Short Description

This mod adds a medium sized vampire castle to Skyrim and various screenshot locations (accessible via the carriage in the court or the location access room). It is located in north of Solitude. 
Even though normal house usage and gameplay is possible, it is intended for taking screenshots.

Long Description

Are you a millennia old vampire and tired of living in Harkon's dreg heap of a castle? Are you looking for class and luxury and a place to live your devious, bloody vampire fantasies? 
Fortunately Baroness Nora Karlov had to leave Skyrim on urgent business of the realm, and she was kind enough to grant you living rights in Karlov Manor during her absent. 

This mod adds a medium size manor to Skyrim. It is kept in a dark fantasy baroque style fitting for a vampire character or similar. The castle is located west of Solitude lighthouse, or accessible via the console ("coc ACCastleEx").
The manor features a large living area with various rooms. In an underground area you'll find thrall dungeons for your bloody needs, as well as crafting areas. Furthermore, this mod adds a gothic church/chapel dedicated to Molag Bal. Besides the mod adds various locations I used in my story blog "Of Blood and Pleasure" accessible via the main hall and a secret area.

Used external resources (listed below) in form of textures, models, sound effects etc. are property of the original authors.
Please do not distribute or offer this mod for download without my permission to do so. Any upload to the Steam Workshop, Bethesda.net, ModDrop and any form of console ports are prohibited.

Many of the used assets are from a store called "DAZ3d" (https://www.daz3d.com/shop/) which is effectively a stock database for 3D assets. Those can not be uses anywhere without acquiring the respective object and license from the store. (List below)

Sorry, I read this: "It is located in north west of Solitude" and thought that was the only location description, I didn't expect there to be more info further down. My bad. ?

Finally found it walking around though, I know why I missed it, it's behind a mountain that blocks the view from the normal walking path around area of Solitude and the sea, from the lighthouse you can only see it if you're on the roof. 

IMO it still needs a marker or a map. ?‍♀️

Just exploring the manor now, it's really beautiful❤️❤️❤️ But quick note, not sure if it's intentional, but on many of the chairs NPCs (and the PC) sit sideways.

Hi, if anyone in 2023 is reading this, welcome, the mod works and is perfect, it's beautiful, it gives a house or houses, depending on the interpretation, I'm having a problem with my saves but I hope to resolve it today

I'm just discovering this mod....and what a treat it is to explore. I am floored by the amount of detail you put into this. Locations within locations...Truly outstanding work! I don't even screenshot this game I just wanted to experience this mod, and I'm very happy I did. I think the cathedral so far is my favorite place, it gives me Anor Londo vibes. I love what you've done here.

I answered you previously but didn't get a response.  Probably because I didn't quote you.  So here are the details...

 

I checked this out as a source for material as I found the "old church" cell in a video I saw on this mod intriguing.  It really fit my needs well.  I am making a mod in my little spare time (which may or may not get finished and released) which is related to Skyrim lore (adding some pseudo lore and related quests) regarding the Aedra and Daedra and was curious if I could use your content.  A few questions:

 

  1. I discovered a new land while COCing to different cells.  Are you planning on finishing that? (Part of my mod takes place off at least one island of the coast of Tamriel.  Currently I am using (and will probably continue to use) the abandoned Lost Colony of Akavir, which I really like but was curious about using this land as well.
  2. May I use your content?  Specifics on the cells: The ACBPOldChurch cell for sure (the much smaller, older version of the Cathedral).  Also interested in the ACHFVampireTemple but wanting to redecorate it with the big statue from the Salomne Temple and more candles.  Finally, I have uses for both AcimpWinterFallen (looks like a "nature" room) and the small Cathedral Tower room (not the cathredral itself... way too big lol for my needs).  I don't really have any interest in any of the statues... so I would remove them except for the previously mentioned statue from the Salomne Temple.
  3. Theoretically, I could use your mod as a master and alter at will... though not sure that would be ok either.

You can not just copy and paste parts of my mod into yours.

Such as cells like ACBPOldChurch or entire worldspaces, this is not a modders ressource. There are plenty of worldspaces on the Nexus that serve as modders ressources and allow exactly that.

Making your mod a dependence on mine is fine and so are edits, as long as you don't copy cells from my mod into yours or reupload parts of my mods (with the exception of the .esp. (Btw. you can also make .esps depend on other .esps)

Sadly this isnt working for me. If I install it as it is, it crashes my game. Then I used Cathedral to optimize the files, then the game doesnt crash but inside the house theres a lot of purple objects, like the paintings for example. Damn shame, I finally find a cool house to use it for my playthrough and it ends up being the only one that causes me this much trouble.

Dude. It looks like I'll love this mod but I have spent an hour running up and down the North Coast. I climbed all over the mountains behind Solitude. I cannot find this place... "North West in Solitude" is REALLY not good enough directions my man. There are no other instructions. No Youtubers saying where it's at. Everyone else acts like it was a cake walk to find but like I said, I've been searching for an hour. I even turned off clipping and flew around. I just can't find it. Can someone take a screenshot of it's location on the map please?

Read through all these comments and found the location. I'd recommend changing it to "North EAST of Solitude, Behind the Lighthouse on the Coast".

Looks great. Sound of the fireplaces are REALLY loud. I'm going to make a patch for that if anyone wants it.

Don't answer, that was a rhetorical question.

Anyway, this is my 5th playthrough in the past 2 years alone with this mod installed. I allways visit and lose a whole day (real life) to explore. I still haven't seen everything.

 

Just wanted to say, if you ever read Zelazny's "Chronicles of Amber", the whole thing - with locations turning into different locations, shifting in time and space - gives me those vibes. The place might have as well be owned by one of the Lords of Chaos, I'd say Mandor would probably like it, as one of his personal pocket dimensions.

Alter Native I really have no words for how in awe I am at your work here. I actually stared at my screen in disbelief at how well this is all made, the manor itself, the diverse other travel locations, the customization through furniture options/lighting. This is one of the best mods ever, holy moly. Your aesthetic taste and work is breathtaking. These are awesome locations for screenshots. At some locations, like the cathedral, I actually had to say out loud "How awesome is that". I thought this would "just" be a bigger player home, but the quality and diversity is out of this world. Thank you very much for your work and providing this mod for us! Take care!

because i deleted the underlight and after that it work perfect

before it i can't enter the manor because rock from underlight blocked door

and much of the underlight dissapears

Did you read the note on that mod page that clearly mentions that The Underlight is not compatible due to location conflict?

As other have said this is outstanding. Just over the years it has been on occasion hit and miss with ctd other times Ive had bundles of followers hanging out there partying up. 
I have what I consider one of my most stable mod lists so time to give it another whirl.

 I look forward to the day when I can have a ai NPC identifying potential issues. Probably not in my lifetime but the the ungrateful generation have something to look forward to.
