Put together another scene with a story to it. This time I didn't bother to put in actual dialogue, but hopefully the pictures should be enough to follow the gist of it. 

 

It's pretty much a porn scene, Maryam brings her boyfriend, Wesley, over for dinner and to meet her strict and religious, as well as kind of jealous, stepmom (I borrowed @IGI 2000's Luna Star sim to play the part, edited her a bit to kind of fit my style and made an appropriate outfit).           

 

Again I ended up with a lot of pics, so going to have to post this one in several parts here, though I guess that's okay ?, sticking them in spoilers anyway.

Thanks! Well, my version is basically your version with some minor tweaks to have her looks fit in a bit better with my other sims. Mostly I just used a different skintone (I have too many installed, can't fit in any more new ones without completely hiding the face presets, and I need those ) and eye colors, some different skin details and did some very slight tweaks to her face and body. 

 

Basically I needed a sim who looked a little bit older for the part, and didn't feel like making one myself from scratch or using any of the ones I had (parents for some of the sims I've made families for and actually play from time to time). So thank you on that part, she fit the bill quite nicely! 

 

Looking forwards to finding a use for more of your girls

What I also like is that you made her look oriental from latin with couple of tweaks. And the story is great, I love changing dress at the beginning. So use my girls any time you want, it will be my pleasure too, for sure!

Haha ? I actually never tried to make her look especially oriental, I guess the outfit goes a long way ? I actually thought about it more from a casting perspective where someone just figured "close enough".

Ended up making some pretty significant changes to the girl I used in the scene I posted. Tweaks mostly to her nose and brow and slight ones to her chin and jaw. In addition switched out her face overlay for another one and abandoned the hairstyle used (texture and color were too much unlike other stuff I had, and I like one or two different hairstyles for different outfits every now and then). 

 

 

Kind of ironic, I think she looks much better now ?

Having a kid is a time-consuming task, leaving the parents little time to have fun and play. So my Simmies went on holiday. 

They had the time of there life. The end was a somewhat troublesome surprise though.

Thanks. I've been kind of unsure about what hair to use for her though, and been going back and forth over what I prefer when making her over. Essentially I'm down to four alternatives, sort of, if anyone here has any option they'd prefer I'd like to hear it as I'm not quite sure myself. 

 

1) Hairstyle used in the scene I posted. I like the shape and such of this one, but not really the texture, it's a bit weirdly shiny and solid-looking. 

 

2) A number of different medium-length hairs that I think go well together, allowing for some differentiation between outfits. Similar to what I used for her for the look I was using most recently (the above)

 

3) A shorter kind of messy hairstyle that I found looking around, I kind of like this one, though it doesn't quite work with formal outfits and some party outfits, so something else might work well together, possibly this ponytail (it's not that much longer)

 

4) A long non-maxis match (though not-quite alpha) hairstyle by Nightcrawler over at TSR that I've had for a while but never really used for sims, it doesn't look too out of place with my general style in dark brown and black colors as I'd be using the former for this girl.
