The CK really isn't that bad. Some people like to bash on it, but in my experience, this isn't warranted. For example, it never crashed on me. It is confusing at first, but it consistently does what you tell it to do. If you are starting out, of course it's confusing because you need to learn how the game works and what all those different forms are. 

If you want to go into scripting I would recommend using Notepad++ as text editor instead of the CK-built in editor. Not only does this allow you to edit and compile scripts without having to start the CK, the built-in editor also has a character limit of about 32k (don't know the exact number), which is small.

Darkfox127's videos are the best out there anyway, so I would not worry about not having enough to read or watch. The most important thing is to keep trying and not give up if it doesn't work, because most of the time, it won't.

Ahhh... it's not THAT bad. I admit that I've delivered babies in less time than it took for the CK to load. But THAT was a long time ago. ?

4. check the load progress of the ck
5. make notes
6. finish the video
7. wait the last minue for the CK
8. try out the latest lesson
