A truly amazing mod - it must be for me to stop being a lurker.  But am I the only one who really LOVES Ivy's current voice as well as her?  I think the way she presents the Pelican story is excellent. 
Thank you for keeping Fallout 4 alive for me.

You are welcome! Ivy's original voice will always be optional to use, should you choose to do so... but with Chic Geek at the mic...

K, cool. With you and Ivy, something told me to start a new mod free, fresh out of the vault game a couple weeks ago. Glad to hear about Ivy's current voice still being available as an optional. Her voice is a big part of her and is one of the thousands of things that makes her unique and separates her from other voiced followers who have actual people voices. Not saying the voice actress for her doesn't sound good though, because she does. Also, I was wondering if her dialogue will change or be toned down since someone will be voice acting her now, or will Ivy keep being 'Ivy' ?

Ivy is 100% Ivy.... And shit.. I'm not going to spoil anything more. You'll just have to wait and see how good this is going to be! :)

Well, hell, think I'll do a little more work on that mod free beginning I have waiting and make sure everything's set and prepared for your latest masterpiece.  ? ?

Reg and JoeR, we are all stoked that our Queen, Chic Geek is voicing Ivy.  We all fell for her voice in the early days of her Youtube Channel and now with this happening we can now listen to her dulcet tones with the best companion in the Commonwealth.

 

Thank you guys for all of the hard work.

Thanks Reginald, i just got that "200 hours" message :) Quite a lot of time, thanks for Ivy!

 

Also a lil sidenote. You got now, shall i say "quite unique opportunity", thru your own work. I notice that Ivy is not happy with her current voice module aaand You + certain Chic r working hard to make her... ehm... better voice, right? Well... this "opportunity" is included in the word "quest", quest for better voice module. Maybe? no? hmm... maybe?

I've had a burning desire to free Ivy when I first realized what Stein had done. Anybody would be grateful, I think even "Ivy."

I love Ivy, but I'm having serious problems with WIVS radio.  It seems to work for a bit, until I get the Nick Valentine station then it just stops working.  I've reinstalled, done a "clean save" and reinstalled, LOOTed the load order, manually changed the load order, and still no radio.  She works fine, makes her usual comments, and whatever else, but no radio.  I was enjoying brainwashing my settlers into sci-fi, especially the Logan's Run commercial and now it's gone.

 

By the way, was it Ivy running around screaming "exterminate" like a dalek when we were under attack, or another mod I have?  It bloody scared the crap out of me and took me back to being about 5 and hiding behind the sofa.

I love when she does that. Had me looking all around the first time I heard it. To bad she doesn't do it often. Well, guess it's time to go watch the doctor now.

Sorry to bother you Reginald but I am sure a few other admirers of Ivy and your work are wondering the same.
I read that a new start would be best for the coming update and I do not have a problem with that despite being level 60 at moment.
I was wondering if I could uninstall Ivy now, clean up all mods, restart the game and get some of the earlier quests out of the way (kill Mama Murphy)  and get everything ready to greet Ivy when she is let loose on the world?
Is there an optimum time to meet Ivy in the game?

Thanks again for your great work and i loved her little talk after reaching a high level of interaction with her.

You don't need a new game for the next release, IF you have 3.2 already installed. But you might want to start a new game if you don't want to miss a lot of dialogue related to earlier quests... the choice is up to you as there is no technical reason why you would need to start a new game.

 

If you did not have 3.2 installed, but any earlier version, then a new game, or a cleaned save, is required. Instructions on how to 'clean' your current save game are in the original topic post. ;)
