I have absolutely nothing to wear!

ย

...and I can't decide, what I should lend from a good friend of mine.

ย

The thing is, that I have to appear tonight at Elisif's court. We were allowed an audience and want to convince her and her advisors and asslickers to alllow a traditional festival for the common folks.

As things are,ย  it would do no good if I would rush into her palace with my usual woodland attire.

ย

In fact, I have already been told that THAT looks rather offending to the finer people and aristocrats of Solitude.

ย

Thanks to Dibella, a friend here in Solitude has a similar figure and a far better sorted wardrobe. She has offered me help and is willing to lend me some of her beautiful clothes.

But she has such a huge selection, now I stand here and I can't decide.

ย

First, I would prefer trousers. I can fight so much better with my legs unhindered.

(shouting from the door): You won't need your sword. If you have to cut and slash your issue at court, you have aready lost it.

ย

But I was quickly told to better wear a proper "dress"ย  and that good sword fighting agiity should NOT be my primary concern at a Jarl's court.

Next critique was about my "smelly" scarf.

ย

Me: What? It doesn't smell!

(Voice from the door):ย  Yes it does - even here at the door. A composite of campfire and mead, a distinct scent of dead Draugr, insufficiently covered by a note of skeever left-behinds and ... *sniffing* wait... do I sense a tiny bit of male fluids usually used in the act of copulation?

ย

Fine, maybe I wear this elegant fur instead of my scarf?

ย

Yennefer: And, my dear? Have you decided?

Me: No Yen, I fear I havn't. I am still undecided.

ย

Me: And you are sure, the sword won't fit to my dress?

ย

Yennefer: Noooo. A sword is out of question. Even your dagger might not be helpful at all. That is, unless you intend to stab a courtier to raise some attention.

ย

ย

Now, the question remains: What should I wear?

While violence usually doesn't go over well in court, especially when meeting the recently widowed jarl, husband murdered right there in that same court, your accessorizing issues are more of color.

ย

Outfits like that really need ebony daggers, not steel. If nothing else, get a nice dark leather sheath.

ย

(if I had one, I'd link to one of the armor mods that has a dark leather outfit. it'd be fitting).

Ebony is (modded) veeery rare and uncommon and out of my range. But that leather thing sound quite good  I think I have a mod with those .. (somewhere)

Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair

Always :classic_cool: It's part of my obligations and in honor to Lady Dibella

The VERY obvious answer to "I have nothing to wear" is "wear nothing." Depending on Elisif's sexual orientation it might be just the "trick." Sadly, it might also land you in the prison doing "hard" time.

ย

If I were at home (where my screenshots are) I would happily give you something of a fashion show so you could have options. I think that my personal favorite for you would be the "modified" Tsun armor. The female version that I have looks nearly identical to male version. Thus, it's a skirt (not trousers since those are not acceptable). It's also topless (you can call it tribute to Lady Dibella or a way to distract those courtiers, whatever). Finally, it is light armor in case another one of those pesky "fights" breaks out. Sadly, one it doesn't have is a good place to hide a melee weapon, but you just can't have everything.ย ?

wasnt the weapon the issue?

ย

immersive weapons: silver tanto has a fine black weapon sheat, wouldnt that fit?

i use that with black city clothes

ย

or more interesting loot: ritual dagger, its small, doesnt look like a weapon at first

sadly the sheat is white

ย

or more interesting loot: icy dagger (?) that has a dark brown sheat but loot very unique

ย

=> i shall make pics^^

but if the weapon is the issue why not a "bound" weapon which doesn't appear until you "call" it?

This is dangerous but I was thinking, how about a huge two handed battleaxe slung over the back? You can just do a Serana "in case you've noticed the giant 'thing' on my back." Then say "move along, nothing to see here."

Magic ? Me? Mediocre at best ... :classic_blush: But yes, that's what Lady Yennefer would recommend for the apprentice.

"These aren't the droids you are looking for" is the next major step of my studies in the arcane arts (illusion) The mod "spell research" and a bit of role play help very much against being ridiciously overpowered  KUDOs to IronDusk ?

I think, the point isย  that you won't walk into a throne room with a carfload full of various weapons and a set of dangerous spells at ready to cast.

Court mages and huscarls should take care of people like that, leaving a glowing ashpile or a smashed mass of formely human body parts on the floor.

And I am not Thane (yet) :classic_shy:, which would make at least an explainable excuse.

A friendly slice of life moment. A bit too much spoilers for my tastes though, but I understand you used them to preserve the surprise effect of every cloth change. :classic_wink:

Malicia : ยซ Hi-iโ™ช ! I see you're needing some expert advice on this, yes :

ย

If it's to see a queen, then you need to dress like a princess, you see ?

This one is a classic. Never gets old, nope ; but guys gonna think you want to marry them, uh... ->little-mermaid-wedding-dress-little-merm

ย

That one is more trendy, but if the doors are too narrow you'll have problems, yes-> ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  headshots_1490713523438.0.jpg

ย

So you could go fo this one. No problem with doors, nor with weddings -> ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  little-mermaid-1506000098.jpg?crop=1.00x

Also don't forget the earrings, and the make-up. :classic_sleepy: ยป

? since crafting is out of the question, I could see what the shops sell. Anyway, it might be forbidden at court to run around with a weapon. At least for a visitor like me.

That might change after I have distinguished myself and gained the Thane title.

I think you should keep walking naked. Why spend the money on ugly dresses and outfits. Your skin is the best wearing you can get. :classic_happy:
