So this happened to me last night after quite a bit of time without saving. I was so annoyed with myself.

 

I was trying to sneak from Whiterun to Dawnstar overland without roads. I was pretty locked up and doing the bondage adventure quest. Among my restraints was a full chastity set. 

Barbas was with me. Passing the big fort east of the Vigilant house, my sneak failed and I started getting arrows shot at me. Barbas ran off, and engaged the bandits, and was doing a good job of killing them. Like an idiot, I trailed along behind him to loot his kills. 

 

He was pretty deep in the fort, and I was slowly approaching the door, trying to not be seen. A bandit came up behind me, and attacked. Being tightly bound I instantly surrendered. Given my options to resist or surrender I chose surrender. The full chastity equipped stopped the ensuing assault, however, after that, the bandit and I just stood looking at each other, and I couldn't regain control of my char. After 10 minutes of trying, I wound up reloading my last save.

 

Any idea what might be happening, how to avoid it, or how to end the animation hold?

ending the animation hold is the easiest to explain. in the mcm go down to zaz and player control center, first column it will say force ai wiuth a box, right below that it will have basicaly an ai flag with a number next to it, if it's 0 then force the ai then click release, on the right side you will see what you are locked out of in-game (combat,menu,fast-travel etc, you can try clicking the restore and see if you get control back, it's something with the AI that seems like it is waiting on mod a, but mod a already did it's thing and went passive, so you lock up. so to speak anyway.

and one of the options is to use bound combat (you kick people) (and actually look pretty ninja badass doing it.)

Dagonar prison works for me, but I'm using all the latest versions posted by Pfiffy with the "DCL-DD-ZaZ HDT-SMP and other patches" that someone posted either here or in the DD or HDT thread along with part of the DDhotfix for the ChainHarnessBoots (one of the NPC gets equipped with these and they used to crash my game).

So, um

 

I haven't had a chance yet to test the animation break solution I was given earlier. I did have bound combat on, but in the case I described before, my ankles were shackled.

 

So this morning, I was questing for Azura's Star, and a few keys to get out of a few pesky restraints I was in, and at one section, Barbas got hung up and wouldn't follow, and I had a room with 3 necromancers and 2 skeletons.  Long story short, it was too much DPS for me. I had mentioned earlier about my whiterun guards just saying "wait I know you" and then nothing? Well, the necromancers decided to hand me to the authorities in Whiterun, and I got sentenced to 2 days in the Women's Prison you've all been talking about.

 

So I appear in the prison, and 3 people are whipping me...which agros Barbas. And since they're all essential, I suppose, the fight seems never ending.

Reloading save..

 

BTW does anyone know where Barbas goes if you dismiss him?

I believe I used this:

along with

as well as the "Data\Meshes\devious\Heretic\boots\" folder from the hotfix since they still crashed my game.

 

And Edit since I just noticed:

It's important NOT TO USE the HarnessGlovesHDT BodyShape files from the HDT patch, since they crash the game. The "DD DCL New CBBE" files for the gloves do not cause a crash.

So, after starting a clean install, and I mean clean from the ground up, everything, I was able to not only get DCL to work without what I see as any major issues, but also get in to Dagonar without issue as well, thanks to the help above.

I've got Chloe's quest stuck at Honningbrew Meadery, it says to find the Imperial Soldier and there is an Imperial Officer in the Meadery but he has no quest marker or dialogue related to the quest. I've tried waiting, talking to Chloe, dismissing her and re-adding her, nothing. Has anyone else encountered any similar problem?

Trying going up to the officer and pressing "E" a bunch of times. Had this issue in Dagonar too.

I have a problem with the devices not fitting my character, I'm using curvy cbbe. Even after running bodyslide there is still clipping, this is only happening with the Items added by cursed loot.

Hiya, I was hoping someone could help me. Upon engaging in combat, my character falls to the floor from low health presumably, I get a pop up asking to either "accept fate/resist" doesn't matter which I choose I still end up curled up on the floor unable to move. I have to reload. 

 

I have the latest version of DCL, all three DD files, the hotfix, no other death alternative mod, I'm at a loss as how to fix this or am I missing something?

 

Any help would be appreciated!

 

p.s I forgot to add that earlier in the thread someone mentioned about trying zaz player control force/release - tried that and it didn't work for me.

Is there any FaceGen files to download that would resolve the dark faces?

All the BoundGirl NPCs have that mismatching head and body bug.

I've tried exporting the FaceGenData using the Creation Kit, and while it does say "Done", it doesn't actually export anything.

 

I've also tried removing mods that would affect NPCs like hair replacers just to test it, and still getting the issue.

I know the SetNPCWeight command can temp-fix it, but would prefer something that actually fixes it and doesn't need to be used through each reload. If there's some method to getting the CK to actually export the FaceGenData for these characters, then I'm open to that option too.

It needs the preset flag removed before you can export the facegen data. Roggvir posted the fix a few pages back, works like a charm.

I guess you can ignore the skeleton, but the rest will probably need the faceGen files exported from CK (i'd do it even if some of them may look fine).

 

EDIT2: It may be also worth checking with @Kimy, in case the same problem exists in Oldrim version.

 

EDIT3: Obviously, those that are based on some template are probably fine, but that still leaves dcur_gril, dcur_chloequest_deadimperial, and dcur_chloequest_deadimperialNoNote.

 

EDIT4: i think maybe i know why they are missing - those 3 npc records in yellow are flagged as chargen presets, which puts them in CK under presets category and prevents CK from exporting the faceGen data (you press Ctrl+F4 and CK pretends it did the export, but it didn't, yet you believe its ok because CK told you so).

Solution is to uncheck the chargen preset flag and close the npc record window, this will move the record into the appropriate actors category, where you can then use Ctrl+F4 and it will work - do not save the plugin with those preset flags removed (unless it is what you want), just quit CK, your work is done.

Do you have horrible harassment? I don't recall an accept fate or resist other than from that mod.

 

For DCL, check your Rape settings. In combat attacks, there's options for health threshold and resist chance, and just above that there's an option that boots make you helpless.

There's some bodyslide files you can get, but they are not complete. Roggvir is working on updating them. Pfiffy and I are working on getting HDT working. Some of the HDT files are also bodyslide files, so try not to build those as it will overwrite the fix we have so far and may cause you to crash.

 

For what we do have, take a look at JohnnyBB85's and lax4ever's posts on this page.

 

Hopefully soon we'll be done with working on them and can get them merged into the mod.

I haven't come across those then. I've exported all the facegen, and the dead imperials are the only ones I've seen. I've seen a few bound girls, none had dark faces for me.

I've not heard of that mod tbh, I do have deviously helpless though I think. I manged to solve that issue now though I'm having another issue if anyone can help (again ha) when I'm walking around unarmed people rape me, my PC is undressed, npc gets undressed, they do their thing, npc redresses and just stands there. My PC is still naked and I can walk, I can see UI and everything but I can't interact with container/people or even open my inventory, the only thing I can do is reload an earlier save :-(

 

Any help would be appreciated :-)

Last night I found the last piece of Queen Sarah's restraints. Now it seems like a lot of DCL has gone dormant. The Dollmaker has a very limited inventory to sell, and only 7 gold.  No bondage item comments, nobody's tried to rape her. 

 

Anyone else ever see this?

Found a workaround if the CK won't export FaceGenData

1. After having selected all mods that can affect NPCs, dont select an 'Active' plugin

2. Then go through each NPC and change something in each one, toggling a flag can work

3. Save a new plugin and this will force an export of the FaceGenData for all NPCs that are now marked with an asterisk

4. Close out of the CK, rename the new plugin's FaceGen folders in Meshes and Textures to Deviously Cursed Loot.esp

5. Delete the new esp

I seem to be confused and having issues with between 15 and 24 on your list. I had things working with no/limited clipping but the chains weren't connected for the most part.

 

I looked at the HDT for SSE link above your post, which says the chains for most things should work, However the date on that file was late December, and I had some DCL for CBBE file released later than that. However, I went ahead and loaded it and ran Bodyslide batch build. I'm currently stuck in Queen Sara's items in game, but most obvious on relopad was the chastity bra was now clipping through her breasts. I equipped a pair of ankle chains I had and the chain was floating halfway to her butt. I re-extracted the  DD_DCL_New_CBBE file (from which I had deleted the harnessgloves file, ) and reran bodyslide and batch built again. I actually got a better fit on the bra than I had previously. I'm completely not sure what to do with step 22. I THINK I've more or less covered steps 23 and 24. End result is still floating chains that the HDT-SMP post says should work.

 

Can you provide a bit more clarity for a confused old fucker?

I have noticed with DCL that there seems to be a few items like the horse gag harness that never get's equipped from DCL. Is there a way to update some sort of DCL list with all the assets that Devious Devices has to offer?

Hello. I'd like to make a suggestion for the next update.

 

In that Dollmaker quest in which we go fetch something in Riften from Vekel in the Thieves Guild, he puts a dress and a pair of neat boots on us, which are then given by the Dollmaker as a single item (dress+boots). I did the experience of adding only the boots to the iventory via console, but there was no way to unlock them (no key for them), since none of the standard keys worked.

 

My suggestion is adding the separate pieces to the Dollmaker's merchant chest after the quest, in both lockable and vanilla versions. The boots are quite lovely. ? I don't know if that's possible or not. :)
