Stellar pics! Love her crib too. What mods did you use for her left arm and spine details? 1
R-Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 Finally happy with Exceed's look for now! I'm looking forward to getting to actually playing with her, she took a lot of work ?  4
R-Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 @B10HAZARD. holy shit! That's pretty deep, is that a game?? That really does kinda resonate with Exceed's background,  a product deemed faulty for having a soul, Although that was pretty fucking moving ? I am also holding out for winter! Had my warmers ready and waiting for too long! 1

The spaceship is by Lanmi81 and is really well put together! It's quite a cc heavy creation and not really designed for gameplay as the floor panels are not created as floor which restricts movement a lot but poseplayer works ok,  The arm and her details is my own handiwork ? I used the robot dermal mod from MTS as a base and created her forearm separate, metallic rings and nails are by Jomsims 1

Had my warmers ready and waiting for too long! That was a short film called "Kara" by Quantum Dream that was later expanded into the game "Detroit: Become Human", which is a game about highly advanced humanoid robots struggling with various topics surrounding what it means to be human. It is heavily story driven with gameplay mechanics taking a backseat. Despite this, it ends up being a very engaging experience as there are many – and I do mean "many" – different routes you can take with your game and characters beyond the basic "everyone lives happily ever after" and "everyone painfully dies" endings, though those are both endings you can get as well. My only gripe with the game is that the symbolism and references to real world sociopolitical events, specifically the Civil Rights Movement that occurred here in the U.S. and the extermination camps of Nazi Germany, can be a bit too on the nose. If you're into games that are very story driven and you like having the option of taking multiple paths in your playthroughs, I'd recommend it. If you prefer more complex game mechanics and intense gameplay overall, this may not be the game for you.  I just realized that I did a mini review of this game without meaning to. Meh, fuck it. Have a cutscene:   4

Had my warmers ready and waiting for too long! As porkybork said, but it was only a Concept Demo idea for a game back then. long before they came up with the script for Detroit. It was first shown on Playstation access running on a PS3. like i said, waaaaay back!   1
B10HAZARD. Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 If you thought that demo was deep, you will love this one. It's a Demo motion capture they did for Heavy Rain. Another Quantic Dream game. they put it in the extras in the final game. Another one from the PS3 day's! Enjoy.   1

As for playing with her, you're a little late. She apparently couldn't wait for you, and played with herself. 1

I never played the game, as it did seem too sociopolitical as you say. However, all these recent posts are giving me cravings for "Blade Runner" (not the new one -haven't watched it yet). Is it similar, or is the "what it means to be human" theme the only similarity? I have played Heavy Rain, and while not my favorite, don't mind the story driven games. 2

Yeah, she had a bit of a fiddle for me lol! Gotta test my prototype for leaks after all ? 1

The blue ray directors cut is the best version, a classic.  The new blade runner film was shite though.?   Like tear's in the rain.  ? 1
mrrakkonn Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 A scene I just finished up. Ended up pretty much just over the 50 image limit, so here's the first, mostly non-sex part, rest to follow in a post below soon (well, if the site wasn't so damned slow of course).   Spoiler  7
B10HAZARD. Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 @mrrakkonn ikr, site has been sluggishly slow the past 4/5 days. 3
mrrakkonn Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Damn, this took a while. Here's the second part.   Spoiler  5
R-Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019  @2cool4u_1  Hey! Sorry for the late feedback, I get a little obsessive sometimes and have to catch up with myself lol! New Simmie has me pretty distracted ? The shots look nice and I think that if you can access build mode (bb.enablefreebuild) try to "busy" up the surroundings with some more shrubbery and maybe a few trees, This will help to fill the empty space and also create more shadows, clutter is a big part of my picture taking process too, Try think of some relevant objects to leave around the campsite, the search tool in build mode is not bad!  If you're looking for more darkness I'd try adding the "no glo" mod if you haven't already, Also I once saw on Tumblr, a Reshade preset by Remus Sirion that was SUPER dark! If you're interested in that I can try track it down for you ?

I have played Heavy Rain, and while not my favorite, don't mind the story driven games. I haven't seen either of the Blade Runner movies, so I unfortunately can't make a fair comparison. I will say, though, that the questions of humanity in D:BH center around whether or not the robots are truly "alive" in the same way that humans are. In other words, are what the robots feeling actual, legitimate emotions and thoughts, or are they just a complex illusion resulting from errors in programing? What I like about this, is that the game actually gives you reasons to believe that either option can be true depending on how you play the game, even though most of the game works under the assumption that the robots are "human." I could give specific examples, but then I'd be spoiling the game, which is not what I want to do. I will leave this cutscene, though, since it doesn't reveal anything major about the plot:  As for the political angle, I wouldn't say that the game is "too political," just that the parallels drawn to real world events were done without much subtlety. The references were, as the AVGN might say, "as blunt as an atom bomb." Really, sociopolitical issues should be portrayed with as much care and finesse as any other touchy subject in fiction, because that's what it is, a touchy subject. Despite this, I still thought that a few parallels in particular were very effective at tugging on my heart strings. The game does such a good job at making you feel what the characters are going through that the reference becomes entirely appropriate and deserved, rather than it seeming like a cheap comparison. So, ya know, it has its ups and downs. And, honestly, the unsubtle references weren't that big of a turn off for me since they still serve the game's story, which is what really matters in the end. Anyway, this has gotten super off-topic. Sorry, @R-Lo lol. To make up for it, I'll share some screenshots that I'll be using in the upcoming chapter for "Cambion's Tale" – yeah, that's right, I didn't forget! Spoiler  5

New Simmie has me pretty distracted ? No problem. My current project has me busy in several different areas; for example, tomorrow I plan on looking into creating poses, and whether or not it's within my skill-set (I assume it is ?). I'm also still building one of the sets, and I started watching "Kashimashi - Girl Meets Girl" as suggested (Thanks BTW, it aligns almost perfectly with my story).  5 hours ago, R-Lo said: The shots look nice and I think that if you can access build mode (bb.enablefreebuild) try to "busy" up the surroundings with some more shrubbery and maybe a few trees, This will help to fill the empty space and also create more shadows, clutter is a big part of my picture taking process too, Try think of some relevant objects to leave around the campsite, the search tool in build mode is not bad!  If you're looking for more darkness I'd try adding the "no glo" mod if you haven't already, Also I once saw on Tumblr, a Reshade preset by Remus Sirion that was SUPER dark! 2cool4u_1 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 @porkybork Thanks, I'll look into getting it. I'd recommend you watch Blade Runner (though there are at least 8 versions to choose from). 1
R-Lo Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 Great piccies everyone and thank you @B10HAZARD. For the links! I really don't mind the chatter as I don't see it ever as off topic, I see it more as information being shared and a healthy discussion is a bonus here for me,  I tend to find or watch things that I may never have found out at times and I like that people are comfortable enough to share their likes and insights too ?  2
R-Lo Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 I suckered myself into going further with her skin! 5
