversion.

Then I've installed ZAZ 7.0 and no CTD occurred. I'm confused. I've use FNIS and bodyslide in the exact same way to install those versions.

Instead i'm usure what exactly the two downloads are. There's 7.0 which is only about 80MB, and 8.0 clocking it at a whopping 400MB. Both contain an ESM of the same name. Do i install either one or the other? Or is 7.0 the base for 8.0? What about the ESMs? Are both ported to SSE? (I'm using UUNP. FNIS XXL, and sexlab says about 40 slots free for chars and creatures each. I'm not actually that interested in the bondage-stuff itself - just installing ZAZ because some other mods depend on it.)

You have to find out which the mods depend on... ZAZ is downward compatible...
