(I feel like this is kind of an excuse to post yiff, but hey, not that I'm complaining, lol :classic_rolleyes:)

How about deer in either the standard or rein variety?

I support this idea, I think reindeer can be neat if done right. And I think I've already made it clear I'd be all for a standard deer race, so...

i would say bunny but that already exists

So you wanted a jackalope? Since we're talking about deers here and all... ?

Seriously, though, if Bad Dog wanted to give a shot at making proper bunnies I'd be all for it. I'm happy with the way the Lungaris turned out but their weakest spot is the heads, and that's exactly something I'm not very skilled at while BD actually is. I'm sure he would do a much better job at that than me.

Also making an actual jackalope race should be easy-ish if a deer race is made, just need to reuse the horns and maybe blend the textures so they don't just look like Lungaris with antlers. Huh. Actually I think I'll give that a shot if something comes out of it and BD doesn't do it himself.

Not a big fan of goats so personally I wouldn't give them a high priority, but the more the merrier when it comes to beast races so I guess I'd be fine with having it too.

Don't think we could do giraffes justice a far as neck length is concerned, the skeleton and animations simply aren't built for NPCs with long necks (and much less with giraffe necks).

That being said, I do like the giraffe skin/body pattern shown there and it would be nice to have a tail and head shape like that even if it's in the same proportions as deer or other beast races, so this gets my support too.

Also the one shown in the picture looks nice, wouldn't mind having that one in particular (minus blue nipples, that is; I'd rather have something flesh-toned instead).

(For the lazy:)

Also another variant with a more "classic" pattern from the same author:

(yes, I copy-pasted from the "goat" line above, but I just feel the same way about both, lol)

"desert/dry/sandy goat"

That looks way better than I thought it would. I do still find camel faces pretty damn fugly so I'd pass on them, though.

Also thanks for those refs, hadn't seen that artist's stuff before and it's pretty damn good.

Anyway, if we're doing suggestions... I'd like to have antelopes, or at least the one from here:

And maybe gazelles too, at least so I can finally re-enact the events of Predators of Kilimanjaro.

Guess that would work too, since horns don't need tris or expressions or whatever. I'd still like to have deer body textures to blend them with the Lungaris ones, though. And before you mention it, nope, nuska's won't do the trick; they are pretty good but are meant for a half-human-half-deer race (like satyrs), not for a proper anthro deer race as I'd want them to.

So I guess it would be up to Bad Dog to fill the gap. :classic_rolleyes:

Considering the sheer amount of names you gave me and that I don't browse E6, like, all day every day, it's no wonder I haven't checked most of them yet.

It's not like anybody's going to object.

No goats. Well, maybe a little goats. Horses first. Then once the base shape is set up, deer, cow, maybe even goats can use the same tris, just be a modification of the basic head shape. Horns are easy.

I like the vampire horses. Blaze suggested in another thread that there could be more changes than just sticking fangs out the mouth. I'll think about it.

Still just noodling. No commitments.

Will have to search around and see if I find anything else I like (and hopefully that looks doable ingame too).

Heh. We have bats already, so hopefully we will have deers too at some point so this scene can be reproduced ingame, lol. :classic_tongue:

I can definitely see this being a large-scale project, but what if after creating all this, you make it a transformation project. Somewhat like Being a Cow, but using the new Transformation System released recently. It would be fascinating to watch my character slowly transform into a hybrid. Just an idea.

Got a first skin on. Think I'm going to put those ears on a slider so you can choose a size all the way up to mule ears. Thinking also that I don't need every vanilla slider designed for human heads.

Do the horse heads without their very long necks look very strange to any of you? I can't think of any real reason horse heads should look more weird on human bodies than dog heads, but I can't even seem to anthro them right in my imagination.
