So actually there is two scumbags of Bioware devs, who piss on Biscuit grave. One former, and one current.

No wonder why people call to boycott Anthem, but problem is... If we not going to boycott all games, published by EA. Nothing will change.

I'll never play another fuckin EA game! The main reason being that EA sucks ass. Oh, and the Bioware that is today is nothing like the Bioware before EA. You don't kick a person when they're down and you don't speak ill of the dead. I mean show some fucking class already, EA.

WHAT!!! there was someone mocking someone passing away... someone still relatively young and dying of a very bad, horrible disease?  AND they are devs for a gaming company... ? WTF!!!! Seriously...? Just WOW.  I don't wish bad things to happen to people but...  Wow... Karma is a bitch, wonder what they will get in return for such a low thing to do...

I can tell you with 100% confidence if I was the boss or such of anyone that went out and publicly mocked anyone's passing regardless of the reason or who they were, I would be demanding their resignation regardless of how important they were to the company. Shit like that can't stand. Comments and such like that should be kept to oneself.

Yeah, even a ex-Bloware dev has celebrated his death, way to commit a career suicide.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with people these days?

He is a canadian sjw that works for EA and worked on Andromeda and Battlefront - how the fuck can you expect any class or reason from him ?

Actually David Crooks former Bioware dev did his career suicide, i doubt anyone would like hire him. The problem is however with another one, current Bioware developer. He did the same shit like Crooks, and when backlash happends. He turn his social media accounts to be private.

But problem however is still why? Battlefield V hype and this will change nothing, unless we seriously start boycott EA releases. Also keep in mind, that EA lately got tons of backlash due to ME:A and SWBF2 (2017)

The best thing you can do is ignore people like Leigh "deport smelly brown people pls" Alexander and Brianna "the government has moon rail cannons aimed at San Francisco" Wu completely, or anyone else taking joy at the lingering painful death of another human being that owed them no ill will.

Genna is likely to continue WTF is and Co-Optional PC under her own style, and Dodger and Jesse have already agreed to continue as they were.

And therein lies a corollary; Jesse routinely says the dumbest shit under the banner of progressive values. Routinely. But I still respect him and the fact he bothers to admit when fucks up... sometimes. TB said some astoundingly obtuse shit in the course of his life and discussion over gaming and its value as an art form and consumer product, but he owned up to those things, honestly and without making excuses, and those are the lessons you can carry forward.

Except it isn't the end. You can play the games he plays, you can see why he made the critiques he did, you can agree or disagree with his final verdicts on all things both gross and sublime. You can give to the charities he championed, you can give Gemma a quiet thumbs up on her content and you can see the conversations he carried whether you agreed with them or not, or even think they mattered all that much. You can lend your voice to the discussions he carried or start on ones you think matters as much in the same venues he did. You can create content he would raise an eye at.

You can carry his sense of humor or his methods of determining worth, you can reflect on his observations, and take them to further a degree on games yet to come.

And you can say "fuck cancer" for no particular reason out loud in public or private at any time.

Ill be honest. I don't like Totalbiscuit, thought he wasn't very nice BUT, despite that. No one deserves the kind of crap that is happening, especially him. I mean having to deal with cancer and then after passing, people celebrating his death and such, like jesus. I get it, I get why some people might not like him but this isn't right at all. I hope it all calms down soon, I feel really bad for Genna. I hope she is staying away from such comments.

My bad. I expected even employees of EA to be human. I'm just hopelessly naive, i guess ?

Rest in peace, John "TotalBiscuit" Bain. Let's hope gamers will follow in the man's legacy in striving for excellence in the video gaming industry.

I was sorry to hear about biscuit. But I think the vast majority of people have expressed condolences, empathy etc.

Obviously there's some assholes out there, but they're trolls and not worth the time nor should they be the ones to focus on.

I honestly think that someone could cure cancer and post a 'this is the cure to cancer' youtube vid. - There would still be some small subset of the population that would hit dislike on it.

Why?

Because some people are fucked in the head, there's no fixing that situation...

Lol, some slanty eyes pretending to be white talking about evil SJWs.

By the way - yes, men will be judged even after their deaths. It doesn't matter and nobody cares about your feeelings. Special snowflakes.

Its the truth tho. People constantly make a big fuss about all celebrities etc. And yes I've dealt with cancer in my family so. The point is this why make a big fuss about some guy on the internet. Millions of people die all the time. And please I'm no kid most probably way older than you.

Because we kinda knew him and cared about him. He was famous, insightful critic of the industry that deals with our hobby.

I dont give two shits about "milions" dying because i dont know them.

Whats your point ?

Your view would be valid if you went and pay your respects privately in your circle of people that know him instead of forcing it down the internet's throat. Just like you don't care about the millions the millions don't care to hear about him. The coin have two sides.

You didn't have to click on the thread fam

I didn't but as soon as you posted it in a public forum it became public domain. Meaning you will hear opinions that you might not agree with. You just have to live with it.

Hint, this is a Private forum, not public. It is owned by a person and we are allowed to be here. You and others could just as easily be kicked out and not have access. There is no right to be here.

Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do something. Many times, you shouldn't and should leave things well enough alone if you aren't adding something beneficial or desirable to it.

Rudeness, is rudeness regardless of if it is public internet forum, private discussions, or somewhere in between. There are ways to discuss things in a proper polite way.

This isn't a fuss. The OP opened the thread to inform people here if they didn't already know that he died. The intent of such a thread is to give condolences and such.  Same goes for if someone in your life learned that you had a relative die. You give your condolences ... yes, even if you don't know them or even the person that informs you of this. It is the polite thing to do.

To many people miss this point now a days. Too many are focused on themselves only... "I don't know him", or "I don't care about his works" etc, etc.  It is such a sad state of today's society.

This is a very confusing age we live in.

On one hand people are competing on who is the most offended.

On the other people go out of their way to be the biggest asshole they can.

Both are wrong...

Just give your condolences, perhaps give a few polite words and move on...

Or just move on and not say anything.

That is all that should be done IMO.
