It's a no-go for me. I installed on a new game and set her in the load order per the instructions. "Redeem Ivy" and the radio station show up in the Pip-Boy, but no sound from the radio and no Ivy at the Sanctuary workstation. I moved the mod to the top of my load order right below ESM. No help. The same thing. No radio, no Ivy.

RTFM. She is not in the Sanctuary Workstation.

Also, check your other mods the radio works for everyone these days so it must be incompatibilities with another mod, most likely a Sanctuary mod. Drop all your sanctuary based mods and try again until you found the culprit.

IMO, Kellogg got a bum deal with the Institute. In nearly every recordable instance we've witnessed how he's been a product of his environment. It's almost on the nose that he grew up in a broken home with an abusive father figure and then he, himself, nearly perpetuates the cycle. He is, without doubt, a truly interesting character trying to survive in a world not of his choosing, but all the while trying to maintain some sense of "control" over his own life. His humanity is symbolically and systematically replaced with Institute tech, and he becomes nothing more than a tool for the big bad Institute. Father/Shaun even claims as much during our own interactions with him as the main story plays out. Having said that, can one really blame the monster for being a monster when that monster was "created" by our own fallibility of our own perceived superiority (a.k.a. Institute mentality)?

I rather like @Reginald_001's take on Kellogg as the Deborah's "saviour" whom we now know as IVY. In a way, we get to indirectly experience his diminishing humanity before he got swallowed up by the Institute. As much as Bethesda has engineered us into "hating" Kellogg for killing our spouse, I can't help but feel a bit sad for him at the same time.

And don't forget that IVY is Dr. Stein's "monster" as much as Kellogg was the Institute's. Kind of ironic since Dr. Stein is from the Institute as well. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree there, yea?

Anyways, sorry for the rant/rambling. Unless there is an IVY "Deluxe" edition, this one will be my all-time favourite companion. I know Reginald has dabbled in some more lore-based modding earlier which I haven't had time to check out yet but probably will sooner rather than later. Thanks again, Reginald.

And now back to your regularly scheduled channel discussion...

...If Joe's in the mix with some IVY development, I can't wait for the next update!

No. I feel like Kellog really is the bad guy, no matter how he spins it for himself, you always have a choice, right? It was his choice to follow that path of violence. He could have stayed with his wife and child, he had all the opportunities for a 'nice' life (considering life post apocalyptic US). And the same goes for Deborah, she was a Raider Boss of a very much feared and respected group of raiders in the Capital Wastes.

I agree. The Institute couldn't have taken advantage of him and his vicious nature, if he didn't allow it. He lived a long life and had ample opportunity to say to himself, " wait, this isn't right". He could've chose to stop it all for his family, so his kid at least wouldn't grow up to be like him and continue the cycle, but he didn't and they died because of it. Even after them dying because of him, he made the choice to continue his way of life. The only one he was a victim of was himself and his bad choices. And he's the only one to blame for where he ended up.

Choice, the fate of us all, yea? Sometimes the only way out is full steam ahead... with boxes and boxes of bullets. Thanks for your opinions, friends. I'm grateful for the deviation from the normal forum discourse thanks to the creation of Ivy.

...but getting back to that, Nice fucking teaser vid. I'm assuming the mods have or are currently resolving the thread issue, yea? It's definitely gonna be Hawt Summer!

@figarodlc - Can you please tell me why @Chic Geek has you so excited for her to be the voice actress? I don't know why so if show me why and I want to find out for myself.

Welcome to Earth. Chic Geek as Ivy will greatly reduce your desire to sleep. Fantastical possibilities...

What a coup for @Reginald_001. She wouldnt dare get involved if Ivy had not been so great to start with. Well done and bravo!

Hi Reginald_001,

Doe's this mean that Ivy will have a new voice or her voice will change in a possible quest to slightly restore her?

@figarodlc - You're right she is HOT. Good job I have Fallout 4 and all of its DLC. Just in case got my season pass through an offer which I grabbed, years ago before all of the who ha. My Fallout 4 game itself was a gift a few years back. I had trouble with keeping the game running in the past - kept running of out ram. Doesn't happen now though currently only on a card based on NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750Ti with 2GB GDDR5.

All I had to do was mention in passing that Chic would be the NEW Ivy, and she took it from there. She's an amazingly creative person to work with and its been a complete blast going through this process with her. I cannot WAIT for you all to hear what she has in store for you!

Will we be able to use BodySlide to generate the files for the body and outfit used if we wish? I have been batch building bodies and outfits using Bodyslide. Eventually I hope to figure out how to prepare my own personal preset for use with Bodyslide.

I may not have 4K capable monitor but can enjoy stuff still at FHD (Full HD - 1080p). Though not through TFT LCD which in the past wasn't always so great with FHD gaming graphics. Now however I am using a LED based which is gaming specific monitor through HDMI.

On a DX12 capable system which works extremely well for me.

Any idea what framework will be used for the sexual animations or will it be a custom one?

Would I be able to help out in some way?

Chic's rendition of Ivy is AMAAAZING.

Or will it be in reverse - get to be part of the transformation process itself. Either her transformation into the sexbot (gynoid) or the player character if female?

Like in the scene where Major Mira Killian (aka Motoko Kusanagi) becomes something similar herself.

All of the current Ivy mod will stay the same, but it will be voiced by Chic Geek instead of the robotic voice that Ivy has now.

''We've'' got it 'covered' but thanks so much for offering!

I did RTFM. On Mar 2 you said:

very interesting!where to find her?

You can find her at the workbench of Sanctuary!

Your words. I was simply reading through trying to find an answer to my problem before bugging anyone. I figured out what the problem was. It wasn't a Sanctuary mod, it was the "Loving Cait," "Loving Curie," and "Loving Piper" mods Ivy was conflicting with. Whether one or all I'm not sure. I simply disabled all three and she ran fine. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. And Ivy fucking rocks!!!

Hah.. that was for a really old release, back in March.

I'm happy you figured it out and I'll be checking those mods out for sure to check for incompatibilities there.
